I think this entire track was very much necessary for Annika. We all know how Annika always shys away from intimacy. Maybe because she is an orphan and that makes her completely unaware of what physical intimacy means in a relationship. Ofcourse she can't be blamed for this coz cumon as a child we all were like that. What I mean is as a child or even during our teenage days we would consider physical relations to be bad' and good people don't do these kinds of things and yeh to paap hai' and all. Its only after we become mature enough we understand these things thanks to or mothers or elder sister or anyone elder. Even I used to think that way before, I mean when first understood how babies are born I was shocked thinking that my parents too did that'. But Annika has got no one in her life to which could have shared these kind of stuff. We all know she used to take tips about love from saahil. And she also watches only Bollywood films aur humari hindi movies ka to sab ko pata hai (now the time is changing aswell).

Yes she knows that she loves shivaay and vice versa and she is very much secure with him but maybe she was not aware that shivaay does expect something more from her. So this track was necessary to make her realize that she has an amazing husband who is patiently waiting for her to take some initiative in taking their relationship to next level, without any complains he is just waiting for the time when his wife is completely comfortable with it. Also by seeing how happy everyone were hearing that news gave the right push.
