Yes!!! I too get the sense of fore-boarding but not where Annika's truth is concerned because I firmly believe that woman that Pinky found is not Anniika's mother. It is a red herring as far as I am concerned so I am not going to fret too much about it.

Why??
a) because it would be cliche for that to happen. So convenient that he finds his source of the struggle so quickly. How will the writers be proud of such a simple and basic plot?!

b) Annika's past has been guarded by the CV's for the past 280+ episodes like it is the 'Mona Lisa' in the Louvre. It is my opinion that both IB and DBO hinge entirely on this past being revealed and the Chemical Factory incident that has seen so many people dead or seeking revenge. So bringing it out like this, without fanfare, defies logic for having kept it so vague and sketchy till now.

c) They are leading us on to believe a ShivIka separation will occur which I know won't. Again put it down to a simple plot written by a 7 year old. What instead is going to happen is 'Vanvas'. Shivvay abdicating his throne because not only will Pinky use Mahi when the dust of the revelation settles but Shivvay will be the 'black sheep' for not upholding his NKK in her eyes.

I guess i am the weird one who is watching the mother-son dynamics changing more than the Saas-Bahu.
That is because Harneet and Gul do not strike me as the 'Saas-Bahu' kind of creators.
