Loved your post. And love the new slogan "sannu ki"!!! I think I am going to follow that war cry, it will certainly mean less heartache as I am so tired of feeling bad after watching the episodes lately.

Yes, the show is gone. One of the post mentioned that Gopi's character on SNS is consistent. If the same writer (Hegde?) is also writing IPKKND episode, then why are they butchering characters here?!😡 It is hard to believe that the same show a month ago used to make me impatient for each new episode and after watching the show, I would be lost in the intensity of it. These days, I feel meh. I watch if I have time. I frankly have more fun reading funny posts of IF such as yours.

OK, let me repeat to myself before I get high BP - "sannu ki"? Feeling calmer ...

a) Personal view 1: Sannu Ki😆

When this production house itself does not take it seriously...sannu ki🤣...why the cares the JW about the stories the characters or even the tracks. Thank you Creatives for the time to time joke on yourself. It just makes it it that much more easier to forget

It's not about the characters, their development or their execution anymore. It is about a certain vision being blurred resulting in lack of a storyline. They can blame this lackluster, non-existent track on the IPL series...but the fact remains, there is no story at this point. And if there is, they are extremely ineffective in making the audience understand. Gul, really, was this your vision???

Mom watches Maryada and its very much on track...So are Sasuraal Genda Phool and if I am not mistaken 9yes some of my family members do watch it on and off) Saath Nibhana Sathiya...In the same band Sony shows are progressing well...I went to check a couple of updates and the show about Toasty and the BT shows are on track

So IPL is no excuse😳😳...in any case if anyone has followed IPL from season 1 would know that it no longer grabs the attention the first season did. As we have seen time and again they twist and turn the genres week to week and episode to episode...and thats not helping

b) Personal view 2: Gopi bhi kabhi Khushi thi

Tuesday has made Star Plus telematic history. In a few scenes Khushi has enlightened us what a wonder Gopi Vahu she could have made. For once the new Gopi smiled, laughed and did things that Gautam or whoever is the common writer could not get her to do on SNS. Hurray!😃

My thought exactly - why would you want to mock another TRP garnering show?? Not that i am a fan, but it was done in bad taste.

Thank you Renu😊, for reaffirming this...no matter what the intent, promotion or parody...it was done in bad taste.

c) Personal view 3: AKash and Payal are the couple😃

Was facilitating the entry of Ms. B the purpose of these characters cuz i haven't seen any other so far. Can they develop these characters? Do you think it will make any dent to the story whether these two remain or not??

The problem I feel Renu is twofold...1) these two characters don't have a defined character board...for example Mami has a better track...and 2) and there is no offense meant in saying this...we need both of them to be more spunky and in the game for want of a better word. Akshay is still Ok...his scenes with Barun are good...but Deepali needs to pull up the sleeves...That is not a negative feedback...all actors need some help and training😊 so there is nothing wrong in learning new skills...If you give these two a better track and help them maybe with rehearsals or better training, am sure it will be a nice jodi to watch...On a side note, Deepali actually is very pretty ...and has beautiful eyes😳

d) Personal view 4: Khushi is the new Star Plus soch

She is multi talented (tiffing, cooking, tuition and detective agency to name a few)😆😆. IPPKND is her training ground. So that Star Plus can then add her in any comedy, tutorial, detective, news based or tragedy show. Wow this was the Rishta wohi Soch Nayi...and phukat mein I was wondering this has got anything to do with self respectand enpowerment😆😆😆

I repeat my question again -- Gul, really, was this your vision??

Any woman who thinks that after being dragged around, abused and manipulated the reaction one should have is 101 reasons...or pull shoes or sneeze around...or fast or perform rituals superstitiously for husband to show devotion...that is not a relatable vision to me

e) Personal view 5: Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti are truly talented

Koi shak😆😆...how else can the lowest of the low conceptualised scenes be still made to look a bit palatable. Phew I really dont know now whether to feel happy that they are in this show or on a personal level to feel sad that if this continues...if this continues...they will be remembered as leads in one more utterly forgettable venture

Can't say this enough times. Please don't waste their talent on such mindless scripts. They are brilliant, bring out the best in each other, and deserve more for what they have to offer.

f) Personal view 6: Most Indian shows never believe in the women respect they so gloat about

I dont know about the actresses here, but frankly if this is the projection of women and what they must do in the face of crisis then its sad, on the double because aparantly a woman heads this. Not one woman here is even remotely interested in any kind of meaningful venture. It is showcased as comic ventures to divorce a much disliked spouse (ermmmn...heard lawyers and compatibilty issues anyone?) or in just blindly worshiping the spouse, or cut assorted veggies and take part in assorted events to be a good daughter in law😆

If they had stuck to her original "envisioned" characterization, I for one would have enjoyed watching her tackle the crisis and beat him at his own game...and while we do get momentary glimpses of that Khushi ...they are too far and in between and get replaced by Khopi before we know it.

Exactly, Khushi was spunk and had grace...this comic interludes is not helping

g) Personal view 7: Star Plus itself does not believe in its shows

For the first time today I felt bad for Saath Nibhana Sathiya and Gopi Vahu. Whether it is good or not is not material. But by fooling around with it, Star Plus discredited the very serial that put it as a TRP no 1 runner for more than a year.

Whoever thought of this joke...sad, crude and in bad sportsmanship

h) Personal view 8: When CVs are not bothered about the lead heroines character, why fret and argue.

Despite the feedback (and it does not matter whether you like Khushi or not as whichever side you are the feedback has been consistent that her role needs to be focused on and the character flip flop is not helping; the Creatives continue with the flip flop. We saw Khushi on Friday...broken aand hurt...then we see her on Monday...cheerfully (for most time) leading a group of 9-10 year old posing as 3-4 years😆😆...and then we see her today ...in multiple variations of stand up comedy. So again when she does not take herself seriously (note her own dialogue today) when you the Creatives and makers dont take her seriously...to why the tension and fretting...sannu ki😆😆

Lage raho Creatives as you guys certainly have the last laugh here...reminds me of a saying..."two monkeys fight over a pot of cream, and someone else steals the cream"😆😆😆

i) Personal View 9: Barun Sobti is "attractive", but even more attractive is his acting

You are very attractive Mr Sobti (every still shot on that sofa speaks for itself)...at least to me...and you can act and how...Be it each emotionally invested scenes, each gesture, each look of those vocal eyes... Now its not your fault if the standard operating procedure manual for most TV heroes is called "hamming" and "OTT". Me likes grace and subtelity and urbane charm...and you have truckloads of it

His talent makes him more attractive as a looker!!

j) Personal View 10: ASR is ASR, Arnav is Arnav

I left this as point j as my ID starts with a J...😛...childish naa😆😆

Friday ends with ASR in a terrible mode which turns to emotional...Monday carried the reflection whether he is the shaitaan and the assurance that Khushi is around...and today his focus is once again on two of his reasons to live...the care for his sister and the heartbeat for Khushi (despite the comedy in return)...ASR is still ASR...the sense, the purpose, the anchor...and Arnav is still Arnav ...the comforting pillar of strenght and the man in love

For me the de facto and de jure raison-de-etre for this show...Thank you Barun...for making it even remotely worthwhile

And as to the last wardrobe scene...no Creatives ...sorry😆😆...your errmmm childish attempt at invoking laughs failed😛...because me thinks ASR looked red hot in the red hot shirt😃😃

This has been the flimsiest MU track ever that I have come across. Forget dragging, they are not even addressing it. We get these sporadic flash backs of the terrace scene or a romantic moment, or camouflaged confessions and then -- boom -- back to chillar party, dabba service and khopi. They have taken so many detours from their chosen path that i worry if they will ever be able to find their way back. And even if they do, if there will be enough audience still waiting on the side-walk to cheer them on!!!

I for one am already in the indifferent basket...I nethier dislike nor overly like the show ...yes there are flashes of brilliance (largely due to ASR) when I feel connected and thouroughly like the episode like the Friday ...but largely it does not interest me as an everyday serial...I am not fretting because that is my nature😃...after a point its just a TV show ...the only people I feel disheartened for now is Sanaya and Barun...they deserve a better deal than what is being dished out.

the epi didnt click for me...but hats off to barun&sanaya for pulling off the most absurd scenes with elan...if u take the comedy alone it was good but not at this point in the show...

we always wanted anjali to have a convo with khushi about what makes ASR the person he is...well it happened today but khushi turned it around into a means of irritating him...thought she was past that stage!!

No why would I laugh, my mother watches it too and a few of my family members...SNS has its own charm and there is not appropriate to criticise people who watch it...they may think IPPKND is silly...so to each its own...what one cannot deny that despite lack of publicity in initial stages, despite no established or famous actor SNS reached the top of the ladder...whether we like it or not...thats the simple truth😊

She has been designed to look like that and she is true to her characterization.

And IMO she never would dare to change and throw her hubbie's outfits out like that.

Nice couple, I would rather watch them, they dont fake, they dont manipulate each other, they are consistent and Payal is not OTT.

That was Khushi and her ideas JW, they just took pallu on head act from Gopi😃

SPOT ON...You know I read the updates...Aparantly Gopi actually is turning to be quite mature and sensible and is quietly turning the tables on her sister...plus lot of story lines happening in SNS...so yes am sure Gopi is not doing what the parody did.

And if they had to promote SNS there could have been a better way of doing this rather than make fun of Gopi...Wonder how the SNS team and fans are not disapproving?

Hats off to him.. And its a shame that they are using his popularity this way, what a waste of talent .. Stripping to cover up OTT tracks..

Hmmn today the scene was still less offending as it was still in some context...but yes you know my thoughts...I find Barun more attractive in his suits and casual tees...and agree that we really dont need to see him shirtless...he is attractive any which ways

Sanaya is such a good actress, i dono how she feels while doing such scenes coz i remember her saying it in a interview that they need to tone down Kushi's characterization while december kushi's OTT ness was shown..

WHAT!! even Sanaya feels that...Thank God...am proud of her yaar...actaully I started wathing this serial after I saw her and I feel she is a very good actress. I feel bad for her that she has to put up with such illogical tracks...so even the actors know that whats being shown is not upto the mark...sad

about Khushi you can forget it that she will ever grow up and the comedy was not that bad.

The end was what I did not like, why mess with his wardrobe, even though some how he manage to pull of that bright red or shocking pink shirt.
