Are relationships supposed to be transactional? Was the only reason Jhanvi had any affection for Shivaay that he let her sons have shares in the family business they didn't even work in?

I loved the word transnational that you used to define their relationship...Shivaay was sabse accha beta and most responsible beta till the time he was working his ass out to make the empire grow and floursish, and emotionally and financially shield all the ADULTS in the family...Once in his life time that he has done something that is so out of character, they dont care to penetrate through those layers to find out the truth...

The irony to me is that Shivaay didn't even keep up the act beyond the press conference...he was drowning in remorse and clearly showing it to the family too...anyone could CLEARLY see he didn't mean what he was saying...but Jhanvi was willing to throw him out of the house, willing to disown him from the family, telling him that he is no longer a brother to Rudy simply because he wouldn't tell her the reason? 😕

This...is the worst part for me...she knows there is a reason...yet chose to disregard it completely...Yes she asked him, but if he hasnt given you a reason, cant you just probe further and find your ways to give him the strength and confidence that his family is capable of handling pressures and they can together work as a unit to overcome the challenge...And despite all what he has done she actually dared to call him his dushman...are you serious woman!!!

And let's recap some of Tej's shenanigans, shall we? Openly paraded a mistress around the family for many years, openly tried to undercut Shivaay in business many times, openly tried to light his own wife on fire, feed his son to a crocodile...did ANY of these qualify him to be thrown out of the house and disowned by the family? Ironically no. Shivaay doesn't tell them the reason for one blackmail and he's out the door? 😕😆

So Shivaay's fault is not that he didn't tell them the reason...his REAL fault is that he LET them take him for granted all these years, LET them expect so much of him that now they feel ENTITLED to throw him away if he isn't doing what they expect him to do.

And I loved Pinky for standing up for her son and showing each family member a mirror and reminding them of their shortcomings and responsibilities and how Shivaay has supported them come what may without judging them and without being their 'SAGA' so to say...And in all situations given them priority over his life...Like she says 'Kis mitti ka bana hai tu SHivaay'...

Clearly, confiding in his family wouldn't fix anything either...when the faith of his family was SO fragile that it hardly took one gust of wind to scatter them away...that is the real truth that was revealed this week.

Tej never become a dushman after trying to kill his own son. Will jhanvi throw omru out for the same sin that shivaay committed?
n she was the one saying again n again that she never differentiate between them. Atleast pinky was never a hypocrite since start and never called omru her sons 🤢

The great wall who glued this dysfunctional family as one unit is leaving OM after being accused of breaking it. Irony just died a painful death *slow claps*

Awww those GIF's AY...Really emotional bits there...
I cant stop admiring NM for his work...👏

Almost in every GiF , Shivaay is trying to silence his brother and comfort him at the same time...He has taken complete ownership of the situation...and continues to respects Jhanvi's perspective and takes responsibility for her stance...

Its amazing how NM is showing multiple emotions at the same time, he is destroyed at the thought of being weaned off from his family, he is showing regret, defeat and he is overwhelmed with the support he continues to get from his little brother 👏👏👏

Like Fary says, he justifies every award that he has received...

love all the gifs so much but esp these 2

it's like they are talking to a statue standing there no reaction jo expressions no movement except occasional blink yet countless emotions he is literally liek a zinda laash as what people call at this moment and yet poeple have the audacity to call him dushman. had they ever seen him so lifeless ever? not even when anika left him . ye went into zombie zone but still tried to give the impression ke he is fine and nothing happened even though a lot was happening internally but here he doesn't even have the courage to do that to pretend to be normal

if this doesn't break your heart i don't what will

also this

i love the way anika gives these little pecks to whoever she is trying to console but notice him curling his lips in anger in frustration it is killing him seeing his dadi like that but aaj he cannot even say a word to these ladies who pushed his dadi when once anika said 1 word to dadi during separation and he lost it it was the sentence to dadi that made him lose it before that he was trying to not let it all go out of control and aaj yeh haal hai

Agreed with everything you said but does it look like some calculated move on her part. No! It was an emotional move done to make sure that Tej does not become even more agitated. I don't think everyone takes Shivay for granted. It's just that Jhanvi Tej Pinky and Shakti have always been less cordial towards each other's children. I can assure you had it been om in place of Shivay Pinky would have done worse and not even because her husband had a heart attack!

@Manisha and Fary: Thanks, guys!

And finally here's batch 3 with the ultimate emotional culmination to this week...this scene really hit hard for me cuz it had that sense of finality and inevitability to it regarding the vanvaas...Rudy's shattered "Ru ko Shivaay kaise chhod ke jaa sakta hai?" was the final emotional blow in a sense

Rudy alternating b/w pleading/placatingly trying to get through to Shivaay to ask him to stay and then bursting out in frustration when Shivaay wouldn't listen...couldn't help but note what a MIRROR image he is of Shivaay in many ways...and Lee really presented those shades very well today

And then there was NM...we've probably lost count of all the nuances we've praised of his this week but in this scene also, some bits really touched me...the way he was trying to keep it together just so he can give Rudy some reassurance...cracks would show in the facade when he'd try to shut it all down by saying I've made up my mind...then his own moment of burst out frustration, then again trying to reign it in to samjhaao Rudy literally like a little kid that he has to sambhaalo himself so that he can sambhaalo everyone else...the way he was soothingly patting down Rudy's head there...and then finally his expression in the very end in the hug...as Shivaay gives in to the tears at last after holding them in for so long...super touching scene...
