"Tum Tia pe ungli uthane wali kaun hoti ho jab tum khud... ek giri hu... characterless aurat ho... jisne iss ghar me... iss chat ke niche, pata nahi kya kya kiya hai.
"Aapko sach me aisa lagta hai, mai aisa kar sakti hu? Aapko lagta hai mai itni giri hui hu?
"Tumne aisa K.I.Y.A hai. Aur mujhe pata hai... tum... bohot giri hui ho.
"Aur uske liye acchi khasi rakam bhi li hai... 15 lakh...
"Manna padega... ek middle class ladki ke liye tum kafi mehangi ho...
"Shivaaay... Her patience had been ending with his every word and it finally did with his last sentence. How could he say that? She raised her hand to slap the man who was downright calling her everything, she felt disgusted because of. He flared, anger and rage rising more and more.
"Not again, Anika. Not again. He held her hand in air, stopping it midway. How dare she even try to do that? Again?
"Aaj tak aapne mujhse bohot kuch kaha, mere sath bohot kuch kiya lekin mai kabhi nahi tooti. Lekin aaj... aapne jo kaha... tod diya. Tod diya mujhe, Shivaay. Meri poori zindagi to aap pehle hi cheen chuke the, bas ek izzat thi... jo aaj nilaam ho gayi. Dukh iss baat ka hai, ke kisi aur ne nahi... aapne nilam ki.
The moment her tear stricken face came before his sight, he couldn't help but felt something twisted in his heart, sharply. The way, she was shivering with anger made him stop thinking everything else and rethink over what, he was blaming her for.
Shivaay could see hurt in her eyes but his mind, his rationality refused to believe what his heart was telling him. His heart was yelling at him, that she was not wrong, she could not do that, she was innocent. His soul was screaming to wipe those tears, to take her in his arms, to apologize for everything, every word he just uttered to her. A part of him wanted to rewind everything, their conversation, that moment when he accused her, rather brutally humiliated her yet his anger blinded him.
"Ye tamasha band karo. Leaving her hand, he jerked her, stepping back as if even being close to her, disgusted him. She was lying, doing drama; he was sure about that... more than ever like he knew her inside out.
"Isiliye... isiliye mai tumse itni nafrat... Advancing steps towards her, his palm roughly held onto her cheek. He spit out every word emphasizing.
Hatred is a strong emotion; probably a little more than even love.
She had fallen down on her knees, near bed. Her legs have been giving up since the second he started it, but when his grip vanished from her as he walked out of their room, that came followed by a heart wrenching breakdown, she never thought existed.
It had been long, real long to have felt that helpless for her. What was he saying to her? She had slept with Daksh for money? Seems like he had forgotten the time, when she had thrown it on his face. If she had been that desperate for the money, then why would have she waited till now? Why was she even working if she had been getting money this way? Why was she living in that middleclass lane?
Did it make any sense? She wondered if it did but then... it really, really did, to him.
She recalled when he had showed up at her place at the time of the attack on her. She had called him but hadn't said anything but still, he had come, just to check upon her as if he knew something wasn't well with her. Is that Shivaay and this Shivaay really the same?
She sat there, contemplating how twisted turns her life had taken after she met this man who had not only snatched her freedom but also her self-respect.
Enough! She told herself to not shed a single tear for the person who had known her for quite long, whose pride, manly ego did not let him trust her but some proofs, he had been talking about.
Is he really forgotten, she had risked her character for him? She hadn't thought even once before doing that... just to save him.
"Aapko bachane ke liye mujhe characterless banna manzoor tha, Shivaay aur aap...
"Bas, ab aur nahi. Agar ye baat aapne pehele boli hoti, to shaayad mai ek baar bardasht bhi kar leti lekin ab nahi.
She wiped her every tear recalling every, thing. Forcing a bit on the tiles, she lifted herself up, standing firm on her feet again. For a moment, she had felt weakest, just like she had, once in her life before. She thanked life, being grateful for teaching her to stand on her own again that time and she hadn't forgotten that yet. She was a self made woman and she doesn't need anyone's support in her life... especially not Shivaay's... after what he did today.
"Koi kitna bhi gira de... zindagi ne khud uthana sikhaya hai."
"Mana ke aap jis se pyar karte ho, uski har galat baat ko bhi galat maan ne ka dil nahi karta... mana ke aap kabhi usse nafrat nahi kar sakte jis se aapne kabhi pyar kiya tha... lekin meri izzat par ungli uthane ka haq maine kisi ko nahi diya... aapko bhi nahi, Shivaay. Haan ek baar kiya tha aur uss baat ka afsos aaj bhi nahi hai lekin jo aaj aapne kiya hai... uska afsos zindagi bhar rahega. Janti hu, sach pata chalne ke baad, aapko bura lagega, shayad aap mafi bhi maang le... par mai... mai aapko iss cheez ke liye kabhi maaf nahi kar paungi... kabhi nahi.

The incident I mentioned in the chapter was the one, where she had lied to have been with Shivaay for a night to save him. It was some case, I guess. I hadn't seen it entirely and do not remember either but I am sure you will.
