Sushpective: Will give benefit of the doubt!

Phew...It is not a Fake marriage...

I am relieved...I would have been really mad ifthey showed Arnie proposing a "live in" relationship to Khushi...I would have been more than mad...Furious...But any...way, don't need to worry about that...

Now...the episode today...how melodramatic was that? And Garima's thappad...wel...what can I say, I realize why I don't watch soaps...where women are exploiting other women...and are their worst enemies...This could have been an episode from any of the other stereotypical...soaps...with high amount of drama playing in front of all the family members and hundreads of guest...I thought IPKKND was different...Well it really was, until now...This is the first time such a pathetic drama has taken place in public ...but unlike Arnie...I am going to give the benefit of the doubt to the presumed guilty party here...I am going to give them (CVs) a chance to come back o their regular behavior and I am going to trust my judgement in the first place of why I fell in love with IPKKNDin the first place...and have been watching it day in and day out..(And I hate to say it folks...but if our Arnie boy was as mature as me...he would not be the hero of a soap...he he...).😉

Ok...lets come back to the episode...they showed us more of what transpired between Arhi...what was said and what wasn't ...They showed another convenient error the had Khushi made...just to sit their purpose of going with their story...

When Arnie said...Marry me for 6months...I would have expected Khushi to say...for 6 months? in response...not Marry you...? in response...They just played on the words to slip in more confusion...Oh...welll...whatever...tight script has never been a forte when it comes to IPKKND or any other daly soaps...and the brilliant people on this forum think that it is a Khushi issue...why she did not behave in a certain way...😆😆😆

But what was more than a blunder to suit the story was...Arnies condition to have the marriage for 6 months...Is this man really this clueless? Babies need more than 6 months to get ready to come out...and it does not take 3 months for a woman to figure out that ...So either Arnie boy is really clueless...or my guilty party is the CVs again...who make him look silly with this condition...Remember las week...on one of my threads...when I wrote that I smell a contract marriage I also wrote that the term for this marriage is going to be 8 months...Once again the CVs wrote a story to dumb down the character to serve the story...which is that right before Anj is going to have her baby...she has to deal with the trauma of losing Khushi...and possibly with the original reason of why Arnie did it in the first place. still intact..Oh well...Whatever...as I said...tight script has never been a forte when it comes to IPKKND or any other daly soaps...

There was not much to like in todays episode...but one hing I did like was that they gave ius a glimpse of Arnies frame of mind in arriving atthis point as well as Khushi's...

It was an emotional reaction, and a knee jerk one too...tit for tat...

You are destroying my sisters life...I will destroy your sisters...unless you cooperate in my plan which is not much ...but it is the best I could come up with right now...and hell it suits the IPKKND story...so lets just go with it...

Sush - I thought it was an indecent proposal with a twist. What was this worth? Her sister's marriage, 6 months later no honor, no future since she is now considered damaged goods (even if she doesn't consummate) and maybe the parents who adopted her wouldn't want her back. Priceless

Let's put it in perspective - Which one is more damaging, Garima's slap or the 6 month sham? Yes, this marriage is a sham; it is really a live-in disguised as a marriage. A decent idea for the Indian audience would be to have a regular marriage, but she is free to walk away if she chooses to after 6months.Are we shunning the institute of marriage in the name of entertainment? Yes, one may argue it's been done before. Does that make it right? 😕

I hope better sense prevails in the CV's, nani or Anjali insist that they do the pheras. ASR cannot & should not hide behind a contract, take responsibility for your actions! That's what a gentleman would do! ASR should not object to another phera coz his purpose is served; to announce to Shyam that she is mine! It will give some closure to the victim KKG! She can try to put some of the humiliation behind her with the blessings of her loved ones, help her regroup and get her spunk back!

The whole family scene, their shocked expression, the slap and the disapproval was for a reason. It is for ASR to realize; marriage is not about going to a board room & signing a contract. It is really about feelings not just of the couple but their loved ones too. It is for parents to safeguard the interests of their children in full view of the society.

ASR was shocked at the response; maybe he was expecting a standing ovation😕 Is that why he didn't have a good answer or does he think he is above all? I wish ASR had seen Shashi's reaction. How helpless he may have been feeling? Just like how Anjali means a lot to ASR, there are people who love Khushi too.

Yes, I saw ASR seething when she was slapped. But my dear ASR, I expected more from a class act like you. Be a man & say, it's was my decision! Why didn't CV's have nani slapping ASR instead? ASR's expression would have been to die for...🤣

Khushi was awesome in the FB👏👏👏 Yes, the girl still had a fight left in her. She said no, not once but several times. But she finally gave in & said "I will do anything you ask me to". That scene was so touching; she was so broken at the point & covered her face in shame. He was touched by that but didn't pause to think. He can relate to it but today he didn't want to.

A girl who would do anything for the family that adopted her, someone who believes in the institution of marriage so deeply, how could she think of getting involved with a married man? Khushi is no stranger to ASR & that is why his total disregard/disrespect for her and her family surprises me.

The signs of ASR mellowing are there; they want ASR to mellow down gradually and the only way they know how is by torturing Khushi. Depends on how much torture is enough torture for the CV's

It seems totally unlikely...but I am still hoping for some rituals next week...May be Arnie will feel bad about shutting the door on Anj's face...and make some concession...

CVs...the leads get married only once...You showed us the side charcaters getting married for more than 1 week...Come on...lets have at least 1 week for Arhi's wedding...contrcatis done ...point is made...Now lets us have a proper wedding...

-Sari-...Yes...you are so right about marriage being more than a contract and involving feelings of more than the people getting marrid...Strangely enough that made me lose my anger for Arnie to subject Khushi thorugh this...because he is actually subjecting his own entire family (and of course hers...which does not matter to him) through this too...just shows that he did not think through that aspect...as I said this was a knee jerk reaction...

I know, it baffled me, 6 months... seriously big blunder! Seriously, where is this going? Are we really going to see "a walkout " scenario, or will they continue after 6 months too...??? *ding ding ding*

Phew !! Finally some relief from that awful pain in the chest from yesterday. So mubaarak Arnie and Khushi tied the knot . So we now have a proper marriage for a defined period. We also were made privy to the conversation held at the poolside which reminded me so much of the fashion show and the start of ArHIThe episode starts with everyone searching for them and Shyam impatient with their absence. After several missed calls by Anji there walks in Arnie followed by the nervous Khushi without the varmala but looking very much hitched. I really liked the entry with Arnie's firm stance and Khushi's hesitant walk behind him . Arnie turns to take her nervous hand into his. Simply loved that. Yesterday with the precap I was not sure if he intended dragging her but to me it seemed like the reassuring hand that Khushi needed at that time and held it the entire time . The pair stood forth their families and viola they had their varmalas on. They really made a very nice picture and look good together. At times i forget this is fiction and begin to imagine their future. The entire flashback of the events at the poolside were so ASR & Khushi. I am so glad that Khushi fought back and I counted the no. of times she said NO to him and she gave in only when she saw she had lost. The one thing I can conclude today that Arnie cannot knowingly inflict physical harm to her.. It seems that there is more rona-dhona coming up and I agree a guy crying can look sexy but stop already. Also I read that the "twist" is yet to come and so we have a good material for the guessing game during the weekend. So Sush are you going to start that thread ..so we may join. By the way i forgot to say I loved today's episode.

Just waiting in hope CVs will turn things around before it goes too far. Yes, ASR is pigheaded and does not thing at all when he is angry but he is also the main lead. Certain things are expected from him no matter what.
