First para ... I don't think they would've gone to bare basics of does science belive in souls ...they probably would've showed that religious rituals might be rooted in science rather than superstition ... That's what I believe they wanted to show ...but things went haywire ..

Instead of romance they were selling all kinds of plots ... Dark hero , acid burn victims , PTSD, transgenders ...it was all over the place ... Which makes me think they were not sure of what they are selling ... I believe while shooting for Tanhaiyan ..Gul floated this idea and barun jumped in ???sounded good to all ... But they didn't think through or didn't have the time to think through ... They were overjoyed that Barun agreed and they hurriedly arranged the script ... It's just my feeling ...it really doesn't feel like a well workshopped project TBH.

If they had stuck to the original story - CHandni falling for Advay pre-marriage, I think we would have seen some pretty intense scenes... maybe that's why they chickened out... Advay got bashed too much for not doing much! My BABY!
