Why are makers butchering Gauri? *A rant post* - Page 3

Regarding Gauri learning English after exhibition incident is to move forward to improve urself

I dont find any character butchering in thus education track. Now gauri is confused and doesnt know what to do next. So she is following shivaay reluctantly. Even yday she seemed to be nervous and not sure how this is gonna to turn out.

Frankly gauri omkara makes a realistic and different couple one one on tv r8 noe while rest Jodi's have most of the storyline copy paste from gul old show pairs ...

A very good write- up. I always love to watch Shrenu's each and every one of her acting and her antics. Mostly I don't bother about the story and her role. But this show irritates me more. May be at the beginning stage it was an interesting one .So that this show is still alive.

I agree with much of what everyone's saying regarding the fact that Gauri should not have to change for Om and that she shouldn't have to learn English for him. Is it just me though, or did Gauri seem reluctant to even go to these classes in the first place? I believe she said something along the lines of "humse yeh nahin hoga."

No doubt that Gauri is a beautiful character. But it doesn't mean that she don't upgrade herself or equip herself. If you take lots of cinema celebrities and politicians they are less educated to illiterates but after coming in to their respective fields they equipped themselves to fit themselves to the place they are in and shine there. Be it improving their acting skills, stunt training, dance, working in other language movies and trying to talk other languages. So learning a new language is different from literacy or education. Gauri is more educated than literate. Here she is not trying to fit for Omkara. Here she is learning a new language which is spoken a most in the place where she lives. For example if people from south come to Mumbai they learn Hindi right it's good for their own benefits nothing in the sort to match others. Same when some one moves to USA they learn English. It's simply about making u better in the new environment ur in now. No butchering in this. It's not that Gauri should remain always like this without learning anything new. Always known is a drop and unknown is an ocean. Shivay wants her to have broader spectrum. I adore the bro sis bond they have. Gauri character to saying I don't want to learn means it basically it's against her character because she always used internet to learn new things and she always tried to learn and equip herself. Now her big bro is opening the doors and providing the opportunity to be " aaj ka womenia" kuch bi kar sakthey hey. Learning a new language kya cheese hey yar. Ithini badi villains ko thakar de Sakthi hey iss media wala's ko yar these judging little minds ko takar nahi desakthi hey kya. Shivay told to her to take this as a challenge. The character of Gauri and Omkara are woven well. CV's can't have a track or a scene for them just like that as they do to other couples. I would say their story is unique. So intense and it should match to their complex personalities else we will easily feel the inconsistency , at times we felt too. In Svetlana track they are involving everyone and Bhavya the cop but in my opinion Gauri is the best bet against Svetlana. In my opinion Gauri and Svetlana tacker ki dhushmanbaaz CV's vahan kuch gadbad na kare. I would hands down agree most powerful character next to shivay is Gauri. All the heroic elements are there in her character. Rather calling Gauri cunning Gauri I would prefer call Smart Gauri.
I think here in this English learning track Naya Soch ki opportunies hey yar. CV's ko kuch tho Karne do yar.3

Its comforting to know that I'm not the only one who is bothered by this character butchering.

Some people still feel that this education track is for Gauri's self-growth.

Guys, open your eyes. I am in favor of Gauri being educated BUT FOR HERSELF.

I HATE the idea of Gauri being educated to fit into Omkara's life or to be accepted by him. That is classic character butchering, both of a FL, and of Gauri's basic trait as someone who does not impose on relationships.

I cannot make others accept my point of view, but I have some more to say on this matter. (Clearly one rant was not enough 😆) But don't worry, this rant is on my blog. If you guys are vella, and want to torture yourself, then you're most welcome to check out this post.

harneet's mind stop working when it comes to rikara .Bas enough said.
She is way too confused when it come to both om n gauri for me . No proper closure given to a track when it comes to them .just so much randomness gul should atleast have 2 writers for this show
