@dark blue: YUP. Agreed right there. Which is why I always "liked" your posts and never commented on them! LOL. Cos I found it intimidating to even say a word on ur threads. 😆 But then again, as a writer, I'm not just writing. I read too. You'd know what I mean. You write, and from what you just said, you read too. And everytime I read someone else's work, I learn something from it. What to do and what NOT to do. 😆 We're all here to learn, discuss, share... People shouldn't be restricted to post, just because their english isn't good enough. They'll learn the art of writing, and learn to see beauty in language gradually. All we need is time to get better at this art! 😳
@Pink: I never said to add an age restriction. I meant, the writers of the "mature" posts can add the simple HTML COMMAND PROMT that will restrict users of 18 and above to view the post. Just like you post the NOCOPY or the MEMBERSONLY commands! SImple as that! In that way, the 9 year olds can be protected and the older ones can be refrained from viewing what's not to be read by their ages.
@green: none of our problems. If they do such a thing, it's their choice. it's their own business, and if their parents are fine with it, I don't know why we should bother. If their parents don't know about it, well, they're failing at their jobs then.
@grey: EXACTLY MY POINT. if the admins have a responsibility towards the younger generation, then they should not in ANY CASE forget about the older generation. We are users of India Forums as well you know?
@black: times change. people change. you as an adult, has lived life and experienced more than most of us here. You'd have had the privilege to witness such a change. and if this change is occurring, I don't see why IF should not reform with times. It's not just the establishment of a unit that's important, it's its maintenance that also matters. keeping the essential groundwork of what's been established, and also moving forward with times. You will probably not believe this but i know 16 year olds who DID THE DEED. and this was 4 years ago. :/ IN INDIA OKAY! NOT SOMEWHERE ELSE! just a small example. In HK they DO IT when they're 12 yrs old. According to my classmates here, at university.
