Hola folks...
I wasn't planning to make a Sushpective...but today's episode compels me to do so...even though I am traveling and this is the last thing that I show be doing!

What an episode today!! I was blown away...The emotional grip the story took in this episode has never happened before!

First there was Chnadani...all distressed because she knows one Mr Advay Dingh Raizada is deliberately spoiling everything her family has wanted and he is doing it right in front of her eyes...at the same time he is playing with her emotions...injecting himself into the ceremonies...playing with her emotions...leaving her all confused at best and manipulated at worst...She tried to fight...tried to take control of the situation...but realized that she is no match for him...and finally all the frustration and helplessness came out in those really harsh words for him...He doesn't understand what love is...doesn't care for what relationship means...what family means...he is out to destroy everything...
From her point of view...those allegations made perfect sense...from what she can see...he is out there to destroy her mother's wishes...first about the Khazana...now about her marriage...Little did she know what those words mean for him...how hurtful those are...given what he has been through...

Barun was his absolute best today...The change in his emotions listening to Chandani's words...transformation from an arrogant man...to a hurt child...the pain he felt...the memories that came along...the impact! There is a reason people are under his spell for more than 5 years...even when they haven't seen him...This is what he can do...this is the caliber when the writing matches up! Behind those good looks...there is an amzing actor...who can make the audience feel the emotions...with an intensity no one can...BRAVO!! 👏

It was really great direction to have Chandani's monologue also at the same time ...topping it off by Murshi...commentary...summing up the situation...Murshi being the Sutradhar of the story!

Advay's reaction to Chandani's words are not of anger alone but the first emotion is of being hurt...of feeling miserable beyond words...then remembering...what has brought it upon him ...Not using any FBs beyond the happy times with his family was also a clever choice...it put the focus rightfully on the loss he has felt...the loss his family had...their name...their reputation...and finally their lives...all taken from them...by the family of the very same girl...who he adored at one time...and still feels a sort of connection to...ending it with where it has left him...He has got to avenge his family's loss...his target is the family's reputation...and his first link is Chnadani herself...

But at the same time...when he looks at her...begging for forgiveness...being humiliated in front of all...being letched upon by the guy she thinks has sincere intention of marriage...he can't tolerate it ...despite trying so hard to restrain himself...He wants to subject her family to humiliation...starting with Chandani...yet he can't even see her being humiliated in a family gathering...that's what makes this show...Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam

BItuwa in white shirt and blue jeans in a scene like this...! Sush pinches herself...if this is real...or just an imagination ...

On a lighter side...what's the height difference between Advay and Chandani? She looks so tiny here...😆

And finally the scene between Chandani and Advay...

She tries to push him away with all the strength she can gather...tells him to leave the room...tells him not to touch her...

He retorts back...what about PP touching her? She hasn't given much thought to that...what about it? That's when he spells it out...he will NOT let that happen...goes into his pyschotic avatar...He will kill them both if PP dares that...she is shocked and fearful now...but he surprises her by respecting her wishes...His obsession is not just for her...everything that is hers is his...including her wishes...Which he will respect...That was a fine line to walk...and the writers and the director walked it well, at least for today...keeping the intensity but still leaving room for him to be liked...

Ok guys I am done...feel free to post...

I am liking the episodes this week Sush. Despite all the entertainment we get the story is taking up shape. Viewers are getting the real feel of Iss Pyaar ko kya naam doo? 👏 Dev does do a peek a boo behind Advay and we can see that he not much far behind. The manipulative self made person of today by heart is still that teenager who was deprived of everything.

Unhappy is he to whom the memories of childhood bring only fear and sadness.

H. P. Lovecraft

Sobti aces that scene where the hurtful words of Chandni makes an impact on Advay bringing out Dev in him. ⭐️👏

Is one right and other wrong? What right does Chandni have to speak those words? I can feel many will ask this question. To me those were the words of frustrated, lost, confused soul who is not even sure what is happening to her and why? She can not see her family down and will do any thing for that. She is even ready to say Sorry for no mistake of her. Just to fulfill her mother's wish.

Dignity is not negotiable. Dignity is the honor of the family.

So far Indrani is beating the drum that her dignity should not be lost so why now is she ready to put her daughter to task? Why is she so keen on marrying her to that PP by hook or crook? Just for money?

What made that sorry palpable was Advay feeling for honour. He did not like her sorry. He can play enough games with Chandni however no one can play with her dignity or honour. Sach mein Iss pyaar ko kya naam do?

Today I even liked the meeku/shikha scene,It was cute. I am glad that the lady bheem avatar of Shikha is toned down.

Coming to the best part of the story today was Advay/Chandni confrontation.

I am not sure if that was the declaration of

love or obsession?

Hate or Love?

Possessiveness or detachment?

Respect or Contempt?

Sach mein Iss pyaar ko kya naam doo?

A big shout to dialogue writer as well for the lines:

"Tum chaahe galat ho ya sahi ho...

Tum chaahe aansoon ho ya khushi ho...

Tum chaahe dard ho ya duaa...

Chaahat ho ya nafrat ho...

Jo bhi ho, jaisi bhi ho...

Tum sirf meri ho Chandni"

PS - Loved the dresses today. Both Chandni and Advay looked

PPS - Finally we have someone who is positive in the family ( mama)

PPPS - Loved the narrative avatar of Shilpa and tanatan.

PPPS - (While I am at PS's 😆) Jyada bolna sahet ke liye accha nahin hain so i will stop now😛😆

Word! BHavi!! Like you...I feel Chandani was as justified in saying what she said to him as Advay has been in holding those grudges against her...both directed by their own hurt...more than how guilty or deserving the other person is of their treatment of them...

In bold ...totally agree...today it was shown in a way that looked sincere and made sense...it wasn't just about possession...

Where was Meeku Shikha scene in today's episode? My online link didn't have it...

Infact ...when Ady was crying thinking about his family...I wanted it so much for Mikku to run into him and call him bade bhaiyya...

Must be yesterday then Sush - I watched 2 episodes together😳 The one where she sees her footage on a camcorder.
I too thought that Meeku may enter today and see him broken. But can not complaint. It was a one of the best so far.😃

Nice post Sush.
Today's episode was great. Absolutely close to the kind I expected see when this show started.
Shivani is apparently 5'2 and Barun is 5'9. Not sure though. Read somewhere, dont remember where.

This big bear hug is for you for taking out time during your vacation to write a post on today's episode. I have always believed that IF has played a big part in enhancing my experience of watching a show and a post like this is icing on the cake.

More than anything, today's episode restored my faith in this show that I have been clinging into, in spite of all the cribbing I do on a daily basis. It's probably the first episode since the beginning, where I have watched it start to end, without skipping a single scene for a single sec.

Nobody can make me cry the way Barun does. He touches my heart in the most special way ❤️

As I mentioned yesterday, Chandni's words were the result of all the frustration and confusion she has been hiding since the day Gul's Dark Knight has stepped into her life. Those words were bloody harsh and it brought out the little dev, who was hiding behind Advay. What I really loved about the scene was, how unabashedly Advay cried, with no filters that are usually used for AYM characters on TV.

My most most most favorite scene was the mirror one where Advay showed his psycho side. I was left wondering how he made me cry 5 minutes back and now I was cringing at this stalker giving creepy looks 😆 'Use maar doonga' was expected, but 'tumhe bhi' added to it was totally paisa vasool. It's one of the best written, directed and enacted scenes of IPK3 👏

Special credit to the dialogue writer and also to Tanatan and his to be gf 😳

My wish: Someday I want to see Dev's journey since he left Allahabad and I hope there will at least one person in the position of a parent.

I am still wondering where in the world will an outsider be allowed to do a rasam just because the groom passed out, but today Harneet, the writer, tweeted such nice things about Advay, so I will let it be 😆

A sensible change in wardrobe can do wonders to our sensibilities ..
today we felt the connection..the dialogues were Super
I am just loving barun in this role it's quite different from his previous much loved role .
But advay as a character I don't like ..
it's too dark I am not even sure whether I want to ship this is as a love story
Because it is right now obsession revenge ..
Asli duniya too many girls have fallen victim to these stalking obsessive kinds of guys I find it difficult to label this as romantic 😕

Logically she knows this guy is a fraud can be a criminal he holds 4 different types of passport .. he could buy their haveli in a blink of an eye .. who had that much loose change a man who says he's a professor . Then has a lot of explosives on hand can do wierd mechanical stuff with pulleys ..
he can very well be an anti social guy 😃

He's just being obsessive with her why should any girl even find him romantic ..

The Writers will have to do a lot to bring back the change in advay ..
Personally I am loving barun in this role .. but don't find advay adorable
