One love.'Part OneGauri babyishly cuddled in between the sheets and pillows rubbing her eyes carelessly. She was feeling relaxed now. After one whole week of getting married and celebrating marriage festivities ... She got the time to sleep properly today after having lunch and now it is almost dinner time. The sun has gone to rest, the moon took his place as the darkness begins to surround her. She likes the darkness of the night, it hides her flaws, her imperfections, the scars burned onto her flesh, the stabs of knives left behind because of one Arjun Shastri. The moon guides her through the night. The calming presence makes me slowly close her eyes, her body quietly switching off; but she lets her soul run free. She can do the things she would never be allowed to do when the sun is out. She can do whatever she wants ...as her worries, her thoughts, silently burn into smoke as they wonder through the endless night once more. Along with it she likes the silence too. Peaceful."Hi Bride ... had a good sleep? Omkara asked trying to keep his clothes in a bag.Gauri kept looking at him. Quite ... for a moment. This man ... was her husband now ... who was now telling about how he has planned their Spain honeymoon. Reminding her that they have to leave tomorrow."You need something?"Ummm... Coffee?"Its almost dinner time Gauri ... you can have soup."Okay...Love became a dilemma Gauri as a woman tried to believe in. She has observed that people use this term to actually cover up their actual concern. Loneliness is what you get out of it; it makes your life miserable, breaks your heart into thousand pieces and still each broken part of your heart misses him like your heart missed her as whole. It keeps you obsessed with the idea of loving him, she had just missed his face his eyes his smile his scent all the time knowing that he is never going to get back to her. Life becomes vulnerable if you are enslaved by her thoughts, you try to be normal but you just can't. Each and every thing seems meaningless, at starting everything looks extraordinary and ecstatic but at the end you are left with nothing except agony and emptiness.Gauri had been through a similar kind of emptiness when Arjun did not agree to marry her. He had rejected her after saying that he loves her for almost two years. Had Gauri not have had the support and care of her mother ... all the efforts of nursing a tired and broken heart would have been more difficult. Her mother taught her about life and how she deserves to get all the happiness ... that she will have a man who will love her and cherish her and honor her and according to her mother that man has to be Omkara. She was broken because of Arjun, shattered really, robbed early of the tape and glue necessary to put her soul back together. Her heart, poorly stapled shut, was beating hard but without purpose, her skin stretched across her aching muscles like a worn canvas. Her mind was like a lost man at sea, desperate and starving for some reason to live. Desperate for a memory, good, warm, welcoming, one she could smile to. It was difficult to remember her smile, soft but contagious, it had stained her lips like blood, the same blood she could taste as she bit her tongue hard to keep from screaming. But no one had seen her smile, not since the first time she stepped into that office. Not since the first time that woman had touched her, her grip hot and menacing, her mind soaking in the fear and newfound pain, this woman, relishing every moment she could slip her hands inside of her, eyes darting all across her face and body, hungry, desperate to fill her own desire that could only be done by trespassing and taking what wasn't hers, what can be only taken once, holding her back and holding her down from a life that from the outside looked at only as one in repair, not in destruction. When she had many more such thoughts ... her mother had insisted that she marries Omkara. Gauri does not know that why does her mother like Omkara so much. He is a complete stranger to her . A stranger who is handsome and caring and can also cook good. A stranger who is her husband now. She is a stranger to Omkara too but he had said to her that he really likes her ... he had even approached to kiss her on their wedding night but that moment had become quite uncomfortable for Gauri.Saying yes to get married was a difficult decision for Gauri but she had decided that she would make that effort because even she deserves to live a life of happiness and even she deserves to be loved unconditionally. And she knew that she can trust Omkara ... the reason she said yes to him ... she believes that he is someone who is a part of her life because her Shankarji wants him to be so.No one feature makes Omkara so handsome, though his eyes come close. People often speak of the color of eyes, as if that were of importance, yet his would be beautiful in any shade. From them comes an intensity, an honesty, a gentleness. Perhaps this is what is meant by a gentleman, not one of weakness or trite politeness, but one of great spirit and noble ways. What he is, what is beautiful about him, comes from deep within; it makes her want to feel how his lips move in a kiss, how his hands follow the curves of her body. She wants to live with him ... and be loved as a husband should love his wife ... and she knows that he will respect her and take good care of her with the way he smiles at her ... as if his soul shines through his skin."Omkara ... can I ask you for something? She called for him to sit beside her on the bed."Yeah... say ...Are you not feeling well? ... do you need something? Omkara got worried."Omkara ... if I say I want you to kiss me ... will you kiss me ... right now ...Staring isn't quite the word for what Omkara was doing to Gauri though he would fit the dictionary definition to a tee. His eyes rest, not unblinking but slowed; yet the effect is soft and inviting instead of harsh. Perhaps it is his lips that give away her intention, not quite smiling but tilting as if they mean to. She was uncomfortable the last time when he tried to get close to her ... maybe she is trying right now ... he was liking her innocent and shy eyes."Do you think you need to ask me such a question? He teased her playfully."Please ..."Yeah I will ... if that is what you want.Unexpectedly, his hand drifted to her hip. It settled there and pulled her closer. She inhaled sharply. She was against his warm chest, chiseled to perfection. Must he be so perfect? She splayed her hand against it, intending to push him away, but instead she left it there. His breathing quickened as did hers. He began nuzzling her neck with delicate kisses. So faint, they were murmurs ... sweet nothings. She urged herself to push away, but could not. Her limp body began to tremble uncontrollably. His head was angled slightly to the side as his lips came closer and closer to hers. She was surprised to find her own lips parted. Their breaths mingled. Her heart fluttered inside her chest. At first, it was a delicate butterfly of a kiss. Then his arms encircled her. He drew her to him so that she can be encaged in his form."Thank you," she says in barely more than a whisper."For what?" He replies, his voice low and husky."For being you." Her voice wavers, exhilarated from the tension between them."Now you also have to kiss me like I kissed you...She blushed.Gauri gently leaned in and kissed Omkara's warms lips. They pull apart and take shaky, shallow breaths. Unable to contain themselves anymore, he held her head in his hands and pulls her into a fiery and passionate kiss. Her hands worked their way around his body, feeling each crevasse, each line along his perfect physique. She lay on her back as he matches her body's form. Omkara's hands ventured over her curved body, exploring. They pull apart and open their eyes. They stared at each other, deep into each other's eyes. Omkara is full of wonder and love, Gauri is full of curiosity and passion. No words are spoken but a story worthy of them is communicated. He leaned in and softly kissed up and down Gauri's neck. She let out little whimpers of anticipation. He works his way back to her tender, smooth lips. As they kissed she rolled him over and lies on top of his strong, muscular body. She ran her lips up his neck and lands a loving and intense kiss on his lips.

Brilliant!
But then you are master in this genre :)
Loved how you conveyed Gauri's state of mind, she was not committed to love for various reasons but not miserable thankfully. And Omkara, as sweetie as always.
Love the curiosity between the two - how they will explore new heights?
Lets see...
