See I have been pretty considerate about the points you have mentioned here. I understand what Anika is going through. I understand that it has been just 2 days since what happened with her happened.
But the problem I have with her is somewhere in her mind she still is clinging to the hope that Shivaay will respect her & their relationship. I don't have a problem with it. She is a normal girl with normal dreams & she has all the rights to have hopes.
It's just that he is a dumb brute & when he will disappoint her like he always does she will be shattered.
I just don't want her to forget what he did to her just bcoz he feels guilty & melted like wax. She needs to take a stand. She needs to stop getting directed by the Oberois & decide what she wants for her life like she always have.
I don't think she is a Abla Naari, I just fear she will turn into one.

Lastly Marriage is a beautiful bond two people share. But one thing that any marriage needs to function properly is respect. And I truely believe that instead of staying at a place where you are not respected, walking away is a better choice.

Anika is not a coward to give up and leave like that coz Tia came too...I am glad she asked to leave wen he gifted divorce papers but I do strongly feel that she won't sign those papers coz Shivay can't always have his say!

Its more courageous of her to stay there, face all this and still not cry or seek sympathy or anyone's help...and give back to Tia and Shivay in her own ways!

This Anika is definitely not the 1 we saw earlier , her character has been butchered , Gul sold Anika's self respect to buy trps 😊

Annika was shown as a very strong person. Therefore in the current situation you would expect her to stand strong and demand respect from Shivaay and the Oberois. She is living in Shivaay's house, fighting for her Sindoor rights when Shivaay himself has introduced another woman as his wife to society. Yes, she loves him. But he doesn't respect her. NO relationship can survive without respect. There is no point "hanging on" and asking to be given respect as his wife when he just used her.

As for Om, I dont understand why HE has to be brought into an issue of Annika being an Abala Nari or not? People are talking of Self respect here. Om's issues have nothing to do with self-respect. He is a product of a dysfunctional marriage. It is easy to judge someone, but the fact remains that a person can be traumatized by their parent's relationship, by his father's mistress being thrown in their faces. It can drive someone easily to depression.I know a guy who had a similar situation to Om. He actually did drugs for awhile too. He's fine now, but in his early 20's he went through a lot of angst. Different people have different circumstances and ways of dealing with it. Some people are over sensitive, so find it harder to handle conflict. Om is damaged. As for hiding the truth of the accident with Priyanka, he has clearly suffered for it, because it is contrary to his nature. The guilt drove him to drugs. It DOES happen to people in real life too. What they have shown is realistic. If Shivaay can behave in a borderline criminal way for his love of family and family name, why can't Om do the same for his sister? Why is it Raas Leela for Shivaay and Character Dheela for Om? Why bring him into a topic that had no relevance to Annika at all? The two characters and their situations are not comparable in any way.

Not just in India, but in other parts of the world also girls/ women will not let go of their marriage easily. But neither should a woman denounce her self-respect totally so she can save her marriage. Because in the end you will loose yourself! Once you lose yourself there is nothing left. Married or not!

Great piece of analysis on Anika .
I totally agree Anika is not abla she is tolerating the hard things that life is throwing on to her .
Let's see what lies in future for her she is fighter hope she rise and give it back to sso and walk with dignity

Shivay is up for his guilt trip...from the start watever he has done to the grave mistake he has done now, he sure has to go through a lot and that would be his transformation from a stone-hearted Shivay Singh Oberoi to just Shivay ! :)

from strong bak bak karne wali to becharai poor despo rulako hai aisa lagta hai koi nala phat gayaa lolz and sab kuch thek karna chahti hai evn in life of some one she dnt like jaise shivaay ..nahi nahi mein shivaay k shaadi tia se nahi hone dongi and bla bla aur end mein khud roti hai majoboori majbboori karte karte thats abla nari and that Anika now mano ya na yahi sach hai

bringin om in this was pure pointless :))

Exactly, men are always forgiven no matter what...like Om was...like Shivay is...Dadi didn't reprimand him the same way she told Anika of losing faith in her!

To ur question: Anika's situation is different...she has known Shivay more closely...she has seen the Devil side of him wen he blasted the car, the arrogant side of him during the 3 day challenge...the loving and caring side of him on Rakshabandhan...the carefree side of him or just the Shivay in him came out on the party night he was drunk! She knows he is stone-hearted but not heartless...he did stop Pinky from slapping Anika and told that he was the one who asked Anika to take Tia's place!

She knew he did not harm Sahil - Biggest Relief...she met Sahil, hugged him and cried seeing him fine...!

Here, more than self respect, its her courage...she is facing all that he is doing to her, still caring about his family's sentiments by doing every ritual...and I feel she will truly stand up for herself if she refuses to sign the divorce papers coz Shivay is trying to have his way in everything...if he forced her to marry him, she has got all the rights to refuse the divorce and make him suffer for his own decisions...and ultimately both want divorce we know!

And she did keep her self respect intact by leaving his house immediately after Muh-Dikhayi...he had to come and ask her to come back...she again left his room and he had to come and ask her to get inside the room...she will walk out wen he gives her divorce papers and he himself will stop her...so her self respect is gone nowhere and he is everytime back tracking on his own words ! :)
