Hello everyone!This idea came to me all of sudden,while wondering what it would be like if Shivika decide to leave OM and have a much desired Vanvaas track.I dont know how it's going to turn out,but I hope you enjoy it.Do leave your thoughts!
Note- I'm ignoring the whole Nayantaraa track here.
A storm was raging in the Oberoi Mansion,as mother and son stood face to face.The impending war had finally started,as Shivaay lost his patience when Pinky,for the upteenth time,raised questions on Annika's naam,khoon and khandan,or lack thereof.
"I can't believe that my son,who has always valued family,lineage and blood over everything,does not wish to know about his own wife's background!" Pinky's voice echoed through the hall,while all the other family members stood watching the scene.Annika herself was standing in a corner,silent tears running down her cheeks.
"For the last goddamn time,mom-I DON'T CARE!"Shivaay shouted. "I know these things mattered to me before,but they don't anymore!Annika is more important to me than anything else,and it's better for you if you accept that soon."
"Accept her?" Pinky pointed towards Annika,her mouth twisted into a disgusted frown. "How do I accept this girl,Shivaay?I had so many hopes for my one and only daughter-in-law, but instead I have to bear this girl-"
"This girl," Shivaay interrupted, "is my wife!And as I've said before,I won't hear a word against my wife."
"So this is how its going to be,huh?"Pinky's voice became low,almost deadly. "Fine then."
And then turning to the rest of the family,she continued.
"Aaj faisla hokar rahega.Either this girl will stay in the Oberoi Mansion,or I will."
There was stunned silence as her words sunk in.
"But choti maa," it was Rudra who finally spoke up."How can you just ask bhaiyaa to choose between you and bha-"
Shivaay raised his hand to stop Rudra.His demeanor was of a tired man,finally exhausted from all his responsibilities.When he spoke,his voice reflected the exhaustion within.
"Okay mom.If that is what you want,it'll happen.Annika will not stay here anymore."
Pinky's face broke into a victorious smile,while Annika only looked on with tearful eyes.
"But," Shivaay continued, "If Annika doesn't stay here,then neither will I.We will both be leaving the Oberoi Mansion tonight."
The wide eyes and the various gasps heard could not even begin to justify the shock everyone received at this statement.
Okay I know this is super duper short,but I really wanted to know if people are willing to read this further before I continued.So please leave your feedback!
