I really hope this week will be a good week with the 250th episode, ME all scheduled. The CV's will have ample opportunities to get this back on track with Arnav's reveal. Sanaya herself mentioned that they are going into drama phase very soon.. so I am hopeful.

Savvy...fully agree with you..Arnie has been Gul's favorite brainchild...not Khushi...I think LM adopted her...but she was orphaned more recently...

Music...Being a role model is a heavier burden placed on women characters...Can you imagine anyone demanding Arnie to be a role model? Could a charcater like him be a role model...? May be yes,,, but with all his flaws...and that is somehow easier to accept...

Never the less...yes, I agree...we do want Khushi to remember her values...of not harming anyone...not rejoicing in inflicting pain and certainly not wanting to be some one who wants to committs suicide...Arnie or no Arnie...😃

Ms...Vee...except for that Arnie bathing outside scene...I have not felt Khushi lacks any qualities that makes her lacking class to be Arnies wife...She does not have money...but she is a classy lady in her own way...It took a lot of class to buy those plants on La's behalf and gift to Arnie...😃

Oh lord no more Naked Sobti please...lBarun Chalega...nanga punga he can take to his movie 😆

Vee, one more interesting tidbit - In Sanaya's interview last week, someone asked her that they wanted a rain sequence like the parking lot between Arnav and Khushi. Sanaya mentioned it is a good idea and she is going to talk to the producers- only downfall they have to be under water 10-12 hours (which is what I believe happened in the parking lot sequence) and hence they get sick the next day!

IPL fever starts and the channel asks the shows to move the twists to May. I say this on the basis of what I read on IF headlines. All SP shows are going through a twist right now. EHMMBH recently aired the episode for which the promo had been shown pre-IPL. So Cvs decide to spend the 2 months giving the fans what you think they want. Non-stop Barun and Sanaya. Keep the 1% analysts happy with adding pseudo layers. For the rest, use up fan fiction ideas and use them as tracks. For the fan girls, have Barun topless once a week and Gel-less twice a week. For the rest, let's give them a Khushi-on-caffiene...

That is the main problem. the problem is not Khushi's comedy. The problem is that there is too much of it. The Cvs thought that if they have to stay put for 2 months, the only way to keep interest is to have Barun-sanaya on screen most of the time. An excellent idea it would have been too, if they had managed to keep the tone of the characters right. They have failed there. I am a regular viewer who watches the show and takes what is shown at face value. I don't have time to decode or make assumptions on what is shown. So if you show me a Khushi who is fine with having the man she loves starve the whole day and be gleeful about it, I am going to take it for what it is. The trick to a daily show is that viewers need to reminded of the storyline that is being played out constantly. Now, if you give me one miniscule scene, monologue that hints at root cause of the behavior, even that I will take it for what it is. Mostly, it is not about whether what the character is doing is right or wrong, it is about whether it makes sense for that character. And they completely failed at that. We never got Khushi's thought process, we always got an Arnie thought process because at the end of each track, they would bring the ASR mode on. He would get FBs at least. Khushi didn't have anything to back up her behavior. Usually, Khushi's thought process was showed by her conversation with DM. That aspect of her is completely gone now even though she made up with DM during holi.

I don't know much about what it takes to put together a daily soap. I have absolutely no idea what it takes to put even an episode together. I am as far removed from that business as I can be and yet a layman like me was able to figure out that the treatment of the characters has changed after holi.Not just Khushi but all of them. It may be the director , it may be a change in the creative team. The point is that when you have a made a change that is that visible to a viewer, something has gone wrong pretty bad.

This better be good no Arnie for a few months they better have some awesome stuff to keep us glued! At least BS won't be leaving just tons of body doubles n close shots while he shoots for his movie 😆

Sush - Agree with you completely. Story telling is like "reading comprehension 101", stuff we learn in elementary school. Every story has a beginning and an end.This applies to every track, one scene to another; however small/big the track is. You have to keep the viewer engaged till the end. Now a days I can't remember one day to the next. That doesn't bode well for a show, does it?

I don't expect Khushi to be a role model at all especially under the circumstances. Sometimes it helps to strike back when the other persons intentions are to hurt you and you know you are not at fault. The scene that comes to mind is "making her sleep by the pool". Arnie knew he was wrong but there is this a stubborn streak in him that will not let him accept his flaws however wrong he is. That is all men...😆 So she was perfectly justified in using 100 ideas to work her way through to get her "aada hissa" of the bedroom, bathroom...👏

Characterization should remain intact; once a child always a child. The pranks, childishness should always be there...That is her personal trait and will not & should not change. But there needs to be growth. A good example would be the "jadoo tona" incident. She thought he was trying to mess her life up and she used her tricks to get back. Was funny, I loved it. But she also learned Arnie never believes in such stuff and she admitted it too. So if Khushi isn't depressed and was smart enough to reason, why is she on a suicide mission? Goes to show there is no character development, does that mean she never understood Arnie?

PH cannot have it both ways, either she is depressed or she is not. If she is not, tell the audience it is a fake suicide mission to get him to spit the truth out. That would have been super funny and in character...It would have irked him too coz untimely death is a touchy subject for him...

Khushi criticism is the norm here...Anything she does is wrong but we find excuses for Arnies behavior😆 It's a girl thing...Hotwa ke liye saath khoon maaf...😆Remember the uproar when she flirted with NK to make him jealous & then the desigirl song...Can't a girl have some fun? As long it is within limits & she was...I loved those days! Reminiscing...

This is to adjust with his movie role.
At least he is not out for good. But yes it better be good
