I didn't bother with IPK-2 because I knew it wasn't a 4lions production and I have a genuine regard for their ability to create a good romantic story. Barun being a part of it only a very small fraction of the deal.

So my point is, most people who watch this show/ come to the forum might not be here for reasons most people visit other TV forums/watch TV shows 😉

Now I like the entire cast

Well lets put it this way , a senseless Salman Khan movie like Jai ho, Kick or even Tubelight for that matter of fact makes 1oo crore. Why is that so? It is because Salman is a brand. We go into it expecting 10hr long eye locks and trip and fall and brush and graze of skin and all the dhak dhak and acidity while different versions of rabba vey blast away in the BG.

So we are talking about a brand here. Barun is the brand of IPK itself. ( well yes so is Sanaya). But if either were to return to IPK alone or together i think they have all the right to as they were the ones who created the magic with IPK.

Well TBH even if sanaya was to come back in next season without Barun , i would still sit and watch the show for her, as she too is the brand of IPK.

There are too many shows on the TV with shoddy concept , screenplay dialogues and sequences, Yet they manage to garner TRP's and appreciation.

Here we have the king himself, gracing out TV screens after 5 long years. Instead of criticising and nit picking, we need to sit down and give the show a chance.

To answer your question : No , Barun is not why I started watching, The fact that it is IPKKND is what piqued my interest. Barun is only the icing on the cake. I came with a certain expectation and so far the show has impressed me. i am loving all the characters, the chemistry and the story line too seems really good.

The character is that of an anti hero, who has dealth with personal tragedy that we cannot even imagine or empathise with. ONLY BARUN and no one other than BARUN can justify this complicated complex character of Advay.

Ok Yes i also am here for BARUN SOBTI, but thats because i want to see how well Barun steps into Advays character. I want to enjoy this journey of IPK with Advay Singh Raizada and am only grateful that it will be Barun who will be taking us on this journey. I am not here to watch Barun try to do a Arnav, this story belong to Advay and Chandini and I am here to watch these two burn down the screen with their anger, passion, lust , hate and love.

The BGM's are remixed version of Rabba vey and I don't think there is anything wrong in that. There are many remixes of old classics happening even in bollywood, so what if IPK do the same.

Most of us are not justifying the short coming or the flaws in the show. If you were to read the posts on this forum , many of the posts, including the ones that i have written , all clearly criticise the negatives. We are here to have a good time. We will appreciate and we will criticise but all the while we will love Barun and Gul for having the courage to face all the criticism and still create such a magical show for us.

To all the folks accusing us to be S1 fanatics plz remember that its only from Sachin or Kohli that ppl expect centuries game after game. If its Ishant Sharma batting people might not even bat an eye if he scores a golden duck.

So yeah v might criticize heavily & nit pick coz that is the standard that we expect from BARUN SOBTI!

My only reason to be related to ipk3 is Barun.

I would have watched it if Barun was not there but starting promos were same...I said that same even before show started
Also I watch tv for entertainment...I sweared not to watch IB because Gul messes it At end...but I couldn't stop myself from watching IB. threemonths after start ...that time I realised I wi'll be watching all Guls show no matter what ! They r not perfect...her shows have flaws but still better in my opinion compared to others

As far as criticism and appreciation is concerned, I have done both and as per my experience, the forum is biased towards positivity. I have received around 20 hate mails for posting in forum. They were essentially harmless post and were fun take on happenings of show. But I am branded of being a closet IPK3 basher. Brand is a confusing thing

So the gist is you're here because of her fact that Barun is doing IPK3.

Well going by that theory, if Barun Sobti wasn't in IPK1, would people have watched it? Let's imagine if it had been XYZ, instead of the actual leads back then, then what?

I dunno. I just seem to find this a pointless post in order to take digs at the show. No one is saying the show is perfect. It has its flaws and yet most of us over here are hooked. I know I am!

People watch shows for their faves, it's natural and not rocket science. Some won't be tuning in due to biased feelings towards IPK1. And some people like me are tuning in because Barun Sobti is back and turning on the heat 😎 And I've been introduced to a very pretty and talented Shivani Tomar!

I hope I haven't come across as rude, because that's not in my nature. Lekin ab toh bas karo, yaaro!
