^^@ Sam: Astha crying in the begiining was a clear indication how the announcement of marriage afftected her. Atleast that is how I saw the scene. Also, I loved the dialogues today between Astha/Shlok when they were alone..especially this one----->..you don't want to talk to me...yet when I do the same u cry..you will never look at me..yet you want me ot look at you Eeep! I just died a little there. Typical M&B dialogue delivered in quite a decpetive yet romantic way☺️

Nice analysis. The scene between Astha and Shlok is
beautifully done. His dialogues "You don't want to look
at me but you want me to look at you etc.." are bang on.
Well acted and executed. Astha's jealousy is also well
portrayed.

I doubt NA was involved in this plan. I think Anjali made shalok go so much far ahead and anncouned it.
For NA it can be Tanya or Aastha but Aastha is obviously as you guys said is better choice. NA was not so angry either what really affects him is the announcement and the way it's done. Also you might have noticed in last scene when chacha ji looks at NA he was kind if fuming. Anjali was totally pissed off.wait a sec , But when she said all the stuff to shalok it seems to me like she planned it. And the way she said it to shalok also seems like she wants Aastha ? But what was unexpected the way announcement was done. I don't even think Shalok planned it either. He just got it after talking to his mom while he was going to stage you must have noticed he stopped and looked at aastha. He is very confident after his conversation with her. Aastha after seeing the dream about marriage is all taken by Shalok. She was in Shalok's hands and shalok for sure knows it .
Chacha ji and Varad were shocked for sure but I also think they were releved when Shalok namedAastha.
I don't know why ?
Chacha ji also smiled when Shalok said he keep his promise like his dad :p.
I think Mariage is going to happen shalok is all into his game and he is not going to back off or leave aastha in middle.

Coming to your comment, here are my thoughts,

1. I don't think marriage is happening anytime soon. There's still a lot more drama that is going to happen. Astha's consent, Avdoot/Kalindi's consent, Agnihotri family's reaction etc.

I am pretty sure quite a lot of things will unfold before this marriage happens.

2. More than cute, I found Astha possessive & slightly egoistic today. Her 'chalo' was seriously meant for Shlok. She wants him to propose to her, him to make the 1st move. She was playing hard to get.

3. Shlok getting hurt - that is a MUST. But again, I don't think that its coming anytime soon. Still a lot more to happen.

4. Kalindi/Avdoot are spineless. That's all I can say.

i was a little surprised too that they didn't reveal some more about anjali-niranjan relationship. it was a good opportunity. if not niranjan, anjali could've been shown at unease but hey ho, i guess we'll just have to wait.
i think everyone is just helping each other out, intentionally or unintentionally. whether its shlok fulfilling his fathers wish or anjali fulfilling her husbands and shloks, unintentionally. all is happening in favour of niranjan.
as for astha, i think she was liking it deep down 😉 but she knew in reality it wasn't rite.

Gosh, Shlok seriously can't control his hormones. Astha is totally enjoying it. She purposely wore the sari for him, so that he would come close to her.

Marriage announcement to Tanya 😆 ... She could not do that in front of Shlok but she cried her heart out in front of her mom 😳

Poor Aashta is being taken for a ride for sure. Shlok only appears to be dancing to her tune but, in actuality she is dancing to his.

I m surprised how dis father-son duo actualy comunicate thru silence😕Since the show started v dint realy get them talkng abt smthg openly..bt kya rapo hai!!👏In astha is goin to have a hard time makg shlok understnd NA's true colors!
