Part 18
The Oberois gather in the pool area to discuss how to get out of this problem. Shivaay asks Tej if the deal got registered. Tej responds in yes. Rudra says, "bhaiya agent Rudy's mind says that we should first find the original papers and then do something." On says, "that's not easy Rudra because for that we need Mrs Kapoor's signatures and it won't be easy to get it." Shivaay says, "Om is right, we need her signatures, its not easy to get her signatures but not that tough too." Prinku says, "Bhaiya for that we need to find the papers first right." Shivaay says, "yes."
At 20:00hrs. Karan and Annika leave from the office together. Annika was about to ask Karan to take left turn which goes to her house and not go right, the way which leads to Oberoi Mansion. But she didn't because before she could say something Karan had already put on the left turn indicator of the car. When they reached her home, Annika smiled and said, "acha hua jo tumne us baagad bille Oberoi ki baat nahi maani, tune sabit kar dia ki tu mera hi dost hai. (Its good that you didn't obey that WildCat Oberoi's words. You proved it today that you are my friend.)" Karan says, "its not like that Annika. Its just that Shivaay told me about a new problem in his house and after knowing that we both mutually agreed that you should be kept away from Oberoi Mansion, so I drove to your house not his." Annika wonders and asks, "what problem." Karan says, "it's nothing Annika and you don't have to worry about it." Annika says, "how can I not worry about him. Please tell me what's wrong with Billuji." Karan looks at her and tells her that Shivaay called him in the evening and told him about Mrs Kapoor had acquired more than half of Oberoi wealth and has entered in the mansion. He narrates her everything which Shivaay told him. Annika says, "so much happened and you are informing this to me now. I should go there." Karan says, "no you can't, last time if it were not for Shivaay then you would have been paralyzed." I can't let you go. Just try and understand." Annika holds Karan's one arm and says, "Karan, whenever I was in some problem, Billuji always came to rescue me and if today he is in some problem so how can I stay here like this. I should go plz understand." Karan says, "but she is so evil, she can do anything."
At this Annika smiles and says, "Karan, are you the one saying this." Karan says, "yes you are my friend and I am worried for you, I know what you are capable of but still looking at you past encounters with that woman I guess you should stay away from her." Annika says, "till now she was attacking from the back. But now that she has gained what she wanted to she will attack from the front." Karan says, "what do you mean " Annika says, " do you trust me?" Karan says, "of course I do but.." Annika cut him in the middle and said, "so just drive me to Oberoi Mansion and I promise I will see you in the morning at office." Karan agrees and drives to Oberoi Mansion.
At the gates of Oberoi Mansion, Annika gets out from the car, she turns to Karan and says, "Thank you" Karan returns the smile and says, "my pleasure, but remember I need my PA in the office next morning in one piece or else you are staying back at your home " Annika smiles and says, "Karan, you know me, I always fulfill my promises." They bid bye to each other and Karan leaves. Annika puts the code of the door, door opens, she sees the lights of the hall are off. She takes a few steps inside and says to herself, "Mrs Kapoor, aapne Tej Singh Oberoi ko underestimate kia, puri Oberoi family ko underestimate kia, lekin apne mujhe bhi underestimate kia, aur ye apki sabse badi galti thi. (Mrs Kapoor, you underestimated Tej Singh Oberoi, you underestimated the entire Oberoi family, but you also underestimated me and this was your biggest mistake.)" She smirks and says, "Mrs Kapoor, mai apki aisi haalat kar dungi ki aap khud Oberoi Mansion chhod ke bhaag jaengi. (Mrs Kapoor I will make your situation so worse that you will yourself run away from Oberoi mansion.)"
