I respect your views. The original concept that the religious rituals can be explained through science was good thing except that science is not a religion. Religion is related to spirituality while science doesn't believe in soul.

The meeting of science and spirituality is something which looks good on paper but impossible to exhibit on screen like you mentioned above with different examples. Also. there were already too many subplots going on. They should have kept things simple. focus on main story,get it established and then move on to next one and usually gul is really good at it. This time, I just don't know why the team acted so unprofessionally.

The CGI effects are best suited to paranormal/fantasy genre, gul is expert in mills and boons romance, she should focus on her strengths. and she should make paranormal dramas to deal with science and philosophical matters.

I am just sad among all this we didn't get the chance to enjoy more of barun and shivani and even indrani!

I have only watched the SRK version and from that it was quite young - but I don't think they were suppose to have a 8 year age gap...

Chandni being in love with Dev -I am sure was not part of the original story it got introduced in week 6, quite abruptly.. and then once they shifted to Mumbai it became the DevNi story - a lot simpler to resolve than the Adni story in a short time!

The first 2 weeks and the last 3 episodes, + ore piya scene I think we saw the real original chandni characterisation! Otherwise she was being reinvented every week, ending up being just a full time victim of life rather than a strong character healing character that we were promised in the lead up of the show...
