Today's episode seemed to be Shlokie boy's tribute to his father - pleasing him by bringing home the DIL he wanted😆

Both Shlok & Astha were so alike today. They totally displayed their possessiveness for each other, but yet they were different.
Astha believes that his world centers around her. His every action & reaction should be linked to her. She will not look at him, but he has to look at her. She will not speak to him, but he cannot ignore her, & has to speak to her. She will not confess her feelings, but he'll have to admit her feelings for her. I felt as though, she was enjoying the chase as well & her leaving together with her parents was deliberate. Subconsciously, she knew, & she wanted Shlok to come for her. And Shlok didn't disappoint.
Shlok, on the other hand, does not even bother with her reactions. It doesn't matter what she says, or even thinks. She is a toy for him & he will do whatever he wants with her as he likes. So he had no qualms with taking her hand & dragging her infront of everyone & publicly announcing their marriage, without her consent. The precap obviously proves this point right. Despite her saying no, he insists that she speak to him after which she won't be able to reject him. 'She' doesn't stand anywhere in this relationship. Shlok seemed a lot more like NA in the precap.
Looks like we're heading for some emotional blackmail/pressure so that she would agree to the marriage.
NA is truly an actor. Before the party, he did his job well & confirmed the script & screenplay with Shlok, so that he would be able to act & react accordingly. Shlok, of course, confirmed that he would do as daddy dearest likes & will pick Astha only, pleasing NA.
During the party, NA played a very nice host. He was clearly unhappy with that woman's comments, but he looked up & noticed Avdoot. Mask on. He told the woman that they should forget old stuff, & move on & celebrate the new happiness. Was that a hint to Avdoot that he should forget the refusal & re-consider the alliance again? Of course, we can't expect Avdoot or Kalindi to get the hint.
Anjali also played her role very well here. She resembled NA here. I am not sure if it was a conscious attempt or that Anjali, as usual, didn't realise that her actions would backfire against her but from the way I saw it, Anjali's dialogue on how Astha is not eligible & that Avdoot/Kalindi are of a lower class. seemed to be aimed at Kalindi's ego, which obviously would have reached the clouds when Shlok picked the very girl who Anjali didn't approve of. This would have the effect of Kalindi being very proud & thus she might even agree to the marriage, to piss Anjali off. NA obviously didn't stop Anjali because it was working towards his benefit. And how can we forget that Anjali didn't learn from her mistakes. She provoked Shlok & it didn't take even take him a minute to react. There, he went up the stage & did the exact opposite.
For those who still think that NA & Shlok are not in this together, watch the precap. NA was smiling. He was happy. That shocked reaction, today, was for the world to see. Also, Shlok be it in his revenge mode, or be it during the moments when he felt for Astha genuinely, he never let go of the fact that he loves his father & has constantly mentioned that to Astha. So, he will never do something like this that might end up humiliating his father, that too, when his emotions for her are not even strong enough.
Kalindi/Avdoot really disappointed me today. I liked that they gave Astha space & decided to speak to her the next day instead. But when Shlok was taking her hand infront of everyone, I can't believe that they just stood there, watching. How could they let Shlok do that.
A quick observation - Shlok announced his marriage on the very same day Anjali/NA got married. Is history repeating itself?
