Hi everyone.

I've read everyones comments. and i agree with all of you. its time we see something different. didn't all of us criticise anika? cause she never stands up for herself when shivaay does all these horrendous things to her. don't we sometimes find her niceness to be a bit too cheesy and a bit too perfect?. we should accept this character cause she'll be so different from the typical sansakri bahus. and also theres a reason why we all still loved the Male greys characters because from the audiences perspective no matter what they did we knew that they were amazing people.

And coming to omkara. omkara needs someone grey cause not one person other than shivaay has been able to get through to him. he needs someone strong and someone who's neutral being black or white and chooses to be the color they want according to the situations thrown at them. so all of you. lets all welcome this new female lead and lets all not bash her like most of these people did with 'ishana's character. ( though her character was a bit of a MESS).

ANYWAY, just wanted to put my opinions across. would love to know your opinion. but haters and bashers stay away. thank you.

P.S : i love the character of anika. incase any of you thought i was bashing her. i definitely wasn't. was just giving a basic example.

Is anika also somehow related to oberoi's purana kaand related to dadi..??

They couldnt justify the grey character of Ishana, they messed her up and had to scrape her.

Atleast in Ishana's case there was Shivika as leads.. here with a show dedicated specifically to OM and Gauri, making Gauri negative will be like taking upon an huge gamble

Unless they are planning to correct the mistakes they did during Ishana time

I don't think she will be any different than what we are already watching in every other show- a strong outspoken girl who become docile and submissive in few months. Since Om becoming a bit harsh so undoubtedly to soften him story would need a girl who will make him believe in love.

Though it's a spin off focusing on Om I hope nothing resembles IB, different cast/place/story. No connection to IB. And why the title is Dil Bole Oberoy, we are not going to get any brotherly love. Another misleading marketing tactic like they did with IB.

I really want a grey FL for Om, but I doubt whether Gul will really do it??? Didn't she scrapped Ishana's character because that reason only, that audience will not accept a flawed FL(can't really call her grey)??? or the reason was something else???😆

But Gul also said that DBO isn't for TRPs and that's why it's not airing on prime time. So maybe it's possible. I really don't want another recycled Shivika story here. Was really disappointed to see Om acting like Shivaye in the promo, now I don't want Gauri to be another Anika. I've got more than enough dose of angry young man and bubbly girl. 😆

If that article is really true then it's great. I think Gauri will be appearances can be deceptive type of character, acting like a simple traditional girl at first and later turning out to be a smart, cunning and little bit ruthless. Would love if she's like Gauri from Paanch. Oops!!!!!! I'm again expecting too much

I think story will go in a way what gul wanted to show with ishkara..During ishanas time she was not main lead..Screenspace was a big issue.Cvs couldnt do what they actually wanted bcoz of so many characters.DBO is exclusively for om and his girl..They can show everything...Grey characters will be accepted if she is shown as main protagonist.eg is maya of beyhadh..majority likes maya more than saanjh(who is shown as a positive one)..ishana was not accepted bcoz she was hardly shown ..

frankly omkar is a very positive character.. truthful etc.. so if he has a equally positive girl then it would be really boring.. i think it makes sense for d girl to be grey and fall in love with omkar and change for good.. in that way their story will have d necessary ups and downs.. even ridhima was wrong but omkar was never truly in love with her so he easily let go of her... but when he will truly fall in love and then come to know that d girl is a cheat.. it will turn his life up and down to accept it.. it will be a intense love story then for sure.. m looking forward to this.. i had this feeling her name would be gauri and it turned out to be that 😳...

shrenu is a powerful actress.. and so is kunal.. they will rock completely.. 😃

btw i m damn cool with grey heroines .. i used to love ranvi gunjan in veera... gunjan was a grey character completely..😳

Main reason y people accept male grey characters is bcoz they are shown as the main protagonist...if shivays mannerisms is done by a character who is supposed to be villain in the show he wont be accepted
