I'd like to start off with about how right you are about no one, not one Oberoi, knowing how deep Shivika's relationship has gotten. Hell, not even OmRu know anymore. They just know he's head-over-heels for the girl. I feel like the weight of the Gayatri Murder case and ONS MU are real solidifiers as to Shivaay's reasons to love Annika. I feel like Annika gave up her honor for Shivaay, that's when he started to feel a longing for her, because they are both reckless. They stand in front of each other like a wall.
The Gayatri murder case was an important corner stone in his understanding of how strong, confident and totally in control a woman Annika was. His admiration for her and his paranoia for her safety grew from there on. He seemed more and more drawn to her and focused on her after that. He looked like a moth drawn to her flame.
Annika never wavered in her professionalism as the wedding planner or did anything to merit that kind of obsessive attention from him but Shivvay gave it to her nonetheless. Shivvay had fallen hook, line and sinker by then and had completely lost all control over himself since that time. You could say he had begun to see Annika as 'HIS' from then on even with a marriage with Tia being planned. i know that it sounds completely weird and wrong when I say that but that is who Shivvay was.

Shivaay is most likely attracted to how she challenges him or can show him up. Shivaay and Annika are very similar, Annika is not just a copycat. (which I find weird for Shivaay to say.) Shivika are meant to have 36 traits in common with each other. Stubbornness, love for their brother, ego, attitude, and self-respect are just the major ones. These things tie into why Shivaay is so smitten with Annika.
lol .. yes the 'copy cat' bit is a little funny and I think it is just his way of teasing her and poking her pride about her being 'one of a kind'. I love the way he manages to find her soft spots and unnerve her just like she knows how to turn him into the stuttering and awkward 'Billuji' 😉
Shivvay is 'smitten' by her - that is so perfect that you say that. The word is apt to describe what he feels for her.
I was quite taken by surprise that he admitted so freely to her causing him 'pangs' in his heart just by the way she looks at him. That was quite a admission and that too without any hesitation or reservations about what it would mean in relation to his NKK.
He is admitting to feeling things, is making moves and getting intimate with a girl who he has reservations about NKK??!!
See that is why I need to hear HIM mention NKK again because the man seems to have forgotten that this is a word that exists now at least where Annika is concerned. It is as if as an 'Oberoi Bride and Bahu' she is above all reproach of lack of NKK now. Being Shivvay wife has automatically put her with the NKK types.

During the ONS MU, these things are tested and when Shivaay thinks Annika failed, he tries to cope with his heartbreak by moving forward in marriage, only to become bound to Annika and learning that she had done nothing. However, NO ONE in the house knows this side of their story. They didn't hear Shivaay's scream of anguish when he thought he lost Annika because of his own mistake. They did not see Shivaay's longing for Annika when she put distance between them during ShiTia's 3rd wedding.
Again true. That is what I meant when i said how much does anyone really know about ShivIka and their dynamics. They only know what Shivvay and Annika let them see when in public. These two are very guarded about their marriage and relationship as though they fear someone might cast an evil eye on it ...lol
Shivvay himself has not openly expressed to Annika how much she matters to him and the little that he tells her is what she has to go by. That is where her insecurity about her past coming into play stems from. She sees what he shows in his eyes but the look of longing and despair that he wears when he thinks he is about to lose her is something even she has not witnessed ever. Hence her need to hear him say what she sees in his eyes. The assurance that she matters more than her lack of NKK.

Honestly, my question sometimes is, does Shivaay have a right to be upset with Annika for trying to keep this stuff from him? How will Shivaay change when he doesn't even know the real Annika. I mean, how long did it take for Shivaay to learn Sahil is handicap? I understand her fear, but she needs to move forward otherwise she'll always just live in her fears of being without Shivaay.
That is what is being addressed by the writers I feel at this stage. The relationship needs to move forward or end. As I always said - I have a beef about him not seeing a future with her and her as the mother of his children. Who gave him the right to decide that she should stay married to him but never experience the happiness of being a wife and a mother in the true sense. If there is no future what is he expecting for the next 25 odd years in this marriage?? FNP and dard games till they are 50??

With what some people have said about Mahi not lasting long, I wouldn't be hopeful about any sort of meaningful relationship for Mahi. He's going to be a tragic character. 'Jo hoga, vo dikhega nahi' is perfect for Mahi, because no one has seen what Mahi has done at all, or whatever's happened to him. When Mahi was dancing to Gandi Baat, Annika called him cheapde - she didn't see his pain. When Mahi saved Shivaay, they thought it was him being evil - they didn't see his anguish or him rescuing Shivaay. Because, whether Mahi is an Oberoi or not, he's not going to get a happy ending. That might not be possible if Nakuul is hella tired from all the work.
Maybe - maybe not. I reserve my reply for when there is a little more Mahi-Shivvay progress.

If the writers had focused more on other characters, it would be better. Maybe give something to RuMya, a conversation, banter, a look.
I too need more from RumYa for heavens sake. This whole thing is beginning to look stagnant and the poor couple is even beginning to lose their spark. With PriVeer almost gone we have room for RumYa. Send them on Vanvas with ShivIka - please !!!! That should at least give them some 'moments'.😭

Just something to make Nakuul do less work, so he'll be less exhausted. Or how about progressing ShInky's relationship. You know, they are husband and wife. You could show Shakti falling for Pinky now. That way she has something to be attached too, other than Shivaay. Or maybe you can forget Pinky's insecurities, pass it off as one of your inconsistencies, and give Pinky and Annika a good relationship.

Asya, I seriously think Annika's past is not going to be something grand scale. Unless this show is going to convince me that Annika and Shivaay's past somehow interconnect with each other. She's just going to be an orphan who grew up in a harsh life.

Ms. Gul always relates the ML and FL past and it is always something earthshaking and ground breaking... lol
It will have to do with Oberoi's being the cause of Annika's and Gauri's misfortune just like it would be the cause of Saumya's.

So, by the way, are we bringing back Daksh to destroy Shivaay's NKK too? I mean, our dear psycho always has to push the lovers together... That's literally always it, right? Last time he was here, Shivaay said Annika is his wife.
If I hear 'Daksh is back' once more I will boycott IB. There is enough room for ShivIka to grow without outside forces working against them. I swear I will fly to Mumbai and wring his neck😡

You know, when Shivaay said he can't see Annika as the mother-of-his children, I thought of something funny. Well, to equate that, Annika should say that she never wanted to have kids in the first place. That way they can both change for something.
lol ... that would be fun actually. I wonder how Shivvay would convince her to have kids then?? OmRu would have such a laugh about that 😆

I am so confused with the ongoing tracks yar...all are talking about Shivaay's NKK belief...omru,Annika but shivaay doesn't talk about it...
... and that is what i am waiting for. I need to hear his stance on NKK at this point now. I hope he is sensitive to how Annika is going to take it in relation to her if he refuses to accept Mahi because of his lack of it. The last time with the 'Chadda's' he did not clue in to how Annika reacted to his NKK rant so I hope he uses his smarts and treads carefully so that he does not put both feet in his mouth.😉

I know his beliefs about Nkk is still there but I think he really doesn't care about it when it comes to Annika...om said that shivaay doesn't want to accept Annika as his life partner... Ya he himself said it to om but wat he said to Rudra is entirely different...remember after he accepted her as his wife in front of the media there was a scene where Rudra and shivaay was talking about marriage and shivaay said that it's not about getting married it's about getting good life partner..he accepted there that Annika is perfect for him but why this sudden Nkk come back..
Exactly my point. Shivvay has not mentioned the NKK. The two brothers were just discussing it and we all have started crucifying Shivvay already. I prefer stringing him up and quartering him for his own sins and he already has many of those ... lol
No one assumed that ShivIka or any of the other pairs were going to have a smooth ride after marriage so if this major hurdle is being addressed through Mahi then that is a good thing. Shivvay accepted Om's illegitimacy so why not his other brother - Mahi and then extend it to his lovely, adorable and ever sacrificing wife. I mean with Om the NKK had begun to crumble anyways so where is the rigidity in his stance going to emerge from now? Could he really be such a big hypocrite to measure Annika on a scale different from Om?
Him standing up for her and fighting for her I can see. Pinky being harsh and degrading Annika I can see. Shivvay losing his place of pride with Pinky and being replaced by Mahi (the obedient son) I can see but Shivvay abandoning Annika is a bit to difficult to digest right now.

I think now it will not be about Annika but about mahi...shivaay can't accept mahi into his family because of family reputation but Annika will opposse it

i dnt think shivaay will ever abandon Annika because of NKK...he can't breath with out her...then how can he abandon her ...never ever it will happen...only chance is Annika leaving him but I don't think shivaay will allow it...if pinky try to seperate Annika from shivaay then shivaay will go away from her for ever...because Annika's place in Shivaay's mind is equal to his brothers and pinky is never close to that...

Leaving with Annika will not be because he is running away from the problem - it will be more about his wife not being accepted and receiving the due respect she deserves as an Oberoi Bahu. If Pinky asks that he choose between Annika and the Family Respect I can see how he would walk out with his wife. There is no way he would abandon her ever.
Shivvay does not run away from problems but if he needs to leave temporarily for his wife peace of mind and to find a solution he will (as we saw in the ML). It also ensures peace in the Family and less conflict between Pinky and Annika.

No she has not but has continued her snide remarks off and on.

if she did ... then i don't think he stood quietly and he won't stand quietly now

Just like everyone else (including Mrs. K), Pinky is going to bank on Shivvay loathing for people without NKK and expect that he will disown Annika when she bring that up. At that point she is going to be in for a major disappointment to see her son be the true man he is and stand by his wife inspite of her lack of NKK. He has always endorsed how strong they are when they are together and that together they can face any storm. This is going to 'kick start' mission Annika's past. I am hoping for a 'Vanvas' at her house. How adorable that would be to see Shivvay in Annika's world now. How he learns peoples true worth without NKK defining them just as Aarnav did 😊

however, mahi's entery into OM changes everything,because i think shivaay will leave

he might be kicked out by pinky in her rage that he protected annika and took her side or rage from the fact that some else's son was being pampered in the masion while her own was being tutored by kamini
I truly see that happening as Kamini will have had her revenge on Shivvay and Pinky then just by doing that. It will also ensure her son is now firmly installed as the heir apparent not Shivvay. But I feel Mahi is very emotionally starved for love and might end up wining everyone's heart in the bargain, more so Pinky's.
Pinky throwing Shivvay out would be the ideal stage for the Vanvas track.

i'll go with the first one actually ... if a confusion happens and pinky thinks Shivaay is illegitemate ...there's no way she'll keep him ...at least not at first ... she believes in KHOON a lot

... every time she attaked OMRU it was that shivaay is not your blood brother ... so yeah she would kick him out

coming to mahi ... he seems like he loves shivaay (not that way😆😆) so i don't know if he'll agree on the whole kick shivaay out thing
I think he will pretend to be Shivvay to the world only to hold the fort down for him till he returns.

p.s: i hope the cvs do this, we would get Shivika vanvaas moments ... brothers moments and even mahi will get some love before his character ends
I hope so as well. Mahi needs as much love and attention as Pinky. Frankly if this happens Shivvay will get some breathing space and can concentrate on his wife and future.

pps: damn it i hate confusion and thinking without clues ... just give us a spoiler please😭😭

True. Shivvay fell in love with Annika and was obsessed with her much before she even bothered about getting to know the real him. His love for her is as strong as hers for him but I always felt it was deeper. I know she sacrifices more than he does but I think he is going to make the biggest and more important sacrifice of his life soon just for her. His Family and His NKK.

Anika's covo with Sahil shows her insecurity this is very common among married couple not necessarily both have same beliefs or thought process. What is important is the desire and need to continue together.
Absolutely. All married couples have insecurities and worries about the other accepting their weaknesses. Annika's fears are justified as it is something that is beyond her control to change.

Shivaay has come a long way, only concern is hope CVs stick to character consistency and not do a flip for drama and Trp. Hope for the best!

I do think there is more to the story and more to their characters so I'm curious to see how all this plays out. Like you mentioned he is attached to her so while NKK might still be there it will be difficult for him to let her go. We all know the end-game is Shivika, but the process is still a mystery. He hasn't mentioned NKK himself other than that one conversation with Om in DBO. What I took from the conversation is while he has feelings right now he isn't thinking about the future. He likes the way things are right now. We never get to see his thought process so his feelings about NKK also a mystery. It would be nice if we got a glimpse.
Asking for Shivvay to show some introspection is like asking for 'Pixie Dust' from the CV's ...lol
I have given up on that and have resigned to making my own deductions about what Shivvay thinks.😉 Honestly I really think this is to lay the NKK to rest and raise Annika's past from the ashes as it also intertwines with Gauri's.

If there is a flip it would be interesting if it was Anika. His principles have been with him for so long and so have her insecurities. So naturally it should be hard for her to get over it as well.
But then flipping is not really Annika's character . That is more Billu and his 1000 shades so I think he is the one to flip yet again but this time to shock his mother out of her NKK ranting mind 😆
