EDITED ON 19/04 SCROLL DOWN

Six Feet from The Edge and Thinking..

I love to see positivity (in the forum) and progress (in the show)

BUT all I see is hopeful viewers who are maintaining an upper hand with utmost faith and a least bit progression from the show.

Yes 'tiny baby steps' for me is not progression ' where is the clear underlying message ' two months and can any of us say with utmost proof that the character's have built on strongly???

Bringing them to stay in the same room and breathe the same air that once ASR found disgusting is one tiny baby step ' again it tested a lot of people's patience.

Confessing about heartbeats and totally rubbishing it ' not progression. We felt our hearts melt and slammed.

Khushi being Arnav's voice and the whole hoopla with the business deal ' what happened ' did ASR give it a second thought? NO he just ended it with ' NO CREDIT ' Khushi isn't a banniya ki dukkan ' NO CREDIT ONLY CASH.

Please give us another dialogue ' perhaps ' mujhe pata nahi tum yeh sab kyon kar rahi ho ? tum kya jatana chahti ho? (I don't know ' but something that doesn't get stuck in our throats)

When they can fast forward through ASR REALIZING HIS LOVE, READY TO CONFESS, FINDS OUT ABOUT SHYAM AND KHUSHI, MISUNDERSTANDS KHUSHI, CRIES IN PAIN, CONFRONTS SHYAAM, DECIDES TO MARRY KHUSHI, FORCES KHUSHI, MARRIES HER AND GIVES SHYAM THE "IN YOUR FACE" LOOK AND "STAY AWAY" TALK IN A MATTER OF A WEEKS EPISODES

THEN why oh good god cant they give us a little hope to hang on to?

Does an audience without access to IF understand the hidden messages that all you lovely people post?? ' PLEASE PONDER OVER THIS.

I am not going to talk about character assassination - for me there has been none - but I am only going to say that it's been stagnant for a very long time and we all know what happens when there is stillness ' the layer of filth that tops it up can be hazardous.

MY state of mind is just like this wonderful song by 'CREED' ' 'SIX FEET FROM THE EDGE' ' The lyrics sum up what i feel '

Hold me now
I'm 6 feet from the edge
And I'm thinkin
Maybe 6 feet ain't so far down

I am really sorry if this post is hurtful for some, but for me this is the truth. It's not just another rant.

I love reading everyone's take on it and to be honest i do change my opinions very often than not about an episode.

Please do share absolutely anything.

EDIT - 19th April 2012

The shadows of MU still lurking around, the hate - marriage track still going strong, rabba-ve now is just another song...

So yesterday my mind had a slight conflict, whether i liked the episode or not, (yes surprise surprise i still watch it) Cos Arnav trusting Khushi to guide him through the rangoli was pretty nice... then came the GH - i was looking forward to Arnav seeing what hospitality and genuine affection is. BUT WHEN IT REACHED A LEVEL OF OVER THE TOP DRAMA I COULD DROWN MYSELF.

But nonetheless i still thought ya it's good, khushi just did the "bland food" act to irk him. So i happily logged on to IF. then there was a downtrodden out-pour of how the episode was shredded to meaningless thoughts.

My belief of liking the episode came crashing down.

Previously i had written that if someone finds the episode really bad and logs on to IF and reads all the good things, he/she might change her mind.

But the exact opposite happened - me liked - me logged on - me hated.

THE POINT HERE AGAIN IS

WHY isn't there a clear progression, why do i have to read on and find something NICE to like the episode? Subtle hints DON'T WORK, Hidden meanings - DON'T WORK, Symbolic Inferences DON'T WORK - if they can show OTT comedy then they can show OTT building of trust as well, NOT JUST SMALL CUTE MOMENTS OF THE RANGOLI DANCE.

GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAKKK.

Please do leave your comments.

Lovely post Gitika!

Loved what you've written...

Today was the height of it all. They are hellbent on dragging and dragging this track.

I do not really see any progress, unless they show Arnav doubting the MU.

There is no point in showing Arnav seeing Khushi fretting over him, caring for him etc etc, if they keep showing him reverting to the reset buttton.

These days I have stopped relishing their cute scenes together, what's the use?

And you are so right...when they want, they show speedy tracks - like the Payash wedding getting fixed, Arnav marrying Khushi...but when it suits them, they stretch each and every week.

I do not see what this week's episodes accomplished at all.

Khushi is chattering away, bumbling away, merry and happy, despite being in such a serious predicament and knowing something is seriously wrong.

Arnav got to see her caring nature and her concern for him, yet he behaved like a jerk to her at the end of today's episode and made a fool out of her, once in public and back at home as well.

Seriously...I have no hope left.

Great post. Have you seen 50 first dates - the movie? Where Drew Barrymores character 's memory gets rests evey 24 hours that's what's happening in IPKKND and cv's think we have the same illness

I am not sure what the CVs are trying to tell us.
The signal is very weak and my antenna is tired of looking for stronger signals. When that happens you switch off your phone or change your service provider.

CVs have taken an oath to do everything within their power to turn off viewers. Like someone commented on my other thread, CVs are trying to entertain 5 to 105 year olds. With that kind of outreach and spreading themselves sooo thin, where is the hope of seeing a single logical progression?

Every episode is a standalone episode. There are no links to past or future episodes. A theme is picked for a day, brought forth and forgotten the next day. Most shows pick a central theme they follow for a few weeks before they drop it or close it. CVs picked MU as a central theme, but is this really an excruciatingly painful MU for the leads? Not from what I am seeing. Arnav is palpably enjoying khushi's discomfort like a patronizing grandpa and Khushi is obviously indulging her inner child into many antics much to the delight of the rest of the family. Everyone seems to be at peace (with occasional bouts of terrace scene). The only one stewing is Shyam. So, tell me, is this really a painful MU for anyone?

CVs idea of painful MU is abuse not pain. Tsk tsk tsk.

Phew what are we doing here , CV's are making us run around in circles and we are following them. This ASR's blow hot blow cold attitude should change. Despite all he has done Kushi is genuinely taking care of him the least he could do is appreciate her like any human being would. Sigh here we go rant and rant but nothing happening. Where was trust build up in todays episode?? And why did she say SORRY for?? He should have been the one telling it not HER

The funny streak in me is dying because the show seems to upset me.

SJ i think i am going to drown myself in Anjali's tears soon and go hug Shyaam and tell him thanks for the consistency dude. - you have been frantically attempting and succeeding in moving your story forward atleast.

About the No signal - that's a very strong point i wanted to bring out - i seem to hardly understand the hidden meanings till i don't read 100s of posts justifying each and every move.
I am sure the day is not far when people will post about the hidden meaning behind the position of ASR's recliner and the reason why the distance between the cupboard and the bed is 3ft.
Good God.

Good one gitika.. You nailed my feelings with your post..

I for one, feel as if I am in a perpetual roller-coaster.. with more deep dives than highs.. 😔

I personally had issues with yesterday's episode, but kind of started accepting it, thanks to quite a few forum wasis, who pointed out the "progress made" thanks to Khushi's detective prowess. And I truly started to believe that yes, for ASR to start and understand Khushi, probably a few such episodes need to be there, 'cos trust needs to be built and that it needs to be built from scratch. I had accepted all that and came with a very positive frame of mind to watch today's happenings.. and at the very end.. the thud with which I fell down is still resonating in my ears and hurting my rear end 😭

They build up for a week by showing a flame of some positivity and progress and at the end of the week, they extinguish the flame.. as if they need to turn off the lights before going home for the weekend😔 and we are left where we were before, confused, depressed, trying to search for vague clues in the darkness, and our mental state firmly yet again on the roller-coaster spiralling down

Sorry that was a long one.. I guess had a lot to vent out..
