A powerful confrontation that needed to happen a long time ago. She has been adrift and confused with nothing of substance to hold onto. All her question were valid and deserved an answer. His "I'll fix this" isn't enough anymore like she said she is always losing and will continue to lose in the future. His words and assurance don't have the same value anymore to her, which is realistic especially since she is never a priority. She gives so much and receives nothing in return. There has to be a breaking point where she realizes him and this relationship is not worth the heartache or the effort.

If he only trusted her or Omru enough with this secret than so they could work together and help him. I love angst so I'm really looking forward to where this is heading. I'm hoping it's a positive resolution with him acknowledging their relationship, but I would be okay with a negative one where she lets go. The possibilities are endless with this plot and I hope the writers don't miss these opportunities.

When I watched the 8 mins of their conversation , I got reminded of their conversation before shivika marriage when he proposes Tia for marriage in front of family and Annika. Wow... did I say family and Annika? Well let me come to this later. In that conversation too, Annika spoke valid point and sensibly.. like today.. same feels today for me... Billu totally stumped. lovey dovey scenes, we Long for it, yes I agree. But such sensible scenes touches us more than random lovey dovey scenes.

True this, they floored us with that slow burning scene yesterday. There was rushing in this scene, I love how they were unhurried and took things slow, giving all the emphasis to the words used and each reaction perfectly rendered. 👏 CVs and Nakuul , Surbhi, take a bow guys..

or how long CVs are going to make Annika stand for herself, I am not sure. Thoda time hi sahi, main khush ho aaj ke liye. In reality, I'm not sure how a girl might stand up if she was in Annika's condition. But Annika as she is, needs to stand up for herself, thats Annika - self-dependent. Because, the world always breaks her trust. Till now, she has two worlds - real world and world of Shivaay. Now when a reality check is given, she realises immediately that both are one and same and she cannot forever live in the world of delusion. She has slowly started picking herself that she might stay in OM, but she is just Annika...Thats the truth. The way she accepts the truth thrown at her without any rona-dhona and OTT, thats what I like about Annika from the beginning - accepting the truth and acting practical as the situation demands, literally no shying away, just confronting on the face.

I think the lack of crying threw him off a bit. She looked shattered, like she gave up. This wedding is going to cost Shivaay a lot.

This is the area where Shivaay lacks - he literally cannot confront the truth on its face. He backs off when the truth becomes unacceptable to him. He tries to escape from the truth stating that he is Shivaay Singh Oberoi. His cons is that he tries to look for temporary solutions to any problem, just for time being. He thinks once fixed it wont surface again, but he needs to understand that the problems needs to be rooted away instead just plucking off the infected leaves so that it doesn't spread. But thats not the case. Like Annika, he also has two world - 1. real world where his family lives 2. Annika, his private haven. In real world in front of his family he cannot show any of his weakness, thats the main reason he keeps Annika away from his real world. Because he considers Annika as his weakness. But the contrasting part is that his world of Annika, his private haven is where he draws out strength for himself, he can just let his guards down in front of Annika. He doesnt consciously realise this, thats where crux of the problem is. He is shying away from confronting himself, let alone the world outside. When his private haven cracks, all hell breaks loose, he will be shattered inside

Normally when she confronts him, he stone walls her with his trademark "I don't see the need for me to explain anything to you.." but this time, he tries to make her understand his stuck situation.

He was appealing to her understanding, something he was getting used to. That he does things like this for a reason. But should she always take things like this? Why should she? There has to be a point where it stops. He can't keep doing this to her.

Now I am curious to see how Annika and Shivaay are going to merge their worlds and enter the real world.
