Wow.

Xactly same emotion for me.

Its 4 this same reason that I haven't IB for last 4 days.

What Shivaay has done is beyond redemption. He cant justify it by saying that he had done this for family because where does Anika stand then?

A lot of people are watching this show and this show justifies emotional harassment meted out to women. I know its asoap n all but to an extent it influences thought process oof people.

And biggest joke is this show is written and produced by 2 women who claimed to be feminists.

I am.also.a married women, I stand with my hisband and there is a natiral instinct to protect and cherish him, but if he ever do such stunts even 4 joke , I will not forgive him.

Because. such acts are way beyond redemption

I don't have much expectations now,so taking the episode one at a time now... For me the only time we saw SSO really thinking about annika was when the lights went out and he knew she's alone and scared! Otherwise I didn't see any pain or guilt from his side at all this week! But let's see if CVs do give us something tonight or like always CVs ignore annika!

so coming back this time i wont give my POV, i have already ranted a lot since Monday on this forum now... see we are so much invested in shivika that some fans are always justifying their actions. that's why this time i will put forward my mum's POV here, who is a simple trp viewer( well she watches on TV at least😆)

for one my mum didnt even know shivika got married if she didnt watch the repeats on the weekend, and then we all know what happened since Monday... surprisingly she kept her calm though she was a bit disappointed with this illogical reboot. but finally yesterday she give her POV, and that was based after that hug in the dark room... her words are

" she shouldnt have had to beg for this! her trust in him is commendable! but his lack of trust and compassion seeing her break like this is also a fact too. Guess the writer thinks marriage is only about romance or fights or blackmails or vows😆, she doesnt know that marriage is more that, it's about respect, trust, team, consideration and sharing... and much much more"

she clearly feels that SSO failed utterly this time. she also feels that SSO has taken Annika for granted, though she agrees that SSO sacrificing Annika isnt the issue, anyone will do anything for family and later repent, but Annika as his wife deserved the truth at least.

lol i havent discussed about Om yet with her, i wonder what she think about what Om did now😆

anyway like i said, the CVs havent themselves learnt anything from the mistake Annika did few months back, where she decided for them, and again SSO did them. Only difference Annika saw behind the fake acts while SSO never did then.

anyway i hope that we get something logical today from SSO, because as per synopsis he's gonna reveal Annika the truth.

I agree with your Pearl...and like NYC said that Shivika scenes have to be watched as stand alone ones. The story went down the drain long time ago. The latest trend is to use FF for most of the episode and watch the episode to enjoy Narbhi's performance for they take it up a notch every time.

This just makes me so sad! Takkar ki jodi, indeed! Man who repeatedly insults wife with no repercussions, and wife who takes it all without getting even the slightest bit angry. And then after all the begging and pleading and crying for recognition, he holds her and says 'Annika' apparently... and twitter reaction: "omg! He said 'Annika'!! The best husband ever!". Can you imagine?! I do feel for the impressionable young girls who think this is the norm, but I'm even sorrier for the married women who seem to think emotions other than anger and lust from a man are unacceptable, that they make him a woman!
Agh! What's the point of getting myself worked up about ppl's reactions to a fictional show, right? Just wish the lady writer had a sense of responsibility to the audiences in stead of writing any trope that sells.

As always bang on..couldn't agree with you more. The way you describe the nuance of the issue is always treat to read.. 👏

I was so down and disconnected with IB for the same reason. I tried to avoid watching it but my love and addiction for Shivika is not leaving me.. 😭 So today I watched in detached mode completely ignoring their situation and third angle. . So I enjoyed their scenes in bits and pieces.Makers are so lucky they got incredible actors like NM SC

To be honest till date I didn't had an issue with Shivaay's misbehavior towards Annika( few complaint during separation track but then again I gave him a pass for his brotherly love) - MU , forced marriage because I took him as a grey person and is completely justified to his character traits. To anyone outside his family he is ruthless and judgmental. But now she is your rightful wife for whom he gave 15 mins of love monologue and had a dream wedding. My main problem is again Om has to make him realize that he is hurting Annika and sorry I kind find felt NM was off during today's emotional hug scene there is no guilt, sadness that he is doing this to love of his life who he claims can't see tears in her eyes. Irony..

I remember commenting on a post that the CVs have made a joke of the institution of marriage. I think it was after Shivika's forced marriage and Rudra and Soumya's nasha-induced shaadi.
I do not and never condoned the ShivIka forced wedding but that was, I believe, part of the plot from the very start. I do not justify the wedding or the way it was done but again we as viewers kinda knew that it was not going to be a wedding that was going to be a happy one but we also knew the end game was ShivIka so there was the 100% possibility of a remarriage in happier times (like IPK)

The one that threw most of us in a spin I think was the RumYa wedding in a doped state. That was a major shock for us all, especially for me.
I for one was very surprised at how casually it was done and broken as well when it suited the PH. That was a low for a PH that is supposedly headed by female activists.

I also wrote that I hoped the lekhikas wouldn't give ideas to the young and impressionable people watching the serial that yeh sab chalta he in a shaadi and that you have to put up with such demeaning nonsense that kills your self-respect to maintain a relationship with a man.

In the months that have followed, I haven't had the good fortune to change my mind. Gul and co have only reinforced my opinion. lol ... if anything it has only gotten worse with every track

This particular track of Anika-Shivaay-Tanya is cringe worthy on many levels. What is it supposed to prove? That two don't make a marriage and only three do? That Anika-Shivaay share a rare trust between them that can't be broken by Shivaay's involvement with other women? Sorry, that doesn't really work with me.

My main question (and it is still unanswered on twitter by writer saheba, not that I ever hope for an answer) is very simple.

What is the purpose of introducing Tanya as his wife to the media and the world?

The answer some people gave is for her to keep an eye on him 24/7 and to control him. Well Mrs. K did that very effectively without living with Shivvay in the same bedroom 😉

So did Tia and Svet.

That leaves only 2 options as far as I see.

1. Either writer saheba is suffering from partial amnesia herself and has forgotten her own past tracks

2.she gets some kinda of sick high envisioning him as a married man with another woman who is blackmailing him to be married to her and sharing his room with him, while the wife is suffering anxiety and pain.

As a married woman myself, I cannot tell you how disgusting that is to even imagine your husband doing something like that while you stand there like the mistress.

No woman on earth who loves her husband will let him share their bedroom with another woman, let alone share him with a woman he calls his wife, even if it is under ML. What is being shown right now in the serial is demeaning to all women and what they are making Anika do and emote is insulting to all women with half a brain. But yet there are those extolling the wonderful script and plot she is weaving ...lol And mind you they are all women themselves 😆😆 Amazing ain't it!??

Shivaay says Pari can be his. There is a teardrop in Anika's eye and she looks shocked for a moment. Then she gets on with her duty of looking after the baby. Yaar, he was in a relationship with Tia for 3 years, right? How can he have a 9 month old baby with another girl? Poochna chahiye tha na? But no. Anika remains silent and takes the bullcrap.

Of course!! That is what a ideal wife should do - did you not know that!??😲😲

I was shocked that people wanted him to adopt Pari even after the mother showed up ...lol

I mean she is a cute kid and all but what crap is that!??

Does Annika's not deserve to have children of her own from him!?? Or should she let another woman do that for her as well in the name of being a good wife??

As a supportive wife you will be a mother to all his illegitimate children and more, even though he has no time to make any of them with you because he keeps sacrificing and disowning as his legally married wife, in the name of Family honor. It is his whim and fancy- he can even accept children left on the door step with a note attached to their cute little basket whether they are his or not. You are just a glorified nanny - not a wife

These are the same people who have issues with ShivIka SR even being mentioned forget it actually happening so that they share a normal marriage. Is it me or is this thought not twisted?? 🤣

And the scene with a random girl being found in their bed after a night of heavy partying. He Bhagwan! Anika's reaction to Shivaay's attempt at an explanation blew my mind.

lol ... that took the icing on the cake man... I get trusting your husband and all .. we all do ... but not even letting him explain!! ... come on!! She sounded so eager to show what a 'chill' wife she was ...lol

During Anika's ML, Shivaay and Anika used to communicate via messages. Why can't they do it now? Writer Saheba is suffering from Partial Amnesia like Shivvay ... she luuuvvss him so much that when she grows up she wants to be him ... 😉😉

And what is the value of their promise to always face troubles together? Zero. I have said it before ... those promises came with an expiration date - 'Shivvay marriage vows (with a 'V') : Best before 15 days' 🤣 🤣

You know, I think they brought in the kabaadiwala on purpose. He deserves to take their promises and vows, dump them in his bag and push off. And no, they don't deserve the dinner set in return. omg!!! this was ... 🤣

A very big hug to your mom. Glad to know TRP audience is not taking this crap ( I hope they are many) but what happened to teenage girls? Why twitter is going ga ga over the track and giving justification of his actions. Biggest irony is the same set of gals bashed Annika left and right when she did mistake of succumbing to blackmail and left him. I failed to understand whats the difference. Actually there is a difference she didn't shove a third angle in his face to make him hate. This double standards is pissing me more.

I'd say it was painful seeing hubby leaving his wife on their first night and all but why did he do it is the bigger issue here. Someone knows that Annika is the ultimate strength Shivaay has. She has saved the Oberois from cut throat situations. The same person(not revealed yet) is targeting the senior members keeping the great wall of Sso distracted and his support system out of the picture. That's why Tanya is here-to avoid Shivaay discussing his issues with Annika coz together they can face the wrath and save their family.

Life is complicated and everything is always a mess. We would never get shivika happy and out of trouble as long as Ishqbaaaz is running. This is the policy in all the shows be it Hollywood or tellywood. Being a huge game of thrones fan I'd further add that life is a roller coaster ride and death is the doom-an end to every dilemma in the world. So never expect shivika to be free of all the issues. That would be the greatest mistake by the fandom.

Adding further, dear fandom pls stop bashing harneet if you don't have any idea where the plot is going coz we always get answers to all our questions and bashed at some point of time and are dumbstruck. Keep the entertainment n surprises alive for the series. Being curious is good for the show but useless bashing is harmful.
