Ah now this was a rather interesting episode to watch.

The story didnt progress one bit but I think someone somewhere in Creativeland of IPKKND has woken up after their LONG hybernation period and found the show in tatters!!!

So what we got today might be some sort of damage control. Everything packed into one episode.

Audience asks we deliver kinda.

Thankfully this night has an end!!! The entire neighborhood mob squad shows up to attack and then sees the new rich damadji and turn away all so cutely.LOL Hai this is desh for you...and this really does happen i can tell you very sweet to see that they are understanding and well one person's daughter and son-in-law is the entire neighborhoods daughter and son-in-law. I love and miss these small small things about India!

Khushi is annoyed with Arnie. I think it is okay for her to be annoyed since the boy is being very Bratty and he needs to realize that money can buy you everything but not love and for that realization to happen she needs to act the way she is acting. A little OTT but then who isnt a drama queen these days no? Agreed no one is doing this much nautanki realistically but fine its Khushi Kumari Gupta...this is somehow expected of her now. If she behaves normally all quite and sober I might actually think something is wrong with her!

Arnie Arnie Arnie...i shake my head and smile because the boy is a wuss! He made the decision that he would sleep on the bed and is freaking petrified of sleeping next to her so he makes the "Arnav Rekha" LOL I would have thought Khushi would make the rekha but nope...in this case lover boy here knows lady love is too close and if he doesnt draw a line he himself might cross it...yup this is ASR thinking with his mind and what exactly happens the next morning? Even after shes harassed him all night long kicking and moving he CANNOT resist her!!! Yup the heart takes over the mind...Arnav makes a brief comeback and the boy is mermerized as always! Ah glimpses of the past are starting to show thru...the love is coming back!!! AMEN to that!

Barun still sounds like he is stuffy and looks kinda off in some shots but he still delivers! The way he looks for her and asks her where she is going as she walks away to the other side of the bed was very ...cute! Then when he says yes your side of the bed how can it be quite...that dialogue was well written!

One thing i did catch though didnt Arnie say yesterday he slept on the left side? Why did he sleep on the right side then? Ok logic go on your break will you this is a desi soap it doent all have to make sense...Satyanash!

So now audience is wondering they shared a bed ...Arnie ko Kuch kuch hua...Rabba ve was shot well...what else do we try to make this Friday more exciting???

Everyone in Creative lala land all scratching head...EUREKA Moment!!!

Lets get the boy to strip from his jogging wear...BTW wasnt he hot indoors??? Isnt it summer so why the Adidas track suit??? Oh well whatever lets make him take it off and exercise in an Akhada! Thankfully Barun has been working out a lot because his arms looked fantastic! Awkward scene setting and all but BS and SI were great and this time it was Khushi's turn to feel something!

And nope ASR isnt dead yet...he revives himself because we definately see him in the next shot...ASR's background track is back too and man it makes the entire ASR moment come alive! ASR/Arnav/Arnie/BS OMG...wet hair and all was a total hottie! Drop dead gorgeous if i may say so myself!

The thing that confused me...didnt Arnie shower exactly at 8??? Maybe this is the domesticated on holiday Arnie's schedule...whatevah!

SO back they come home and wer back in the bathroom harassment mode! Yup this is what we are left with kya hoga Arnie ka monday ko? Will he go completely insane on Khushi and blurt out something he should have told her like 3 months ago??? I hope...BUT...Who...knows...on a brighter note Khushi did get new night wear...I agree with everyone that her night clothes are better than her day clothes...she actually looked charming!!! The hair was still a weirded out mess with the hairpiece braided into a choti but it was better than it overflowing all over her!

Special mention for Babbling Babli though...today i felt bad for the child when Manorama called her Manorama Jr...ayi ayi ayi no one should be called that! And her face was priceless...lol

No Bakri today either...I have come to a conclusion...if Bakri Alert happens that means the episode is going to suck!

Ok the Mantra's are working a tad slow...but working...

Overall a fairly great episode but my hopes are leveled off now and I plan on watching more of how the Creatives turn this around! I think thats become my thing now...how can they fix this all. Atleast it wasnt too disappointing a Friday and a lot of the ranting and venting was addressed this week where the clothes were changed some, time was fast forwarded and bs shaved!

OK... So me and some girlfriends got together at a friends place for some friday night gossip and decided to show off indian soaps to the non-desi among us. And thus began the woot-woot moment.

So we watched the 8:00 PM telecast of the show here. On a 60 inch screen. Can I just say, the akhada scene... Dayyyammm. I didn't realise how much the effect was lost watching on YT. The rabba-ve from the morning scene was much more powerful that way,too.

I have a thing about brown eyes (hubby's 😳). And those brown eyes on 60 inch...Dayyammm... Those doley, sholey 😕...Jamba, you are so right, they seemed to pop out of nowhere. Surely weren't there a couple weeks ago.

And that background score .. ASR tune mixed with dhols ...absolutely awesome on dolby. ⭐️Did i say dayyyamm already??

Did I mention there was wine involved?

The non-desi friends went crazy when he started those movements with the belan thingys (what are they really called?) and some desi ones totally had a don't-be-drooling-on-our-men moment. Total friday girls fun. And honestly a scene that was just meh for me when I saw it earlier in the day became a total paisa-vasool , seethi maar moment . Ah, the joys of wine and good company.🥳

OK. Now that I have that out the way.

Sush, true, absolutely loved Khushi with chotti. But she was back with the ghosla next morning. 😭 And I thought there was something majorly fishy about the kicking around as well. Will we see Arnie getting back in his own way? Isn't the tit-for-tat more fun when he is playing the game too?

I liked the arguing over the side of the bed. @Sari, You are right. He will let her get away with only so much. A raise of the eyebrow over the "Arnavrekha" , a total ASR look over the "bechare chotte" and completely hard stand on which side he gets.

Khushi, you need him on that side. Trust me, it works out for the best.

Him waking up to find her clutching her shirt was a awww moment. Such a sucker for when they bring up how things used to be. The morning rabba-ve worked but not there yet. can we have staring for a little while longer , please? No looking away so soon. Meditate. Let the world melt away. The awkward conversation and again a subtle reminder of the truth of their marriage and reflection. WTH was that all these weeks?😡

The akhada scene, other than the woot, woot factor, was good because they brought ASR back without the mean, a big fight or the googly from last week. And a Khushi who is actually affected and flustered by the man who makes her go dhak-dhak... finally it is, Sush!!!! Perfect way to end a week which has been emminently more watchable than anything they had shown since holi.

Totally ignored the bathroom sequence .

Now going to go back and catch up on what the rest had to say.

Last but not least CVs have proved 3rd time is a charm. If I haven't lost count this is the third time of Arnav without shirt. First time did not impress much as the story telling was bad. Second time, the popular view was he is too skinny. But, finally safe to say 90% of the forum is floored...

Of course it's too good to last and annoying Khushi had to return. I think he deserves every bit of annoyance coming his way,but again she puts her generous and proud family in the awkward position of feeling bad about inconveniencing their damaad who is used to a life of priviledge. I have no patience for this sort of bratty and inconsiderate behavior in the name of teaching the arrogant pati a lesson. 😡

Of course the bathroom scene nicely sets up more cute but toothless rabba ves. Lakshmi Nagar's power cuts have robbed even the while you were sleeping moments of electricity. the bed hog scene played for laughs and even the morning after didn't generate heat. I'd hoped that sharing a bed will bring the spine tingling encounters back, but I fear we've lost them forever. 😭

Spine tingling??? They didn't even show a ASR affected by her climbing all over him. He just cooly kept pushing her away... SP-fication, I tell you.

He happened to glance over as I was drooling over the Sobti kasrat show and then watched with me the scene where Arnav pours water over his head and shakes the water out of his hair. The hubby looked at me in complete disbelief and said : "Is this what macho heterosexual heroes do on Indian TV soaps?" I was justifiably proud about acknowledging that the predominantly female audience needs their eye candy and why should men have all the fun enjoying sex objects in items songs about chikni chameli and ahem... shiela? The pati's parting shot --- should I now stand before you every morning after my shower and shake the water out of my wet hair? Both of us doubled up with laughter at that image 😆 . It's a brave new world, spice girls and how fun is that? 😛

Yes...Mr. Hottie Singh Raizada seems like the perfect catch..barring his temper...

I laughed my head off at the bed scene...Sush, my cousin sister, who's a Mom to two kids rolls around in her sleep like that, and even kicks in her sleep 😆...so I actually found Khushi not pretending, but really doing it in her sleep.

It was very funny and I rewatched it so many times, also because of Arnav's reaction.

The only thing...would have loved it had they shown that ending scene longer, with more attraction apparent from Arnie's side, when he sees her hand on his collar...a bunch of us friends were joking that Arnie has become a hermit and we were disappointed to see only irritation and a chaste Rabba Vey at the end 😆

The Akhada scene...boy! He impressed and stunned his wife into silence with the showcase of How to Become Mr. Olympia 😆

He looked sizzling hot and I was very happy to see Khushi ogling at him and being very much affected by him...😳

The last few minutes...hmmm. Khushi got on my nerves, making me cringe, and I actually forwarded that part...I hope on Monday they show some meaty scene...not holding my breath on that one though!

All in all, an enjoyable episode...

Did you read the latest spoiler by Mishti? Arnav will tell Khushi the reason behind marrying her!
