My belief is that Shivaay's NKK is long gone with regards to anika. In Om's case also it was shown. Same guy who had problem with Dev even though the father / step mom all accepting because his mother was not khandaani. In Om's case he did not blink an eye about om's supposed bio-mother being non-khandaani and went into his protect Om mode. Is that not proof enough?

I hope so true and I hope what you and Aprilsunrise said comes true that he stands up for Annika against all the insults. I mean the Family already knows that he considers her his lawful wife so standing up for her should not come as a surprise to anyone.
I know he cannot stand anyone insulting or ill treating her anymore but we need this NKK chant to stop soon before it gets unbearable

Declaring to world that anika as his wife is the last and most important step and also more difficult because he announced another woman as his wife! This will cause scandal for the family. Not right now of course. With Tia still around it is impossible to even expect him to do that. That will happen only once she is revealed which is 'bhagawan and Gulmata' jane when. But once Tia is out that is when the real test comes about accepting her in Public.

That you are right about. He has not told her but the fact that he forced the Lohri Puja should be done by her and that hospital scene where Om spoke of marriage was proof enough as she knows he is not very vocal so she has learned to read the subtle hints from him.

It will be like she told Tia, their relationship is not based on the marriage, but trust, friendship and mutual respect. So I do not think she will ask that question.
And you could be right maybe she does not but she definitely knows that the relationship is on a firm marriage level now whether Shivvay has said it or not. There is no doubt there or he would have given in to his mothers demands and done it with Tia since she was angry already. The fact he insisted Annika do it meant that he has accepted the marriage. She knows how 'proper' Shivvay is about his relationships and their place in society.

But I am curious as to what his reaction will be to RumYa.

I always feel that it will be Shivaay who will force her to 'jatao her haq on him' rather that she doing it voluntarily. It will be he who will bull doze her into accepting him as her husband with 'pati kaho' or something on those lines. 😆😆

that's what na Shivay-Anika love story is gonna be.. Gul promised.. Shivay abt his ideology n anika with hers.. yahi takkar n tahsan layega na unke beech..
