That is a lot of ingredients for a recipe that is going to make a 3 tier dynamic change in the O'Bro's lives.
I have always held the strong notion that if and when the ShivIka separation happens this time it is going to leave a broken Shivvay not a broken Annika. Annika will be hurt, humiliated, disappointed and disillusioned but not broken. She will rise from the ashes - She is Annika!! Annika has grown strong in the knowledge that she is loved and protected by Shivvay, has Shivvay's unwavering trust and faith, has his unconditional support, has his good opinion no matter what. What she does not have, and is very aware of the fact that she may never get it, is the acceptance of who she is and where it is she comes from. She has been given that blow of the NKK punch so many times that I feel she has grown immune to its pain by now. However, it has not been said by Shivvay of late, even though he does not stand up and refute it when his mother says it to her. This means his stand on that matter has not changed.
I did not expect it to. There has been no struggle or attempt to even acknowledge this elephant in the room of late, forget address and talk about it!
The honeymoon is over and the real marriage begins. The rose tinted glasses are going to be rudely taken off to see the reality that faces them and RumYa.
Ideologies, beliefs, prejudices, character flaws and all the other good stuff is going to be thrown back and forth in this 'ShivIka Tennis Match' that we are preparing ourselves to watch.
I for one have reserved the 'Court-side' Seats in this very intense and important match and have been looking forward to it for the longest time now 😆
Shivvay on the other hand has grown weak and reliant on his champion Annika. She is there fighting by his side no matter the world and his own mother stands against him. She has been there day in day out, 24/7 whenever the need arose for him to reach out to her. The bright North Star in his very lonely and melancholy life- constant and never changing, shining true and steady. He draws his strength and guidance from her now when he charts his course and she has never failed him even once. And as it should be with any husband and wife.
We have witnessed the depth of his love and dependence on her already since before and after the shooting incident. Shivvay has never felt this kind of a connection with anyone but his brothers till now. The pain and anguish at their separation from him and his total and complete right over them and their decisions has always been the most deep relationship he has shared - EVER. Now he shares a deeper one on a completely different level with this other human being he calls his 'Jaan' because that is what she has come to be in his life. She IS his LIFE itself.
I was a little taken aback at his tears at the hospital and how intense his need was for her. The great SSO actually crying for someone other than his Brothers???
Annika is very aware from the spoilers that I saw of the RumYa connection. We know that she is going to be in support of the marriage and Shivvay may be against.
This is where the RumYa marriage does not come in question as much as the ShivIka one.
I can see Annika questioning Shivvay (with Om's backing) that if ShivIka marriage is considered acceptable in Shivvay's eyes then why is it so hard to accept the RumYa marriage
(my view point only as I have been asked as to how I know ...lol just a theory that is all)
The simple question may throw him off balance where he may fling the hurtful NKK taunt at Annika as usual in anger at her for questioning and defying his decision again (we all know his 'Victorian Views' on the husband-wife equation already) . She will force him to snap out of his indecisive state of limbo that their marriage is in and face the stark truth about the reality that they need to live in.
He might get into his SSO mode in defense and say that he has killed his pride and accepted her even though he knows it is going to cost him his status and his reputation in the business world. He has fought his love for her but has lost and hence has resigned that this is his fate and his destiny - to be married to one without NKK and hence has made the necessary compromise against his better judgement. He would not want one of his brothers to suffer his fate and future of being in such a marriage that is among unequal's and hence will support Rudy marrying the Chaabra girl. She has everything an Oberoi DIL should have money, power, lineage and name. He will not let Rudy make the MISTAKE he made and ruin his life.
And all this while the Family is witnessing it which makes it even worse - for Shivvay not Annika mind you.
Annika's BOOM!!!! after that will be classic if they execute it well.
I do not even want to picture the reaction that Annika is going to have to that. She is probably going to shock the 'O My Mata' out of Pinky by walking up to Shivvay and apologizing for being the cause of his shame and loss of pride. She will verbally break the marriage bond, releasing him from his marriage and other vows to her and walking out congratulating him on his freedom to marry whichever NKK girl he choose. She will ask him never to darken her door step again as she would not want him to lower his standards by even bothering to visit her. They are done and over from this day forward and he will officially be free 6 months from now.
At this point I really would like Saumya walking out with her as well. That girl needs to stop hanging around the indecisive Rudy as well.
That is the way I would like to see the NKK wall crumbling and breaking. That is the desperate Shivvay I want to see who will want to kick himself for shooting his mouth off once again in anger, the broken Shivvay asking Om to help him, the grovelling Shivvay stalking and standing outside her house begging for one chance to speak with her, the adamant Shivvay using all means fair and foul to win her back. The Shivvay who admits that all he has, NKK included, is worth the dust on her front door compared to her.
And BTW I do not care if she does all this while at the OM as well... in fact that will be better than walking out. We can have her share Sumya's room 😉
