Om was confused thinking why he told Shivaay to check gauri's background. He himself was not sure, maybe somewhere along the lines of acting in front of of svetlana and seeing her concern for his family especially for his mom, maybe he started to have a soft spot for her. He started realizing that she may not be as bad as he had thought. But still he was not ready to accept her. This is not because he is arrogant or judgemental but circumstances forced him to think all women are bad. Then when Gauri repeatedly told him, she is not at fault, he was not ready to accept it because he was afraid. That was the foremost reason, afraid to get his trust broken, lose his faith in humanity anymore, so he showed his insecurities, fears in the form of anger on her. In the deepest corner of his heart he wanted her to be good in fact he knew she is good but fear can cloud even the most strongest mind and Om had a sensitive mind which was easily overtaken by emotions. He didn't know whether he wanted Gauri to be good or bad because if she is saying the truth he would be disgusted with himself for judging her so harshly but if she is bad he would never be able to trust anyone aymore.
Anika took Gauri to a guest room as she knew both om and Gauri were not ready to face each other tonight. Gauri was still crying so Anika made her sit on the bed and hugged her. 'Ro mat Gauri sab teekh ho jaayega. Omkara ko jab tumhari sachai pata chalegi tab woh tumse maafi maangega aur tumhe dil se apna bhi lega.'
'Aapko mujh par viswas Hai? Aapko nahi lagta mein jhut bhol rahi hun? ' Gauri asked in shock as she has till now faced only rejection from Omkara, she did not except Anika to accept her so easily.
'Haan, mujhe tum par pura bharosa hai, tumhe pata hai kyun? Kyunki tumhari aankhen bata rahi hai. Meine Tia Svetlana jaisi bohot saare log jo Oberoi khaandan ko destroy karna chahthe hai unhe dekha hai, unnke aankhon mein woh sacchai nazar nahi aati jo tumhari aankhon mein hai. Aur waise bhi meine dekha hai tumne Chulbul bankar aur ab Gauri bankar tumne Omkara ke liye aur Jhanvi aunty ke liye kya kya kiya hai, isiliye mujhe tum par bharosa hai.' Anika said with a smile.
Gauri who was already emotional felt overwhelmed and tightly hugged Anika and cried her heart out. She got the same feeling as when she used to get hugged by her mother or sleep on her lap. Anika did not like seeing Gauri crying, she felt like she had failed her. She wanted to protect her from all evils in the world. She didn't know from where this protective feeling eas coming, she feels this with sahil mostly. She thought she is feeling like this because Gauri is too innocent. She gave all the support she can and kept rocking her gently, with her hands combing through Gauri's head softly.
Shivaay was talking to the detective, 'Mr. Rathore mujhe Gauri kumari sharma from bareily ke baare mein puri information chahiye and i need it fast. Make sure it is 100% correct and add witness statements too if you can'. Saying this he kept the phone and looked towards Rudra who was standing there with a somber expression. 'Kya soch rahe ho Rudra?'
'Bhaiya mujhe nahi lagta Gauri bhabhi Svetlana ki tarah hai. Zaroor O ko koi galat famhi huyi hai. Mein aap jaise intelligent or experienced nahi hun par mujhe logon ko pehchana aata hai bhaiya. Meine dekha hai jab Kaali thakur woh crocodile lekar O ko maarne jaa raha tha tab woh kitna tadap rahi thi unhe bachane ke liye. Woh drama nahi ho sakta bhaiya. Bhabhi hi thi jisne mom ko bachaya jab dad unhe jalane wale the. Mein maan hi nahi sakta woh buri hai.' He said this with tears in his eyes. Shivaay hugged him 'chinta mat karo Rudra hume jaldi pata chal jaayega sach kya hai and if i say the truth mujhe bhi Gauri ki kahani mein sach hi nazar aaya and i hope I'm right kyunki Om ko ab ek aise insaan ki zaroorat hai jo usse bina koi expectations pyaar karen aur usske kandhe se kandha mila kar chalen. Gauri iskeliye perfect hai.' Rudra was very happy because his superman is never wrong and if he thinks that Gauri is good, then she is definitely good.
Shivaay and Rudra went in search of Om and saw him sitting near the pool. 'Detective se baat kar li meine. He will give us the reports soon.' Shivaay said and bith were about to sit with him when 'Teekh hai Shivaay' saying this Om went from there. They became more worried for him.
After sometime when Anika had still not come to their room, Shivaay became worried and went in search of her. He asked a servant who told him that she was last seen with Gauri going into the guest room. When he went there, he could not believe his eyes. He saw Anika sitting with her back resting on the head rest and Gauri was sleeping on her lap. Anika had one of her hands on Gauri's head and the other hand was clutched by Gauri. He had seen Anika like this only with Sahil. Both were fast asleep and he did not want to disturb them. Seeing this he had a feeling as if he was missing something but couldn't place his finger on what it is.He laid a comforter on both of them and after placing a soft kiss on Anika's forehead, he left to his room.
