I want to see Shivaay think about all this, what it means to him. Shivaay Singh Oberoi is a man clad in iron chains right now - a slave to his loyalty towards his family name, his worries for his brothers' well being and his own regressive beliefs about bloodline and women as a whole. Somehow I think he's not dealing with his feelings for Annika coz he's afraid of them, afraid that he'll want to break free from all the chains that are tying him down. One day he will though, when his love for her grows more powerful the chains will grow weaker and it'll be such a treat to watch.

Spectacular post Asya! Every detail covered.
I believe it is high time now that his beliefs shatter. He has been comfortable for a lot of time now. It is Shivaay's habit that he is indecisive about the matters where he finds his belief irrelevant & meaningless. And he finally needs to take a decision.
I have read this somewhere before, don't know who said it but Anika is Shivaay's indulgence. He needs her & he has always known this even before Anika realised her feelings. He has known that she is what he want but it's like a habit you keep a secret. He has to let the secret out. But choosing her would be going through a uncomfortable decision that will make him question himself. Something I feel he is terrified of doing.
Today's episode set two things quite clear
1. Anika will do anything for Shivaay's happiness. Like you said she will walk out just to see him live with his head held high.
2. And Shivaay will do anything to keep her around. The man was operated a day before & he is a obssesed about his health. But he wanted her next to him & he set out to bring her back.
'Mujhe tumhari jaroorat hai''Tum sambhalava longi' This two dialogues were enough to scream out his feelings for her.
And so I want her to leave. He needs a blow to decide. Tia has to stood him up for him to need to marry her, she had to almost die to make him trust her, and now to make him realise how much he needs her. Similarly this guy needs a blow to finally push him to decide that everything is futile if she is not with him.
I think about RuMya, this two for once actually need to talk about each other's feelings as best friends & solve their problems together for once.
I don't feel that Pinky will soften towards Anika after Tia is exposed. Bcoz her entire behaviour is based on her insecurities and the fact that even though She & Anika are nearly same, Shivaay chooses to listen to Anika. She might soften a little after Tia's truth comes out but somewhere in her mind their will always be this little thorn. And when adversity will come, Anika will always get a prick from it.
Whether Anika will leave is a big question. I just wish for ones they respect the story they have created more than few numbers.

Budget restrictions and DBO will make sure that even if Annika and Shivvay fight they will only have a pool separating them ... that is if SSO does not decide he wants a hot sizzling pool romance ... phir woh bhi distance nahi rahega

I wish the makers would atleast do half of what you've written here. How I would like to see Shivaay dealing with his feelings of love for Annika and his deep rooted beliefs of NKK, the fight within him should be a treat to watch if executed properly!
There has not been much development of the story from Shivaay's point of view, it's Annika all the way now - she is the one who has realised her love, she's the one who is fighting her feelings, it's practically her story now.
Actually it is going to be Shivvay's now not Annika's because he has started feeling the stirrings of love. It is just the NKK part that I would like him shown struggling with whenever the issue presents itself. He has to be shown gradually working it out of his system so that we know that Annika is making him rethink his age old thinking.

We all know he loves her by now and even though he has not said ILU it is not necessary, his actions speak that for him.
I know and we all know he needs her and cannot live without her. He has no hang ups admitting that now, either in private or even in front of everyone. But that is the one thing I 'Love' about this man Shivvay - there is no half measure in his relationships, it is either all or nothing. Right now the fact is that he loves her and cannot live or even breathe without her. He is become so needy in his obsession and love that any other girl besides Annika would have had her head spinning and in the clouds with the way he is with her. He is almost suffocating in his want for her and his obsession for her.
I remember not commenting on the posts in the past of people who found Annika overly clingy with Shivvay, annoying intrusive in his personal affairs, pushy with her whole 'Mera Pati' chant and also irritated with the whole 'haq' part of her attitude some weeks ago. That was because what Annika did then was done more out of duty to protect Shivvay not love.
I also remember making a post where I said that this equation was going to flip very soon once she found out she was in love. I actually was the happiest that she realized love (not the admitting part - just the realize part) and was jumping with joy. That is because I knew it was the only way to make Shivvay move forward from his inactive state in their love.

I knew she would withdraw the "Mera Pati' chant and Shivvay would pick up from where she left off because she is not doing it anymore.(The man so loves to be claimed and owned by her that he almost throws a tantrum when she does not do it😆. Lohri Puja as an example.)

I knew she would find every which reason to distance herself becuaz she thinks that this love might lead to pain and that would make Shivvay so fearful of losing her that he will get downright obsessive and possessive to the point of tagging her along everywhere he went to make sure she never leaves him. (Mine in the story placed an RFID chip in her payal 😆)

The more she pushes away, uncertain of her place in his life - the harder he pulls her into his love, assuring her that she has secure place in his. The more reasons she finds to stay away from him - the more arguments he will make to ensure she loses those reasons. The farther she runs - the nearer he will keep her tied and in a bond. ShivIka the couple and marriage is here to stay - it is Shivvay and Annika the individuals that now need to hammer out the most important and major difference that can ever drive a wedge between them. Their weakness of NKK

She should leave because she deserves better, but her leaving to let him keep his pride is an interesting theory and TRP certified. She has to have a breaking point otherwise the whole story is ruined. Right now, she has become a disposable toy that he controls.

Every time I see her on screen I wonder how the writers are going to give back her strength when

she has become so weak. How are the audience to supposed to buy the "takkar ka pyaar" when she lets him and his family walk all over her? Weren't they supposed to have issues about working, refusing his surname, conflicting ideologies, etc. The Anika post-wedding will just cry as she does whatever he says 😆

It would be more interesting if they focused on him and his struggles because Anika is honestly so boring now. His guilt during the hospital was amazing. He does whatever he wants whenever he wants without asking for permission or considering others. That same man had sit there while she hide because he couldn't protect her in his vulnerable state.

Yes he does.
He choose GOLD v/s GLITTER the day he mentioned to Tej the difference between the two. Om v/s Svet for Tej and for him Annika v/s Tia. That stage is complete. He has chosen and we know he never goes back on his decisions when they are once made (except where Annika is concerned ..lol. But we all know 'ki Annika ki baath alag hai... jo uske saath hota hai woh aur kisse key saath nahi hota')
Now the day we have been waiting for is here finally.He has admitted she is his NEED. Now that we are sure he loves her and cannot imagine even a second without her in his life it is time to choose between NEED v/s WANT. Annika v/s NKK

Right now she is more a need that is like a shame or weakness that he is hiding than his honor (izzat) that he is proud of flaunting and displaying. Soon Tum mere 'zarurat' ho has to change to tum mera 'gurur ho and all will be well in ShivIkaland 😆

If not leave (because of budget constraints) then at least distance herself at the OM. Get a job, bunk in with Saumya, disappear for the whole day busy with work - leave early morning and come back late. That is enough to drive the man up the wall - leaving may not have the effect having her in the same house has ...lol

Exactly. NKK will not quietly disappear one day. It is going to leave Shivvay only after a big massive fight with Annika for it's hold over him. The NKK is going to fight tooth and nail to stay while Shivvay struggles with it and the fear of losing Annika.

The initial struggle will be there of course but I think Annika will manage to win the woman over. She knows what Pinky fears and that is the first step in solving any problem - knowing where the problem lies. Besides, luckily she never monopolizes Shivvay's time or his attention, so there will be plenty of Son-mother moments thanks to Annika I feel. Annika craves for love from parents - Shakti will willingly give it to her but Annika knows she will have to win Pinky's and I can see her working towards that.
Pinky is not cruel or wicked at heart - she is just insecure right now that is all.

Whether Anika will leave is a big question. I just wish for ones they respect the story they have created more than few numbers.
I am not keeping my hopes up but I too hope so.
