After a long haul of kitchen politics, after endlessly excruciating comedy tracks with fancy dress,if you please, may be,just maybe the MU will get cleared assuming asr develops or rediscovers his brains amongst his potted plants!!

Wait a sec, do I hear the CVs crying out 'THEN WHAT'??

Great post.. You nailed my feelings exactly..

Does an audience without access to IF understand the hidden messages that all you lovely people post?? ' PLEASE PONDER OVER THIS.

This is what I was thinking.. though disappointed by episode, I will be checking each and every post in IF or in FB to get some positivism. We have very good writers here, who analyses each and every second of episode with positive analysis.. so many predictions, symbolism.. Still many times I feel like this is the limit.. I do not have any hope left now.. I am watching episodes like I watch 'Adalat' or 'CID' .. Every one or two episodes with a new story..

Thank you :)
See there is direct symbolism and then there are hidden meanings - and the way the scriptwriters function i dont see they use much of what they have.

People here dig in deep and take out symbolic inferences from just about anything and at the end it doesnt make sense to me because i am sure the CVs havent thought about it themselves.

For instance - i read a symbolic inference by one of the co-members, which stated that when Khushi was done cleaning the room she says "if you find any dirt around then my name is not KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA SINGH RAIZADA" and instantly the cd rack falls and the pot breaks spilling out mud. Does it symbolise that in future she will have to drop the singh raizada from her name and the marriage will break.

I am no Einstein but this is really not how i look at an episode.
For me a review is solely based on what we saw as a 'whole'

Everyday I rely totally on the wonderful posts made here on IF before even watching the epi to brace myself for what is to come. These posts have become a crutch that I use to walk through the epi when I finally get to see it here 4 and half hours after it is aired in India.
And then I have to go back again to the posts, both the old ones and the new ones in order to make sense of what I've seen as I clearly do not have the brains to get either the point the cvs are trying to make or how the epis are connected to each other and the story. And then I try hanging on to every bit of psositivity I can glean from them till the next epi. Sometimes, I wonder if I would watch this show if it were not for the posts which are like beacons in the dark morass the show is slowly becoming.

To be honest for me the posts on this forum are now the raison de etre for watching the show rather than the show itself.

I'm still trying to figure out what this week was all about, though I have to confess Wednesday's epi had me laughing my head off, but then my logical self tells me- yes, it was great fun, but where did it take the story? ASR yo-yoing between softening and hardening, while KKG yo-yoing between buffonery and despair is getting very tedious and exhausting. The snake and to maami seem to be the two constants in the show. I'm beginning to question my own sanity in wanting to sit on this emotional seesaw everyday despite the queasiness it leaves me with afterwards. The cvs take us half a step forward only to pull us back 20 steps.

But then how could there be any progression? There is no real story- just an MU based on the flimsiest of evidences and the promise of a happily ever after- and if they showed the MU ending there would nothing left ot show. As I said in an earlier post, the whole premise seems to be to keep the lovers close enough to keep the viewers salivating for more yet keeping them separate enough to keep the viewers in eternal hope for the happy ending. Meanwhile, plot, logic, story, consistency can fly out of the window.

What gets me is how could an intelligent bunch of people like us (and I am not being facetious or cute here- the amazing analyses and creativity I've seen in this forum are more than testimony to this fact) have fallen for this trivialest of stories? And worse we've seen through it and yet can't seem to get off the seesaw.

All I want is for this silly MU to end and get ASR and KKG to be involved in a real story anchored in their relationship but not focused on it, Something that gets them to work as a
team,
Methinks, ASR and KKG would be great as an Indian version of House and Cuddy, or Castle and Becket or Jane and his partner (just can't recollect her name, sorry), but you get the idea. Anything that is not just empty romance, something more cerebral. I ask too much, I know.

But looking on the bright side I can say with hand on heart, that the posts and the people who've made them have been a privilege to meet, albeit in the cyberspace. They have given me immensse pleasure with their insights, humour and sheer fun.

you know wednesday's episode made me a lil mushy and i dont feel sad about feeling that way. Cos i love "love" in any form - that's just who i am. But i was aghast by the sheer insensitivity in handling the "unspoken words" concept on thursday and friday.

@red YOU ARE BY NO MEANS ASKING FOR TOO MUCH -it's just about high time they gave us an intelligent story and not just still motions and mute emotions.

Well said!
The CVs should thank their lucky stars to have such a forgiving and loyal audience in us who despite being disappointed once too often continue to hope things will get better. They are treading on really thin ice here and there is only so much that brilliant leads and their crackling chemistry can do. This past week has shown that even that can go missing and for them to sizzle the story needs to make sense; a random rabba ve thrown at regular intervals is not going to cut it
I don't have a problem with the MU being dragged provided the episodes do not have characters doing volte-faces that make you go dizzy!

Thank you for the reply.
I don't mind them dragging the MU track but it's been pretty much stagnant since they got married - niether of them have moved towards knowing the truth - they are acting brain dead inspite of getting mammoth hints from each other.
The only consistency has been from Shyaam - well he has made his moves and motives clear.
He has a plan and he's moving on.
But is Shyaam our favorite character? Do we like to see his progression? Damnnn - 🤢

Cant disagree with you more...
I do analyse, I do access IF, but I still echo TM's views !
I would have appreciated if Arnav said something in the lines of" You can impress others in my family with your concern but not me... Because I know for a fact who u are"
I am actually glad, I got see so many frustrated viewers...it gives me pleasure to know I have company

😆...no probs...sometimes the roads diverge...to meet again...😉
My comment was taking into consideration viewers that are not computer savvy or should i say comp. addicted (like us all)..who dont have the advantage of so many shoulders to cry on..or dont have so many hands to hold...or to discuss...they just watch...make up their minds..if interesting ..watch it tomorrow..if not ..some other show..esentially these are the TRP deciders...
And about the frustrated viewers here...the way i look at it..why are we complaining..coz we want it to change...coz we are still ready to give it a chance...we still love it though...inspite of the disappointments...as the TM said...we are away from the brink...near but still not over it...we will forgive and forget once we get what we want...(just my pov)...the love for the show still shines through...through the frustrations..anger and negativity...and as long as there is love there is still hope...(cliched but true..😆)

CVs have taken an oath to do everything within their power to turn off viewers. Like someone commented on my other thread, CVs are trying to entertain 5 to 105 year olds. With that kind of outreach and spreading themselves sooo thin, where is the hope of seeing a single logical progression?

I thought that with changing themes of every week, the Cvs are waiting for the MU MahaE to actually push the track forward. but , now i am not sure. Even with the changing themes of episodes, there were some positives to read into, but with this week's Grade 5 Social class episode i have completely lost faith. I honestly think, they have nothing planned for the future and the "pleasing people" syndrome has kicked in.

Taking a look at the steady TRPs ( there wasnt a change in TRPs from Holi week to next week) tells me that this puzzle piece for all ages is going to continue. so, i dont think they are turning off the "average" viewer. They are only turning off the intelligent ones, typically, not contributing to the TRPs.

Honestly, IPK needs to pull itself together. Its sad that once intelligent story with key characters and established roles is reduced to the tales of Hans Christian Andersen.
