Okay, but what about Oberoi girls name? If O'Bros Shivaay, Omkara, and Rudra are ShivOmRu, then are the girls AniGauSau? AniGauMya? Hmm... I'm not sure about Gauri.

Funniest thing is this is an indian show..and gouri is a traditional indian name...and people have a problem with that too..

What's wrong wid Gauri name? I feel bad for girls who may have Gauri as their name here. Wasn't Gauri d name of a dreaded vamp in a youth show? For God's sake, it's Gauri not Sukanya, Saraswati or Parvati.

OmRi or GauKara?

If it's Gauri, I think I'll have a bit of getting used to. It's just a personal preference thing and no offence to the name. Actually, when I first heard about 'Omkara' too, I felt that the name was strange but now after hearing it in the show quite a lot, I got used to it.

Even Omkara is a very traditional name

Is gauri name confirmed? All names of Parvati maa are beautiful and traditional. Ishana is found modern because it is underused name. Gauri name is so common and used since pls times so people are telling it traditional. But guys whether ishana, Anika, saumya or gauri, the truth is that all names are traditional names of maa Parvati. Omkara itself is old name. So I think whether gauri, ishana or other what's the issue.

Gauri name sounds weird and defiantly very old fashioned. Nothing compared to Ishana or even Saumya & Aanika for that matter. Gauri sounds a little offbeat. Hoping this is not true.
Am sure Omkaras girl will have a better name.

I watched it in insta... Where shrenu herself said she is playing gauri...

It doesn't matter what's your name your character I going to decide what you are... I don't care if it is gauri,ishana or any other... I want shrenu to be remembered forever through her show...
she is a talented actresses with a good heart...
She deserves the best...
