All the characters were true to themselves ... the Guptas have always used Khushi's adopted status as a whip ... whether it was Payal's first marriage - where Garima said the same thing - you're not my daughter, Buaji brought up ties of blood there as well as during the forced Shyam engagement ... it seems Khushi has lived with this all her life ever since she lost her parents - a loving family on the surface, but every single mistake she makes is not because she's a young girl, but because she is not their own ... and she's spent her life trying to BE their own, be a part of them ... but she never quite has belonged ... and never will. In spite of making all the sacrifices ... like she did again today.

Nani and Anjali were justified in being disappointed with Khushi - they have always given her love and respect, they always recognised that she had the courage and the power to challenge Arnav and stand up to him when no one else did, even them ... they always encouraged her when she did ... and they are disappointed deeply that in this most important event of Arnav's life, important for them as well as for him ... she apparently gave in to him ...

Mami was being Mami ... losing no opportunity to humiliate and insult ...

Arnav was being Arnav ... acting recklessly, thoughtlessly, in anger, and then running away from the consequences of his actions, leaving Khushi to face the mess ... AND deeming it his power, not his weakness ... he vowed he would destroy both Khushi and Shyam, he has started with Khushi, the softer target ... hello Arnav bitwa, be a man, and go after the real culprit instead of punishing the vulnerable innocent victim ... WHEN will his dimaag start working again?! Hopefully it will soon ... because he has always been the cause of her troubles, as well as the one to rescue her from them ... but his road to redemption is getting longer and longer ...

The marriage - Arnav has a long way to go yet ... true he realized the significance of the rituals and the mangal sutra and sindoor and gave Khushi that, in her Devi Maiya's temple, no less ... but has he truly understood the significance of marriage? That it's NOT just about those symbols and rituals, but the trust, the love and understanding and the true bond they signify. Marriages are said to be made in heaven and solemnized on earth ... marriage is a social contract, sanctified by God and certified by witnesses ... he gave her half of it, but not all ... the symbols, but without recognizing the true meaning ... the empty shell. Chalo, at least his journey has started there to bringing back his faith ... following the rituals because they were important to HER ...but this is only the first tentative baby step ...

Khushi has reached her nadir today ... abandoned by everyone - her adopted family, the Raizadas who took her to heart and now have abandoned her as well, and the man she fell in love with, who has now crushed her twice over ... thrice if we include the video tapes ... She has no way to go but upwards ... she will rise ... she has to ... from the ashes, the phoenix will rise again ... stronger than ever ... Sanaya was heartbreakingly awesome today, especially in the temple scene as her world just crashed to dust around her ears ... 😭

I agree with you on this. I don't think he is a coward in any sense of imagination. Like he said, why is everyone overreacting? He was surprised by the ambush and he said what he had to which was, shaadi karni thi to kar liya. Bus, there is nothing more to say. Even when he broke off with La, he had the same reaction. He is a very closed person & he expects everyone to respect that.


The reason he didn't think Khushi would need his help is because I think he has seen a spirited Khushi from day one. He never probably knows how seriously damaged she could be emotionally by his actions. He still thinks Khushi wouldn't need anybody's help to defend herself. Also he is mad & thinks she deserves it, he is in no mood to help till he sees a damaged/broken Khushi & that will come soon enough. At the moment, he thinks her tears are crocodile tears


First things first, he thinks he has won half the battle by marrying Khushi. He thinks once he marries her, Shyam like a sharif man will back off. Which is where ASR is wrong. By now he should have figured him out when he openly challenged him but they have to drag it out.


ASR is suddenly shown as a dimwit especially Khushi's mangetar Shyam = jijaji Shyam should have been an instant batti jali moment but pls let it not be a 6 month moment😆😆😆

@Diya: I thought Garima and mamiji were true to form but the others could've all been a little less hard on Khushi. Way to go, trample and crush her when she's down and out. How does one spell BULLY? Didn't expect that from Nani and Anjali. Why not break down Chote's door instead?

I guess SP convinced (armtwisted maybe) PH to show marriage, crying leads, no SR and huge misunderstanding in exchange for some SP support.

and since PH is not much experienced into too much crying, didnt know what to do.. normally its only the female lead who cries in other shows.. these guys got over excited by the deal and not only made the male lead cry but entire supporting cast cry too..

Sheila - I am not concerned about naniji. I think naniji will come around sooner than we expect. I think she has very high regards for Khushi and was just disappointed. She knows, if anyone can stand up to ASR it's Khushi. More than anything else both Anjali & Nani know, that ASR needs a Khushi in his life.

They both have witnessed the connection😉 but they just want to make sense of the haste. She even said, we know his nature but why did you comply? Very unusual for Khushi & that is what they are trying to figure out. I think once Khushi asks nani for forgiveness, nani will be good. But mami is getting on my nerves & at the moment both sisters are in no position to fix her. Khushi would have but she is in deep sh*t herself

@Diya, the Guptas indeed stayed true to their characters not wasting yet another opportunity to remind Khushi she is adopted. I really hope when the truth comes out Khushi isn't shown going back to them. Khushi is better off without Garima and Bua's fake love, they only love her when it suits their needs other than that they could care less about her. It was so cold the way they hugged Payal and talked about her being the good daughter while Khushi looked on like a stranger.
