Series of Events that led to leap debacle *Updated* - Page 2

Even after all this mess we should pretend as if nothing had happened & we should pretend that the new lead didnt replace SC as she is not replacing the character Anika and she is playing new character opposite Dhinku 😆.And we should appreciate pathetic acting & script😆.Otherwise it is called bashing and spreading negativity😆Either we should change the channel or praise their epic content😆😆.we shouldn't feel disgusted😆😆.

After all the mess which has been done to take this leap, i am not able to decide whether i am biased or not towards this dib because it is very obvious that the way makers played dirty game to take the leap i can not enjoy even if it is the best tv serial, which is not the case.

One more - an insta convo between a fan and Gul where she said " coming soon " to a request by that fan for a pregnancy track after returning to RU, poor fans were excited for that but instead they get to see new Rome being built 😉 But before that they had to destroy the one that was built over 2.5 years !

That neatly sums up what a mess this has been ever since the Redux.
Even before Redux Basically from the time they came to vanvaas and KM raaz they had no clue how to take this further after that track ended. So they made it groupbaazi with endless song and dance sequences and dragged it till they could stretch it no further. But Shivika were so strongly established as characters and as a couple by then that they lasted all of this and still carried the show. But post Rudy ki shaadi and KM raaz from the time HS became showrunner they were completely clueless about how to take this forward and continue involving all the supersix who were piggybacking on Shivika so they had all those poorly done social messages track. Even there only the Hindi English episode really worked. They made a hash of the rest. And there was no one left to marry off. Shivika bhi aur kitni baar shaadi karte? Nikah bhi kar liya.
So they decided to go this AU route but basically had no will to tell a story anymore. Because the AU could have worked had they planned it properly and committed to it as a proper track. Instead they never sketched the characters properly with any thought other than just deciding to strip them of the traits that made Shivika special and unique without thinking how they were going to take the story forward with such lacklustre run of the mill characters. So when they found themselves floundering they changed the character sketch every couple of episodes and very quickly AU Shivika stopped making any sense at all. No one could connect or engage with them. It was only Narbhi's valiant efforts that made it still survive and the nostalgia and hangover of the fandom from RU Shivika which kept them still holding onto the show. But there was no character sketch and no plot. Instead of pulling up their socks and getting down to writing a story we just had random jadugaar and murders one after the other starting with Nancy then Tej and finally Shivika and now the murder hangover is carried forward into DIB. Jab Harneet ne poore show ko hi murder kiya and killed every bond on the show that people cherished ab aur kitne murder karegi? In all this I wonder why the show continued to air with such lack of interest from the makers.
This lack of interest is apparent in DIB too. Which just reinforces my belief that the whole leap was merely a cost cutting exercise. Gul would have cut costs further and probably even let NM go but SP probably wanted to have one known name.
The sad part is if no one was truly interested or committed to show any longer barring Narbhi ( because they worked hard in the lame Redux too despite having such flip flopping characters) why give so much heartbreak to the people who loved the show through all its highs and lows? Why not make the fans happy and give them something to cherish? This could been done gracefully without doing it so heartlessly and cruelly and for that Gulneet are entirely responsible.

Story of Ishqbaaaz had deteriorated long back and only the actors seemed to hold together the almost shitty script along with the loyal viewers both online and on television.If a change was required, it could have been an interesting track or even a leap.That could have been introduced gently blending with the story and leading to a natural conclusion. Was there any need to jumpstart it without logic,trying to erase the memories of last 2.5 years and absolutely decimate the emotions of loyal viewers,not to say disrespect the person who put her sweat and salt for 2.5 years? The producer is made of a different fibre and she has a coterie that blindly follows her. I have never come across such a brash and rude person and the way she replied to people on social media was disgusting to the core. I know she received flak on her pages but was there any need to retaliate? Being polite and handling it in a ladylike manner would have won her brownie points but no! Her mouth and fingers ran away to disaster.Entertainment industry thrives on the loyalty of viewers and disrespect of customers will never sustain any business for long and as they say,pride leads to downfall.

Almost all of this producer's shows start very well,run well,have good ensemble cast and leads but down the line she loses it! - both the story and her temper. The going then gets ugly. Problem with this production house is that they are resistant to good advice and fail to see the picture in the long run. Currently,there is this feeling that they are invincible with so many running shows,good rapport with the channel and they have this know-it-all feeling but tides change! Invincible citadels are invaded and conquered and in entertainment industry you cannot last very long if you dis respect the customers who put food on your table.

Currently,if anybody from the production team,be it the PH or the channel who is sane,logical and a bit grounded and who understands the pulse of the user/customer actually watches the episodes in a neutral manner,he/She will understand the low standard dished out after spending the huge amount of resources.
