I know u needed it to wake up from the daze /slumber after seeing a yummylicious, delicicious, creamalicious, Barunlicious Arnav !! 😈...

The fight for Bathroom - 03/19/12 -03/20/12

After a Heavy , intense, steady , relentless warfare waged for the right of Bathroom Usage... CNN reports that Ms.Khushi Kumari Gupta - Singh Raizada won the battle purely based on her Singing abilities ... So off key and raucous was the Singing of Ms.Gupta-Singh Raizada , A quaking Mr Singh Raizada was left with no option other than to raise the white flag and surrender..

Just when one thought Arnav will be blackmailed into giving up on his ownership rights, The CV's surprised us by making him call her bluff ..Khushi Kumar Gupta might have forgotten but Arnav has a long Memory and he did remember Khushi's promise of never opening that Radio station to broadcast about the 6 month contract ** Tut, Tut ..bad Move Khushi**...But Khushi is the cat of loudest Alley where lung Power coupled with street smartness takes u way ahead ..She switches to Plan B forcing Arnav to give up with such an ill grace , seen to be believed ** Tanths Blows Raspberries at him for forcing us to listen to that extended La la La which truly sent your's truly to Lala Land ** ... I liked the continuity , again the subtle touch of the director ...Arnav comes in hot and sweaty from exercise..His hair limp and wet ...30 mins later the hair is dried, tousled and still wayward... Really liked this small touch ...That Brief RV .. showing that beneath that gruff exterior , there still beats a heart exclusively for Khushi...His immediate turnaround and accepting the conditions of Khushi without a murmur after being subjected to the dazzling display of her beauty ...wonderful to see it... BUT ..Khushi supposedly had a head bath ..why then was her hair partly wet only in the front [ her real hair] while the extensions that she attaches was driest of the dry !!..

The next brief moment that imprints on my mind was the tender and affectionate relationship between Payal and Khushi..Two sneezes and Payal gets concerned, it's not the OMG..Death is near concern of Anjali but a genuine, deeper concern of sister.. Loved it , loved the bond that exists between this sister ..Also loved the brief stolen look of Arnav replete with care for Khushi's well being... He cannot expose his inner emotions , He does not want her to know the chink ..yet he cannot stop himself from worrying...His brusque taking away off the curd from Khushi shows the love , concern and affection he has for her

Another Moment is that between Payal And Akash..when the time comes for drinking from the chalice of Poison Read Shyam's truth , Akash will willingly share the burden

MISSION Closet Capture

Anjali comes into Khushi's Bedroom... Khushi grabs this DM sent opportunity to further her ambitious agenda of fueling Arnav's irritation.. Under Anjali's Benevolent gaze, Khushi daringly raids Arnav's closet, occupies half the Closet by stuffing it with her personal things, emerges victorious from this campaign too ..while Arnav does not even get to lift a toe nail in protest against this sneaky attack !!

Arnav realizing the little game his petite wife was up to refuses to take part , His survival instinct on a roaring alert, he swiftly turns away from the girls , giving a uninterrupted display of his impassive back, Arnav turning once again to face the girls looking harassed as he listens to the drone of his sister as she bids Khushi to take charge of the closet ..His eyes sliding away from Khushi's when Anjali mentions that Khushi has come home to stay ..

Anjali slides open the closet , Khushi rushes to Anjali's side, protests demurely that she does not need the Closet.. The unsuspecting, Unwary Arnav Singh Raizada walks neatly into the trap of Khushi by saying that he had asked Khushi to arrange her things but ..Khushi innocently replies that he is there to remind her her silence implying she will do so now ...

I really loved this part , although Anjali choosing to go through Arnav's room to procure Tulsi [ Basil] and neem leaves from the poolside when there was a way already via hall is simply unfathomable ** Privacy do Bhai** ..Barun's expression's were completely hilarious..No dialogues yet he stamped his presence ..

The first scene I liked was Anjali saying that Khushi is here to stay and will not be leaving RM . Has the track changed cos Khushi is suddenly emphasizing 6 months while Anjali the de facto Goddess has said that Khushi will stay on...Khushi's will has always bent before Anjali's ..will it be so this time too...

The second scene was the Intrusion of the colors in Arnav's wardrobe..A ward robe which was full of darkness is being infused with vibrant colors and the color bringer is Khushi but the one who puts the colors in that closet is Anjali... An inference that Khushi will bring the much needed colors ** A fact I have been shouting since times immemorial ** into Arnav's bleak life ... The reverse holds true too... contact and entry into Arnav's world is not safe for Khushi ... while Colors of life has intruded Arnav's life ...Dark colors have obtruded into Khushi's world..If the introduction of Khushi into Arnav's life will bring joy into Arnav's life... Arnav's entry into Khushi's life has brought her close to peril ... but as can be seen..Arnav stood guard , always in front of her .. ..This simple mingling of two different world of colors was done under the Patronage and full concurrence of Anjali !!

Shyam is growing bolder day by day , His open advances are getting quite audacious, brazen and cocky ...Khushi saved herself once in the kitchen with her presence of mind but it will not be so easy as his obsession , his confidence increases... Two things got my attention in this segment ...One was the .. U got to come here !! n the other was closing of the eyes -unclosing of the eyes ..

Khushi is oiling Anjali's Hair, while Shyam is openly ogling at Khushi, his effrontery crossing the limits of decency..His trusting, deeply in love wife has her eyes closed, she does not know her husbands true colors, Shyam urges Anjali to close her eyes and an obedient Anjali does keep her eyes closed... Shyam getting bored of just gawking at Khushi, decides to have starter ... He approaches Khushi , offers tissues which are rejected by Khushi.. Anjali oblivious of the undercurrents urges Khushi to to accept the tissues , Khushi accepts Anjali's advise but not the source from whihc tissue is coming, she gets her own tissues, Shyam quickly intercepts Khushi's arms, his hand snaking in , trying to touch her...It is then Khushi has had enough ..She quickly yell out to Anjali, commands Anjali to open her eyes and pulls her out from her sleep ..

Shyam's saying that Khushi will always come back to RM strongly underlines that Khushi is the chosen one and nothing can and will change that destiny...At the same time we also get another hint that it will be Khushi who will be instrumental in waking Anjali to ground realities and stop Anjali's life from plunging into abyss by pulling her away from the brink in nick of time and this moment will come when Khushi's own safety will be in danger !!

Abhaas was really good in this segment ..I now feel that The track has begun to warm up ..Both Barun & Bhanot in roaring form and Abhaas revving the gears we are headed for one scintillating track ..All SI has to do is be the perfect foil which I am sure she will be..

Overall .>A darn Good Episode !!

Note to CV's

When U employ Body double make sure that guy does not have a patch on his hair ..

How come none of the RM wasis troop out to know the source of the loud singing

Lovely to see the various styles being tried out on Barun ..I am glad u have realized that he is the nectar drawing all the honey bees towards ur show ..But if u pay half the attention towards Khushi and get her out of that wig and into her normal style ..I am sure lots of wasps will dig in too ... U can do it now since she is ASR's wife ...

Finally, I get to be the first one to comment on your superb post!!!!!!!!! Love your analysis and observations.

Barun - yummylicious, delicicious, creamalicious, Barunlicious hotlicious Arnav. The man just looks better and better in casual and workout clothes. I just want them to now provide him with some classy suits like what he wore that first day when he came in the helicoper. That's when this honeybee was hooked.

Kushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada is moving into ASR's room now - the home remedies part was funny. Loved the singing and the washing clothes in the pool. Not sure who will win the war but Khushi definitely won the battles today.

Your inference of the colors theme is very interesting - to me, this started with holi where Anjali told Khushi that 'it is not in everyone's naseeb to put colors onChote / to bring color into his life. This was a signal that she will change the color of his life and now you are noting the progression here.

Fantastic post as usual!!! I agree with you that the episode was good. I am on the same lines with you of how the her vibrant colors have infused his bleak life. Today, Barun's expressions were priceless, Sanaya's acting awesome, and Abhas is so back on track but the episode was totally filled with idiosyncrasies. I have my own long list and I did not even notice the ones you listed. I know sometimes there are mistakes, but some things were just "flabbergasting" . I was just chanting your mantra, "Cinematic Liberty", "Cinematic Liberty", "Cinematic Liberty"'.(My list is at the bottom of the post.)

Below is my analysis:

When I saw the episode the first time, the only thing that struck me was Doods triangle theory: She had mentioned it in one of her posts that the Arnav - Khushi - Shyam are three points of triangle with Anjali in the center. The triangle was formed then, the game was declared, the preparations started but the game got initiated for at least two of these players in the past three episodes. Let me explain:

Shyam:

His initiation in the game began with Khushi's confession which made him realize that he has not lost and he has, in fact, an equal chance of winning. He, thus, planned, prepared and commenced his attacks with Khushi today, with physical overtures and he will soon be attacking Arnav mentally by disclosing the fact that he knows the reason of their marriage. Shyam is a mean manipulative fellow, he knows this fact will cut Arnav's knees from under him but, as Tanthya, you mentioned before, his gloating will be his downfall. His gloating might thus make him reveal his plans, one of which might be his use of Payal's -Mami relationship to break Payal's marriage, thus freeing Khushi .

Shyam-Anjali:

Though Anjali's is Shyam's ACE, I do not think he will use her until its an absolute necessity because Anjali has/ have/ and will always be his ticket to a comfortable financial existence which is very important to him. So, he will never want the truth to be revealed in front of Anjali and if it does happen he will play his cards in such a way that a wedge is drawn between the brother and sister and Anjali will support him.

Khushi:

With Payal's incident yesterday, Khushi's attacks began against Arnav thus initiating her entry in this game. Though her attacks are hilarious, we should not forget that these attacks have borne out of the mistrust she has for Arnav, which makes her a formidable opponent. We always thought she was an innocent defenseless player in his game, but is she really? I think she is the most innocent manipulator of this game. Why? Twice, today, we saw her using Anjali against the two most important players of this game , and didn't she come out as the winner. With Arnav, she manipulated the situation so that it was Anjali who gave her the space in his wardrobe and Arnav was defenseless to do anything against it. Similarly, with Shyam, she asked Anjali to "open her eyes" thus protecting herself and ensuring that he runs for cover . Both the times she changed the situation to her advantage and came out with flying colors using innocence, smartness, honesty and just plain wickedness. Does this mean she will win at the end? Methinks this game will have no winner.

Anyways, her above incident with Shyam, commenced her initiation to start attacks/defense against the second player of this game, Shyam Manohar Jha.

Khushi-Anjali :

I always thought that it will always be Shyam who will use Anjali for his means and Khushi-Arnav will protect her. But after today, I think, if situation demands, Khushi can and will use Anjali. When times comes, her immaturity, childishness or just plain honesty will result in her manipulating the situation, if for nothing else, then to ensure, that Anjali "opens her eyes" to see the real Shyam. She will also then use Anjali to make Arnav do her biding and let her go, thus giving Khushi her space.

Arnav:

The sleeping lion. His initiation is still not taken place, infact he does not even know what is happening around him. Currently, he knows Khushi is doing her antics but Arnav will and has always allowed her to win in this small games. It's the big ones which matter to him, and he ensures that he wins those. So when Shyam plays his trump card and Arnav initiation takes place in this game, will history again repeat itself? Previously, Khushi and Shyam were aware of the situation but when Arnav realized the truth (Terrace scene), he played a card, which even though wounded him, just clean bowled these two players. Will he do the same again or will this time he be like the lion who will stalk his prey, track his every move, give him a false sense of security and strike him when he is at its most vulnerable. Only time will tell...

Arnav - Anjali:

Anjali is not his strength like the other two but his weakness. Thus, all his attacks have to be planned in such a way that she is never made aware of the truth. They even gave us a hint about his protectiveness towards her in the show today, first at the dining table (his expression) when she sneezed, the other in the room with Khushi. Is Khushi and Shyam aware of his this protectiveness towards his sister? Absolutely. Will they use it against him? Again, only time will tell.

Thus, he is the person who has the biggest disadvantage in this game because First, Anjali , second, save Payash marriage and third, his love for Khushi. Well, Arnav bitwa, Tough times are coming for you!!!

In short, we have Shyam attacking Khushi and Arnav, Khushi attacking Shyam and Arnav and we will soon have Arnav attacking Khushi and Shyam thus forming the triangle with Anjali in the center.

Now,we just have to wait and watch, how this game plays out...

Note/Questions to CVs:

Isn't Arnav an educated fashion tycoon ? So shouldn't he at least be aware of the concept of "Dry-Cleaning" or have I totally missed his job-description?😕 At least we got the confirmation that they have a washing-machine.
Did that bathroom really belong to a bungalow/mansion? I know they cannot build sets but then why show something which will not fit in the model.😡
Where did he shave? At one moment he had the stubble, and the next , his stubble had reduced and this was before he went for a shower. Not that he did not look cute and I was not dazzled, but was that Arnav, I thought he was totally completely "Barun Sobti".😉
Khushi's Mangalsutra just changed after she came out from her bath. Previously, it was the "Stolen" mangalsutra, then it was just a string of some chain with pendant with few black manis. Methinks they had a tug-a war with the "Stolen" Mangalsutra that was not aired.😆 I am saying "stolen" because I have not seen them giving her one, Raizadas = Kanjoos🤣
Akashjee only gets ready when he has to go to a meeting, what of the other times when he has to go to the office. Do the Raizada's have a policy of saving water for Anjali's tear supply?🤣
Have times changed or have girls stopped taking suitcases full of clothes to their sasural? Anyways the main point is, was that a normal jute bag or Hermoine's extended bag. Whatever it was, CV's please tell us where we can buy such bags, because I really need that "jute-bag" which has never-ending space.😊
Anjali's comment,"Aapke sab shirt kale hain", in which world? Haven't we been drooling on his different colors of shirts since Adam: Blue, green, orange, maroon, brown, white, etc or were we just dreaming? I am sure I also saw them in the wardrobe today but after her comment I don't think I should be trusting my eyes with colors.😆
If Arnav has so many shoes, why does he always wears the same "H" ones? Again, Raizada = Kanjoos😆

Yours is the last post I wait, read and reply to before I sleep and trust me it is one reason I sleep very peacefully :) So Thank you for the always wonderful analysis! I do not know how many times I will say this - but you are brillinat! *claps*

Okay coming to the episode - Hilarious - Sanaya Iranis proves herself as a fab actor always and she was brilliant in irritating Arnav and she got me irritated too after a point of time - so kudos to her. I really like how you noticed about Payal - because it seriously skipped my attention ( Totally Barun Sobti's fault as I could not forget the gell free hair :D) But yes - the immediate concern was there and it was cute to watch.

Coming to Arnav - apart from looking super sexy and Hot and what not - I believe he is changing - his reaction was a bit mellowed down today to all of Khushi's antics and somehow till the next MU crops up - I do think Arnav will be a bit relaxed with Khushi - rest about the MU - I am not going to be thinking of it now, will take it as it comes. Arnav was definitely concerned for Khushi and I saw that 3 times today - one when he took the curd away from her, when he asked her to take medicine, when he asked her to sleep inside - all 3 situations were Arnav's concern for Khushi. He does not express it explicitly, yet it is always there. Also loved the small rabba ve moment - adorable!!

I really loved the closet thing - especially now that you have explained it. I feel the other symbolism is this that by giving the closet space ( or rather taking the space) Khushi slowly moving towards and into Arnav's life. She may be doing it for different reasons but even Arnav not screaming and shouting at her - later on - shows that he has deep down accepted her. As for the color thing - yes Arnav's darkness filled life will be filled with colors by Khushi as she is the only one who can. I really loved how you have explained it.

Thank god! Finally Aakash stood up for Payal and I really loved the sarcastic way in which he did it. However I do not understand the point behind these Payal torturing scenes.

Shyam is growing dangerous! He creeped me out today! Aabhas was perfect today! Acting wise - he was the best as he did scare me into thinking for a moment that he would rape khushi at the firt chance he got. The looks were deadly and yet fabulously portrayed. Nevertheless - his confidence and courage - both are at heights now. But somehow he keeps missing on the point that Khushi is not interested. Khushi was good today. If she would have let Shyam go then her morning antics with Arnav would seem actually dumb to me - however the way she reacted to shyam - kudos to her! Shyam is not going to reveal anything before he realizes that Khushi and Arnav have gotten close and I do think we are moving towards that! Khushi in Arnav's room - the tension is going to be there so lots of physical, emotional turbulances will happen and I believe that will lead them closer and then will Shyam make his move.

A good enough episode - a bit too kiddish, however a would do. Loved your analysis as usal - do not even have to tell you that anymore I guess! :))

P.S : Me and a couple of us were discussing about how we have seen Arnav's care and concern and desperation and love and jealousy - basicall all emotions of love - however when it comes to Khushi - it does not seem to go further much - she does care yet the strong / powerful desperate emotion that Arnav portrays is missing from her side - atleast not something we have been shown much about. Do you think the creatives should explore this ground!? Because I would love to see it! :))

P.P.S : Special mention to Barun Sobti - he looks gorgeous - absolutely yummilicious with gel free hair! I just could not get enough of him in that messed up morning look! ;)

I thought in holi segment..khushi's hair were real..they were short..

Wow! Managed to make it to first page today! 😊 I'm so pleased with myself! 😉

Great post Tants... as usual, but I guess you already know that. Love how you consistently read between the lines, look beyond the obvious to bring us an interesting, insightful analysis everyday that makes us go "Aaahhh! Yeah that makes sense!"

The high points in today's episode for me were:

1. Arnav's growing acceptance of Khushi - like it or not, he's falling slowly but surely - all the scenes and instances you pointed put, completely agree with them

2. Khushi-Anjali growing closer - I don't see how Arnav can't think - hey why is this girl cosying up to my sister - wouldn't there be a certain amount of guilt if she was his Di's souten

3. Akash standing up for Payal - loved your interpretation of this - so true!

4. Khushi's retaliation - giving it back to Shyam - would love it if she kicked him in the b*lls! Doubt he'd be able to cry out in pain 😆

5. Khushi's realization that Shyam isn't on the road to redemption

6. Shyam's growing audacity - scary 'cos it led to Bauji's stroke but it also brought ArHi together (Khushi reached out to Arnav - the hospital hug; Arnav was there for the Guptas - paying the bills)

What I could with less of: that may mean the CVs having to evolve their characters - but then, isn't that what makes characters real - when they change and adapt to situations...

1. Payal crying - enough already!!

2. Anjali being blind - some moments of reason and then she shuts it out

3. Khushi - start connecting the dots - she may not have done this before - but she did her two bit investigation on acidity once... so maybe you want to check what's with Laad Governor's sour face and Shyam's impudence..

So the story is moving... slowly... I liked today's episode - can't say that about yesterday's though!

How delectable can one look with gel less hair..😆..I seriously want them to ban hair gel..no more gel on him..😆 I am full to flat on that man..😳

The only good point was that...finally we figured out that he pool water is safe to wash clothes😆...

and Khushi's WHAT THE song...what was that😆

I have to go back to drooling now...😉...

But I have to say something..."BEWARE OF SHYAM...HE IS JUST PURE EVIL"...HIS EYES WERE ALL OVER KHUSHI TODAY...I JUST WISHED ASR WAS THERE TO RIP THOSE EYES..😈

Hey for sure some one among CVs reads your post dear. Because I have caught them red handed at least on 3 instances before and this must be 4th regarding washing machine.. And the episodes being aired are just recorded the day before.. So I am quite sure about this 😊..

Yes colors indeed. So beautifully put.. All colors in the otherwise black wardrobe.. She is that much need color in his life.

Why is he so quite these days. So mellowed. He has become a subdued Arnav...Can this guy be so much in love... Wow!!!

very lovely epi n very lovely analysis take out shayam's portions. At this time we only watching kkg 100th methods of irritating arnav n arnav concern 4 kkg. Mami aur payal k scene nhi dekhey but saw akash scene n u saying right he will be along with payal when shayam truth comes out . Shayam advances n kkg worriness this is da main point of yesterday epi in my pov n if its showing more then yeah story is nw moving further. An other Mu is in da way 4 Asr n this MU may lead them or just arnav to real truth of shayam.
