I think I agree with Vistaa about the marriage... I felt that was done as the ultimate travesty and trampling of her beliefs... the always and forever mangalsutra and vermillion to denote a marriage with an expiry date... where he will not give her the positon of his wife either... I think I will really take a long time to forgive Arnav for this one... the dimaag that he keeps haring about seems to have gone on a strike along with the heart... and tear glands seem to be the only thing working... regarding the rest .. lesser said the better... The ladies @RM didn't have the guts to get things out of their own so they also joined the circus and battered an already battered person... is everyone blind to her tears? The only saving grace in today's episode being Bauji! loved that scene...

A couple of points IMHO:

The marriage was not Arnav's desire to do it according to Khushi's wishes ...give importance to her religious sensibilities and thus solemnize it in the Mandir. It was precisely for the wrong reason...he wanted to make it the biggest travesty of her beliefs...wanted to rub it in..."so you value the sindoor and mangalsutra as symbols of janam-janmantar ka saath? Precious symbols of the precious and sacred institution of marriage? That was what the marriage was all about. And of course, it will serve as a means to an end...keeping Shyam away from Khushi.

At the moment, there is no conflict in Arnav - he HATES Khushi ... hates her for being the one to break up his sister's beautiful happy married world ... because she is the person Shyam fell in love with and is ready to leave Anjali for ...

and he hates her because he thinks SHE fell in love with Shyam - when he was falling in love with her ... and she was deliberately playing games with him ... her betrayal as he sees it ...

the first is not her fault, but because he also thinks the second, the hurt and the anger is doubled ... and my take is still the same ... his dimaag has shut down because of the second reason, not the first ... he wants to destroy her for both reasons but definitely the second is the one making him lash out so badly.

His love has turned into hatred which is why it is so much more damaging and corrosive ... because it is the flip side of the coin ... when you love and trust someone, the hurt and anguish when they betray you is so much more than when you are let down by strangers ... he had started to believe in Khushi, believe in love, in life, started laughing again because of her ... and to see this has shattered him ... and made him lash out all the more vindictively and cruelly ...

This cruel streak is what I find the most ugly side of ASR, to be honest ... I could never really love a man who has that streak in him, it can surface at any moment ... but for story-telling purposes, the cv's have played it up even more ... releasing the tapes and damaging an unknown innocent girl's reputation just because she has the temerity to challenge him and his beliefs, was bad enough ... now she is the girl that he loves ... and he can be this cruel ... I really wonder if any girl in the real world would be ready to forgive this ... I know I would not. I would tell him the truth about his jija and get the hell out. Let him handle the mess ...

In fact that's what I'm hoping for ... once Shyam is finally revealed, one Khushi's innocence is proved, then Khushi should tell him - I forgive you for doing what you did for your sister, I did what I did for mine ... now I will leave your life and never come back ... because if there is no trust between two individuals, there can be no love.

And Arnav will be the loser ... a girl like Khushi will get a million admirers - heck, already the entire male population of RM is lattoo over her ... but Arnav will find it tough to find someone like her again ... And Arnav really has to grovel to get her back ... his repentance should be for everything he has done to her starting from the tapes.Then only will it be justified if she forgives him ...


Precap - yes, he's back to using her as a pawn ... it's not possessiveness, it's a game and she's his bargaining chip ... I'm looking at the SPA pics again and again to remind myself this is just fiction!!! 😆

You are one of my favorite posters on this forum. I have enjoyed reading many of your posts thoroughly. But it pains me so much to have to disagree with you. I hate myself for that as like I said, I so like your posts. 😭
