I am not defending Arnav's actions nor questioning yalls take on DV...Perhaps its been one time too many but how many times has KASR hurled words at Arnav, questioned his character, insulted him? They are explosive, BOTH of them... I just think Khushi is not as helpless as ppl make her out be... she too made some choices which she thought were right when it didn't have to be that way... So after recommendation i did wiki Domestic violence- it is defined as a pattern of abusive behaviors by one partner against another in an intimate relationship such as marriage, dating, family, or cohabitation. domestic violence, so defined, has many forms, including physical aggression or assault (hitting, kicking, biting, shoving, restraining, slapping, throwing objects), or threats thereof; sexual abuse; emotionalabuse; controlling or domineering; intimidation; stalking; passive/covert abuse (e.g., neglect); and economic deprivation.

Right ho... their entire relationship is Domestic violence????? Got it. Totally.
Lets all listen to "Love the way you lie". That wiki just made their entire relationship moot.

@bold red - Not need to be cutting, my friend. When a heated discussion happens, its not always about win/lose, its about learning different perspectives.

I also wanted to categorically state that the word PIG does not refer to any character in the show. It characterizes DV.

Khushi is not weak, you bet. She will retaliate in time. And when she does, I truly hope this forum will be as forgiving to her as they are to ASR

Would it then be ok for Khushi to push, shove, drop him from rooftop, and bruise Arnav when she is mad at him?
Would it be ok for her squeeze his arm so hard he is covering his bruises from his family and friends the next day?
Would it be ok for Khushi to Blackmail Arnav in future that if he ruins her sisters life, she will ruin his sisters life?
Would it be ok for Khushi to ridicule Arnav that a business man of his stature has no brains on how to handle his own brother in law?
Will the forum accept his behavior from Khushi?

CVs can easily change her character to become the abuser in future and totally justify that she has so many scars from her past that she is now equally flawed as Arnav. Would that make it all better?

If its not good for the goose, its not good for the gander.

The point is, domestic abuse is domestic abuse whether done by ASR or Khushi. There is no qualifying domestic abuse, it is what it is.

nuf said and well said!!

The above line is quite interesting. you know this very thought has crossed my mind a million times as i watched the serial from its first day.

I keep thinking what in the world is drawing these two together, there is only hate on both sides. the only answer that came to be was their incredible physical need. thats all i could sense in the many many rabba ves. their physical chemistry. as far as mental compatibility goes, these two are miles away from that.

this is my opinion and certainly not what CVs intended but this is what I felt seeing the past epis.

How strange because I have always said this too. They are not in love with each other. Well not yet anyway (yeah im going to get tomatoes, rotten eggs and a lot of chappals for this). But it's kind of true. I can't remember them sharing a proper conversation for more than two miniutes. I am wondeing if they really have anything in common between them to share with each other. Yet.
It's interesting because almost all their encounters are very physical without a lot of words being spoken between them.
I wonder if their current relationship can hold on with just physical interactions.
And another thing, love builds on trust. without trust there's no love. They dont trust each other. So are they in love with each other. In my definition, No.

It's also strange that ppl find masochistic love stories ( le* Wuthering heights and the like) oddly attractive...

Yikes I never like Wutherign heights 😆 It's kind of messed up in my opinion (sorry WH fans)
I was just telling one of my friends the other day that ASR is becoming more and more like Heathcliff.
(although Heathcliff is a fascinating character. One of the best penned in that century)
But then the story never ended happily did it?

@CDlove that definitely didn't end happy... But they did find closure in death in some twisted sense. I hope Arhi on the other find other ways of closure one that doesn't involve domestic violence nor death or something equally as dippressing..

Yeah they got together after death or something of the sort (*rolls eyes*) But you know what, this kind of plot is so very hindi soap style, i wouldn't be surprised if they do consider something like that in the show as a last miniute ditch attempt to revive TRPs back (if the story go down the drain i.e)😕
Lord have mercy, something like that won't happen to the show. Im too attched to it to bear to see something like that.

😆 Dont worry, if the show ever kills one of the leads, you know they can refer the SP manual of Cliches and bring the twin in. Gasp!! another Humshakal story would fit right in, we already got rest of the masala.
