I think we can agree that manhandling is never okay and that he went too far. Personally, I didn't think the writing or the direction was romanticizing manhandling or abuse. He looked like he lost his damn mind and she looked terrified. There was nothing about today or yesterday's episodes that indicated anything romantic happening between them. She lost and he won. It was sad, but realistic. She will rise from the ashes and be the bigger person or return all the pain he inflicted on her on in the future. Who knows what the writers are planning.

I am not interested in his redemption track..personally I don't think that's needed.. but I will want to watch and I am sure for this will happen that Shivaay will make up for the damage he did by filling her empty life with the wonders of life and happiness she cannot have ever imagined and never ever give her a chance to feel lonely and alone.. abut redemption, anika ka takkar abhi bhi baki hai dost.. bagadbilla tha aaj.. kal bagad billi ka waqt hoga 😉

the manhandling was not romanticized at all .. 😊 it was pure raw and harsh.. it was his way of showing dominance ,, which was not correct obviously but I could see any romantic touch in that.. rest I think my thoughts were conved .😃 and yes.. lets not judge him coz we know.. he will be the ONLY one she will EVER HAVE.. and so HE will be the WORLD has ONLY for HER😳

This not the first time shivaay was like this, we have seen this side of shivaay in the past also. For him family is the most important thing and he will do anything for his family. Yesterday for him everything he did yesterday was to safeguard his family reputation, all his emotions, thoughts etc were shut down at the moment.
When it comes to Anika, she is too good. She did what she felt she should do and there nothing wrong with that. At the end of the day both did what's best for them and for present situation.

He just used her fear to get her ready to marry him and she was very much in her sense when she married Shivaye. if she married him to save her brother from death, Shivaye did that to save his Daadi (the old lady would have died of heart attack after knowing the bride has walked over her grand son.

You have said it all that we have been discussing.
And iM NEVER going to be tired of repeating how LITTLE i enjoy violence, ideological or physical, but there are violences of many kinds according to individual flaws. I will NEVER be okay with any one hitting anyone else, and anyone else romanticising that violence.

But throwing around extremely sensitive words like rape, bipolar, psycho, people need to educate themselves a bit more for these words are offensive to those who HAVE been on the receiving end of all this.
I'm sorry but rape-culture is a hugely problematic and sensitive concept and i refuse to believe that that is what was being portrayed OR that is what came across in yday's epi.

On through phone so cannot write more right now, but i will.
