Even if great appreciation post etc is made by newcomers or not so popular writers then no one takes the pain to comment. Similarly discussions initiated by them also don't move. Maybe I'm thinking too much. Personally I'm started feeling bad and don't even feel like writing due to this generally prevailing cold air!!

Dear Maria,
I can understand but please, do not feel that way.
I personally dont really know what to say because I myself hardly interact anywhere except my fics threads owing to time constraints.
Of course, it will take time for people to know you and your work. No one, absolutely no one can reach on top in first attempt ... some can but cases are very rare.
All I am trying to say is, give it a bit of time. Everyone who has handful of people who comment on their threads by seeing the mere name, has gone through the same, once that you are experiencing.

I hope and wish you reach to that point soon, very soon
