AniRu did all J drama to get his anger/reaction. SO when he got angry and asked her that she couldn't have done all that if she didn't wanted to leave so she was ready to explain that why she did. May be she wouldn't have told the truth but she would have explained that there was some reason. But SHivaay's wound was very fresh that time so he was not ready to listen anything. ANd then in reaction he announced his engagement.

Now annika got rags real face and tried to tell him. Both are still at the same day, as they mentioned in first dinner so both are hurting in those things. So now both are is illusions that other one has a different person in their life. but still Annika did not leave OM so she has not given up on him. she is just living there waiting for something to happen. Otherwise why is she still there in OM. There is no reason. But being there, being around each other is actually healing their wounds

You see now since Shivaay is doubting he is not ready to let it go so if she would have said that I did bcoz of some reason then he would have kept asking/pushing her until she told the truth which she doesn't want to

one more point is SHivaay knows that this is how annika has always been. Did she do anything before to impress shivaay or anyone else? she is being herself now and may be somewhere hoping that somehow shivaay will get to know the truth or may be let it go
