I have often wondered about this.

I have seen many many handsome men and kind of been immune to them (believe me I have been) because their personality did not realy appeal.

Take the example of Barun in Baat Humari Pakki. He did not have such an impact.

But I think the magic here is Barun playing ASR. It is ASR that attracts everyone. ASR's mannerisims, style, inner softness, external harshness...he has become the dream man many girls would die for.

So, I think the charm is in Barun as ASR and not Barun in isolation which again is a credit to Barun because he lives the role!

So it is ASR's soul in Barun that we like so much? Because now they are so synonymous that there can never be anyone else.

Hope I have not upset or offended anyone. Just a random observation.

i disagree -_- i loved shravan, like shravan rocked! and i loved barun as raj too, so...its barun.

oh yeah completely agree...ASR is the charm...becuase he is the intellectual he is the man walking and talking...

barun interviews shows he is a differenct kinda guy altogether - more like baat humari pakki hai and yeh he is cute and all that...but the MYSTERY and the Challenge that lies in ASR is missing.

I've watched clips of the other show and it did nothing for me. And, with IPK. I also started by watching a clip, further into the show, and the character just jumped out of the screen. So yeah, ASR all the way.

Its credit to Barun that he lives and breaths as ASR, but the character is what causes the drooling...

Kudos to Barun for carrying it off so perfectly! In fact after I started watching this show, I watched BHPH and as cute as he was, I still prefer him as ASR.

The same for Maan Singh Khurana and Gurmeet,...

absolutely ASR...I mean barun is cute and a fabulous actor but i think its deffo arnav that every1 has fallen for BIGGG TIME!! there are other goodlooking guys on tv aswel but this character is just wowww!!! 😉

i love Barun fullstop! so no matter what role he does i think he does an amazing job! loved shravan raj ASR arnav and Barun😆 hats off to Barun Sobti for doing such an amazing job! only a fantastic actor can change course with the characters they play...hes like become the shah rukh khan of small screen and i honestly beleve hand on heart he could conquer bollywood...i would love to know where he gets his english accent from jus wow!😉
