It was amazing! I loved how you described her inner turmoil and her sudden strength in character. This monster seems to be psychotic...I really hope Payal defeats this character.

All the marriages here in the US don't work out either, but you've put a woman's emotional travails front and center.

This is amazing writing, you've gotten into this character's head and every feeling she feels is clear as a mirror.

Firstly Happy New Year! Yes, I thought I would take a relatively weak character and make her a fighter and not a quitter. You are very kind I am glad you all like this story so much.

I think domestic abuse is something unfortunately many girls and women can relate to and experience no matter where they may be. Just thought I would write a new story with new characters who have yet to make an appearance in the story.

Thank the girls in the office for me I appreciate their eagerness with this story. Glad they like this story. Thanks for the encouragement. You are too kind.

Thanks so much for your kind words on my writing I'm glad you like this story. Yeah, in the 1st part Payal was more scared and intimidated. But in the second part she was willing to fight and go head to head with the monster. I called him the monster because I could not come up with a name that suggests evil and I think monster kind of fits him. So glad you like this new story.

I've sort of removed all the characters we've come to associate with Payal and given the story a new set of characters. Early on I added her parents and her aunt and Khushi but you may have noticed that since then she has been dealing with new characters and will continue to do so. I'm not sure I want her dealing with the same characters as we see on the show.

I like the idea of brand new characters so as to have more room to play with them. You will see new ones as the story moves on. I hope people like it. Anyway thanks for reading and taking the time to comment.

I hope this inspires young girls to not quit and not be afraid if they find themselves in Payal's situation but have the courage to go head to head with the monster.

No, for once I won't be adding Shyam to this story. The monster is a new character. I wasn't able to come up with a evil sounding name for him so for now he will only be the 'monster' as Payal's character refers to him. I am glad you like the "empowering" of Payal. Yeah, I think she will go head to head a lot with this guy in the story.

And I will add more characters as we move along. No, the first bride that died is not Anjali, a new character. Genius? I think not friend. :) You're the genius because you write so well and are so humble about it. I love everything you write. You are one of the best writers on IF. I love reading your work.
