You seriously made me re-think this episode. So are you saying that contrary to popular opinion, ASR was not acting out of the purity of the motives that Anjali ascribed him? In fact, are you saying that he hurt Khushi by saying he was faking because he wanted to keep her in the light of being a "conniving and bad person" faking in front of her family so that one day when he has to reveal her in front of anjali that is the face Anjali and the family sees?

Are you also saying that Arnav's real realization comes later when looking at the mirror and that is when he feels bad about what he did with Khushi by telling her he was just faking and therefore undermining her efforts?

That is fascinating and actually falls into the pattern that anytime Khushi has made a gesture of coming towards ASR in a way that is soft or loving, something in him tries to make her hate him.

I too though that in no way asr was saying those things to khushi just so that she would not feel bad. it makes no sense because in order to protect her from one guilt he then brings a whole other type of pain and embarassment to her. Your reading is keeping in line with his personality.

His realization comes later then in the mirror of one more hurt he has given khushi?

At the end of it, kushi was also wrong in many circumstances.

See without any of her guilrt monologues, a little more love coming out unconsciously, without all these enjoying an ArHi scene is very tough .

These days i have been chanting this daily, im getting bored chanting this.

M not feeling her part of love and care much, yes i do not expect her to be good to Arnav and all , i know she has gone through alot, but even Arnav has gone through quiet alot thinking she is the one created havoc in his sister's life and also shattered his dreams and happiness, yet u can so well read his love and care for her even when their is so much hate around..

Even the taking care of Arnav part dint work me at all, im being honest here.

The bedroom scene could have been lot better in all terms, standing near wall and drowsing, and on to the face early morg act, sanding in kitchen and snoring..

I dint see that fear in her of him being harmed because of her actions.

Now with him declining that she was nt at fault, i shred to wonder this swami act.

@ doods, good analysis, what you have mentioned about payash and mami behavior, i also mind that, as whatever mami do in front of elders is still bad but insulting in front of a kid is the worst thing to do. a 9 year old child telling a man is admirable can't be digest either and payash telling each other through scrabble cute and about love is some thing not considered good. they have their room for discussing such things.

khushi's swami drama is going to be played in next weak as well and again max forum members will be cursing her. what she can do when the writer himself told that she is weird and that's what attract arnav towards her.

i assume that they read this thread that's y they have changed the story line within 2 days last time so they should atleast present the khushi which we were use to of watching from the beginning, the caring and senstive. what arnav feel they shows but what khsuhi feels they don't show as a result i can see a number of bashing post against her and admiring arnav. i mean all the fault belongs to writers and cvs then y they don't complaint them and keep on bashing character. i like this thread coz of the positive criticism as there is a difference between bashing and the positive criticism, the next one always brings improvement and should stay there.

i wonder where is satay today, i m going somewhere and i don't know when i'll pop up here again

Will join you all in around in 20 minutes. Till then just wanted to say, I COMPLETELY agree with you, they need Bring Mr. V aka Villain in and get rid of Miss B...Cos to me the effort that goes in for writing that kiddo's scenes, the effort can be made for Khushi or even Payash as siblings.

Shyam should be hovering over both Arnav and Khushi like the annoying fly you want to squat.

He should be trying to create more gap between Arnav and Khushi and targeting them individually. MIND GAMES...That is what we want especially with Shyam and Arnav.

Arnav needs to witness atleast one scene where Shyam and Payal interact and see Payal who is one of the nicest person, respectful, being absolutely rude to him...And go why is Payal like that about him.

Even the sisters convo...First misunderstanding that the sisters are bashing him and finally hearing the one sentence from either Payal or Khushi, If Anjali was not pregnant, they would have told what a creep her hubby is.

There needs to be more such scenes where Arnav gets confused and not the ones we see ki how much he loves her*yawn, WE KNOW THAT*, Grrr

I am incredibly grateful to Gul for creating Arnav and Zooming in on Barun to play that role, Now concentrate on the female lead will ya?

@doods-this is the song which has been replaying in my mind every time I think of these two.this is the male version of the song from the movie"anamika".Excellent analysis doods.

To be honest,the first time I saw the episode,I was confused .I didn't understand the head or tail of it.Arnav's expressions were conflicting with his words.anjali's dialogues didn't make sense with the whole scheme of things.I had recorded the episode ,so went back after the house was quiet to solve the puzzle.usually I come to the thread to get my facts right.but the the thread was late in it's appearance.I went about the analysis and then realized that it was Arnav's inner conflict which was potrayed onscreen.
The first time I saw it told me all about getting Khushi under control .the second time it told me that arnav was using "reverse psychology .the third time it told me that he is in conflict within himself about his so called hate warring with his feeling love for Khushi.the last time I saw it ,I saw the guilt on Arnav's face when he realised that he was trampling all the geninue concern that his wife was showing for him.after all this ,I was
baffled at how Anjali came with her interpretation of Arnav's behavior .then "dragonfly" made me realize
that it was a sister's interpretation which would be obviously different frOm the way a wife perceives
her husband or vice versa.It was brilliant acting by all the three leads.

The sadness,bafflement
and the sense of desolation seen on Khushi's face are really the aspects on which the cv's need to work
on.I also loved Khushi for bouncing back and going back to her swami act.Shyam is back.the flavours
of ipkknd is being put back in slowly.the cv's have started cooking the mixture and hope they don't over
or undercook it as this show has immense potential.
One last thing,I feel that shyam's influence on
Anjali has been grossly underestimated by the audience.don't u think so too doods?

After a long time I did like friday's epi. Once again we got to see another side of Arnav..that guy is really layered but that is what makes him an interesting character. His feelings were brillantly portrayed by barun, kudos to him.
I for one am loving the return of the brother-sister's duo...their relationship is very touching, I love these tibits to their childhood. I'm looking forward to more scenes of them...

I still wonder about the necessity of bringing Ms B. into the show 😕 It seems she's somewhat possessive over Aakash but will that prove to be trouble between Payash? Well I have doubts...Like we saw maami is more than enough for that. She didn't even hesitate to drag a child into her 'hate Payal' fanclub...the way she did that was rather despicable by the way... Didn't expect maami to stoop to such antics...

Now I'm not at all fond of that Swami business but I do understand why she's doing it...after facing another deception at Arnav's hands, she's retaliating by using what to her work best on him...I am however disappointed that CVs didn't use this opportunity to show us some growth in her...

I fully agree with Shwetha and Ankifan here. While I liked the epi, it was once again focused on Arnav...I see no growth in Khushi and I find it harder to relate to her as days go on...Something is missing. This is supposed to be her story also and I fail to really feel/understand her, feel her pain, feel her confusion, feel her hidden love, feel her frustration etc. ... I fail to see the nuances. Most of the times she's her chirpy self merrily happy (genuinely it seems) to annoy Arnav...where is the depth? A girl having gone through what she has gone through is bound to mature up, to sit and ponder on what has gone on in her life...where have things turned wrong? When? Why? Is there something she did wrong?...

I do feel that they didn't think out Khushi's character...I'm tired of that chirpiness. Khushi is one of the lead! I feel it's high time for them to show us her side of the story...CVs please open a window in her mind/feelings and show us some character growth...
