@ananya : She was the smartest after shivaay? Maybe thats why two smart people should never come together as and for anything. They phelao too much more raita instead of sameting the one thats already phelaoed.

Maybe they'll make omkara bring back the real gauri...

Maybe they'll get him make her realise that she is perfect the way she is ( atleast for HIM )

After all the uniqueness of gauri is in the fact that she believes in herself and is confident about herself and doesn't believe in changing for the sake of someone but herself...

Let's consider that she's lost somewhere... and hope that her better half atleast brings her out of this mess...

I bet you felt better getting that off your chest! i for one like the education track but as you said i want Gauri to be educated for herself not cus she wants acceptance and yes i totally agree that she needs to stop forcing herself on O like that is not the G we came to love all these months

Dangal track created little bit closeness between n all the dialogues Omkara gave such as
Tum bhi parivar ka hissa ho
Main tumhe kuch nshi hone doonga
Hamari Jodi sahi hai hum sath hai to Sab ko hara sakte hai
Dangal uncle bhi hame shiv Parvati Bol rahe the

Gauri distracted n started expecting ki Omkaraji ab mujhe biwi bolenge
Than chai wala Scene where he did not acknowledge her his wife it was hurtful she got emotional n sad ( she forgot momentarily that she was returned as sirf bahu not to get wife status ) than major hit she got was Omkara ka exhibition where he rather giving her emotional support he lashed out her n questioned why did she come , people are making fun of her , if u can't answer why did u give her answer

Yes Sab hone ke bad she blamed herself for ruining his exhibition n reputation but finally she realised that she is not good enough for him n his status

Shivay saw n consoled her as they share good bonding he suggested self grooming English is good for her to manage n deal n help outside world including Omkara

So Gauri is on self grooming self improving learning English for herself is not character butchering why don't we wait n see what happens next rather than concluding everything in one day :)

I don't know if it is complete character butchering. Since her wedding, gauri has done things for om. She was and is still willing to do anything for him. Because her loyalty lies to him and to their relation. And she felt embarrassed in art exhibition because she thinks this has put om in bad light. yes she is not comfortable doing this. But she is willing to take chances, risks,improve herself for omkara. And because shivaay, who she trusts and who she believes knows om better than anyone, suggested this. gauri agreed.

Honestly, I feel you, but I'm not surprised. From the start Gauri was the typical desi serial lead, but she had a backbone in DBO. Even though her PP mode annoyed me I felt like her character had potential especially with Shrenu playing the role. She has an ability to showcase an variety on emotions. I was hoping we would get to see Gauri's backstory or her at least doing her own thing.

I like the shows and have been watching from the start. I don't have any expectations, but the utter discard for the FLs bothers me. Only three setting for the FL: Start out badass, feel insecure, and cry about not being accepted. There is no buildup or anything with Rikara. One minute it's sirf bahu then the next it's "what is this relationship?". As a fan, it's disappointing that Gauri is changing herself and waiting around to be accepted. She could want to do better and be better for herself.

The reality is that the FLs aren't meant to be explored or grow. The whole point is they are showpieces with a heart of gold. As the audience, you like them and root for them, but the writers use them as plot devices for drama and TRPs. They are butchered badly that eventually you stop rooting for their characters. No life, no story, no self-esteem, run around in biwi/bahu mode while being insulted, and no development ever.

I'm sitting here just waiting a decent FL-centric track for the FLs that will never come. Now, we have rumors of sisters tracks and group marriages. No character development and now backstories (and shaadis) are wholesale 😆

Side note: No one is smart on IB. The vamp that is equivalent to 10 vamps wears a mask and is pretending to be Kaveri. The characters have moments of clarity for the track to move forward, but all that goes out the window for forced conflicts or to let the vamps win.There are some characters that do handle things on their own no matter how badly the script is written. Anika, Shivaay, Tej, and Gauri were one of them in the past. The writers can include the ensemble cast without the character butchering and lazy writing.

Sorry for the rant, but the show has been annoying for months now.
