The lunch is over. Yes, Arnav did come and eat on the table with the whole family. Both Payal and Khushi were giving out the food. Khushi tried giving sugar free jalebies to her husband with a smile, but he only nodded to say no to those jalebies. He did not eat them! So, she did not eat her favourite jalebies. She was an ideal wife, who would only do something her husband does. If he does not eat the jalebies, she is not going to eat it either! Although, she did not let anyone know about it!

For Khushi, a few weeks went by in thoughts, and wondering around the pool! However, she kept going to Di for any help she needed or anything else. She kept doing it since she knows her husband's life is his Di, and she knew that if she wants to win her husband, she has to look after Di. Besides, she has a bond with Di herself now due to all her support in the past, like when Arnavji yelled at her and threw her out of RM, Di was the one who stood against Arnav for Khushi! Khushi is not selfish, she can not forget what Di has done for her!!

Today, was their 1 month marriage anniversary. That night Arnav comes home late at around mid night. Khushi was not sleeping. She was sitting in a chair at the poolside, looking at the stars, trying to find her amma-babuji and also looking for Arnavji's Ma and papa. She was busy looking and heard someone enter the room.

Khushi: I am sorry Arnavji, again you had to see me crying!! I know you are not going to understand it!! So just forget it!!

Khushi went to the bed and hid herself inside the blanket, leaving Arnav outside, all sad, worried and teary. Khushi was still sobbing. Arnav could hear her cry and sob! So he went to her and put his hand on her head and said, "Khushi..."

Khushi was extremely angry at this time, since 1)Arnav came late, 2)Shyam was here and saying crap, 3)Khushi can't say that Shyam was here so she was all frustrating and boiling inside by herself, 4)Arnav does not understand her tears. She threw Arnav's hand away from her head, sat on the bed with teary eyes and yelled at Arnav, her Arnavji...

Khushi: What are you doing Arnavji? Stop touching me! Do not come near me! What do you think you are doing? If you think you can do anything with me, then you are thinking wrong!! Yes, you have made me your wife, but without my wish!! You did not even ask me what I wanted! You did not tell me the reason of this marriage! And all you do is hate me!! Why do you hate me Arnavji? Do you always have to hate me?

Arnav was devastated with these words of Khushi! He looked at her with anger and hatred, AGAIN and yelled,

Arnav: HAVE I NOT TOLD YOU TO NOT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? STOP BEING RUDE TO ME AND TALK TO ME LIKE THAT, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Khushi yelled again: WHY WOULD I NOT TALK TO YOU LIKE THAT? YOU HATE ME NA, SO DON'T I HAVE THE RIGHT TO HATE YOU BACK? WHY DO I HAVE TO LOVE YOU? WHY DO I HAVE TO TALK TO YOU NICELY? IT HAS BEEN ONE MONTH AND ALL I HEAR FROM YOU IS "I HATE YOU, DO NOT COME IN FRONT OF MY EYES. I HATE YOU"! Can't you say something nice? Why are you like this? Why do you always behave like this? Aap aise kyun hai??

Arnav was sad, he had no answer. He is really bad at expressing his feelings. He is very bad at that!! He just faced the other way and said, : I am not going to answer you. I don't have to.

And they both went to sleep on their respective places, the bed and the couch, and the night lamp turned on!

The next morning, Arnav had woken up very early and already left before Khushi woke up. However, he kissed her forehead before he left. That kiss made her moan and wake up a lil. But when she was fully woken up, he was gone.

She came downstairs in a yellow saree today, she met Di in the kitchen. Anjali took her to her room, took out the box of Ma ke bangles and Ma ki chitthi for chote's wife. Anjali smiled and handed both things to Khushi!

Khushi: What is this Di?

Anjali: This is Ma's bangles and Ma's letter for you. She wrote it for chote's wife and since you are chote's wife, you deserve this! Read it, Ma wrote it when she was alive. (Tears roll over her cheeks as she spoke that!)

Khushi: Please Di, do not cry! Otherwise, I will start crying with you!

Anjali smiled and said: Okay baba, I am not going to cry!! Bas?

Khushi took both things to her room and stared at them for a good 5 minutes, thinking about all her and Arnavji's meetings, fights, funny moments, sad moments, happy moments, etc. She was thinking how much everything has changed!! She never thought she would be married to this laad govorner. She never thought that!!

Then, she slowly opened up the letter and started reading it!

Khushi reads: Hamare chote ki bahu ke naam. (Khushi smiles a lil) Vaise to yeh kangan hum aapko khud hi pehnane wale hai, (Khushi's eyes are wet) par aapko ek raaz ki baat batani hai isi liye likh rahe hai. Dhyam rakhiye ga aur savadhan rahiye ga (Khushi is confused). Hamare chote ki naak pe bahot sara gussa rehta hai. Aur dil main...dil main bahot sara pyar. (Khushi's eyes get widened. She is confused and damn shocked !) Gussa bardast karta, aur pyaar...pyaar sut samet lautana. (Khushi is DEAD SHOCKED and starts crying!! So many tears come out of her eyes and her cheeks are all wet.)

All of a sudden, Arnav comes in there and sees Khushi crying with Ma's letter in her hand and the bangles on her side on the bed. He understands what has just happened! He walks towards Khushi! Khushi does not know yet. She is sobbing, wipping, and crying. Arnav becomes extremely sad and his eyes are wet as well. And she sees him coming. She becomes conscious and sad and shocked.

Khushi: Ar...Arnavji, please forgive me for behaving like that with you last night. I am sorry. Please forgive me.

Arnav does not say anything and goes to her, sits beside her. He takes teh letter from her hand, and puts it on his chest, holds it with his both hands and starts crying. Khushi has not seen him crying like that.

Khushi: Arnavji, please stop crying. I can not see you crying like this. Please stop.

Arnav puts his head in Khushi's lap and starts wipping, crying and sobbing. Khushi cries along with him. She puts her hand on his head and lightly moves it in teh motion of his hair, just how his Ma used to do.

Arnav: Khushi, I miss Ma so much!! I miss her so much!! Why did she leave me? Why?

Khushi cries more and says: Please stop crying Arnavji! We can't do anything once they are gone. Do not cry please.

Then she puts her head on his head and cries with him. Then, after a few minutes, they both stand still again, sitting on the bed. Arnav takes the bangles and makes Khushi wear them. He puts them on Khushi's hands by himself.

Arnav: You deserve them.

Khushi: What? You are saying that Arnavji? I am so glad...(He cuts her in between since he remembers all Shyam-Khushi thing)

He stands up all of a sudden and says: Well, you...you should have it since this is all you wanted right? (Starts becoming angry!) This is what you all planned when you hunting my jijaji. This is what you wanted, didn't you? You wanted to become rich, you wanted this gold bangles, and wealth, so there!! Here it is now! For ever! Just leave my jijaji alone!!

Khushi is dead shocked and does not know how to react!!

Khushi: What are you saying Arnavji? I did not understand!!

Arnav holds her tight by her biceps and yells: OH YEH? YOU DON'T KNOW HUH?? YOU DO NOT KNOW?? I HAVE GOT TO KNOW EVERYTHIGN ABOUT YOU AND JIJAJI...I KNOW EVERYTHING. I HEARD EVERYTHING ON TEH TERRACE THAT NIGHT. YOU AND JIJAJI WERE HUGGI...

Khushi is just crying while he was saying all this!!

Khushi: You seem to have misunderstood me! It is not like how you think!! Beleive me, Arnavji! I LOVE YOU, not him!! WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I LOVE HIM? Why would I break Di's marriage? Di has done so much for me, she has always been very nice to me, why would I hurt her?

Arnav still does not belive her, but eventually in a few weeks, he starts believing her. They both make a plan to teach a lesson to Shyam. They succeed. The misunderstanding is gone. Everything becomes perfect. Everything stays calm, and happy for a month and after a month Arnav ' Khushi ' Anjali's past started rolling out!!

I'm bad at symbolisms, but I tried my best to figure it out. Then I read ur explanation in one of the posts. It sounds interesting. Will be waiting for the next part.
