If Not For Barun...

I am watching ipk3 only that too for barun only,pace of the show has become so slowly lately nothing much is happening except cat and mouse game.

Watching it only for barun . Wouldn't have bothered of it if barun was not part of the show

If not for Barun? I wouldn't have known about the show probably, so...

of course for BARUN only I am watching the show.

In all these issues you have mentioned, there are more illogical shows. But as much as we pin it on Barun for being the only reason to watch, lets also accept that those who are criticising are also heavily biased sue to season 1. So lets reframe the question. If not for season 1, would people have been so critical of this show?

Would you have watched the show? Before everything, let me say that while I started watching this show for Barun mainly, I was also extremely happy with the story and still am. For now, it is the screenplay that is weird at times. So I would have started watching it because the promos were intriguing and I have a thing for hurt, intense male leads that too with a guitar. 😆 Plus, this is a Gul show and I usually find myself attracted to the way she portrays romance, so yes.

Watched it for the content? I would probably have gotten bored with the first week and not watch dedicatedly.

Watched it for the chemistry of lead couple? Since the only times I watched Kasam was when Shivani was there and since she would have been in Mohra opposite Barun, I would have wanted to see what kind of chemistry she would have with her co-star.

Watched it putting up with background music? Bg music has never been an issue for me. Not even when Naamkaran and 2 other shows have used Rabba Ve in their promos.

Watched it after the editing disaster? This one would have probably irked me but again, it wouldn't have been a major issue because the story would have intrigued me as it still does.

And still justify the shortcomings? The only times I analyse/criticise in detail is when it concerns Barun Sobti because his acting is as such - intricate. I guess I would have been exasperated at times with the screenplay but as I told you, story above all else 😆

Justify the technology? I would find and still do find the VFX distracting 😆

Justify the loose plot? I don't find the plot loose.

Justify the inconsistent character development? I don't find this inconsistent either.

Would you still give it time? I would skip a few episodes according to the chemistry and promos and precaps probably but knowing me, I would not totally let it go because it is a Gul show and Gul always chooses good leads, and undoubtedly, she would have chosen a good male lead, if not for Barun. Also, Gul's shows are the only ones I catch up with when I can 😆

Gul shows are not my cup of tea...i still can continue watching a EK show but definitely not a Gul show...her best is definitely Geet n IPK1...QH was good with KSG-KV...she destroyed...IB-DBO...i don't watch it...

But that said, I doubt anyone other than Barun Sobti would have been chosen to do justice to Advay Singh Raizada. Upar se Gul has offered him roles in all of her projects i.e Ahil in QH, Shivaay in Ishqbaaaz, Haider in Tanhaiyan and now Advay in IPKKND, barring Humsafars.

You said it all Niru...and yes Barun is the first reason to watch the show then its Gul because I liked her creations, so have watched 1st part of QH also...and now watching IB also, not regularly, but I do watch...and next Shivani also because she has been casted opposite Barun b4, so would have like to watch her also!!
