On a serious note, the plot is doing a lot changes to what one can expect the original, tashan wali Anika to do--kick both these Richie riches to the curb--both the news over eager one, and the old one still twisting in the wind, between head and heart. Also, to deal with this threat more intelligently.

But I think the stalker plot is deliberately meant to break her, soften her up, make her need a good man and pronto. Its kind of sudden, and as a single girl who has lived alone abroad, before getting married I can tell you it might be scary at times, but seriously, her reliance on JUST Shivaay and the most incompetent bodyguards in the Indian subcontinent is now too much.

Maybe Gul found she's written her FL into a corner, with people not being to accept that she is this tough. I suppose its only we the "niche" audience who can and do expect her to be more competent, more practical (HELLO, POLICE? Ji, namaste. aab kaise hai? bhabi-ji aur chunnu munnu kaise hai? Kaam pe ati hu. Hamare house pe koi attack kar rahi, din-raat chale aate hai, khud ki sasuraal samajkar. Aap kasht leyenge, ek baar aane ke? Okay! Jai Hind.) 🤣🤣

But dont forget--- As far as TRPs, go, the abla nari trope works. I can take it a little, as long as the end result is some serious khirki thoding with Daksh as what is breaking the window, and old Chameli back from retirement for an honorable last appearance.

I mean, if it were a deliberate, mocking sort of a thing, like I have been taking it to be, it would be different, but this is actually for real. The fact that Anika spending a night in another dude's company is what is required for LOVE to raise its ugly head. I don't believe it, I do not like it.

What I dislike the most about this entire thing is how she's not been really GIVEN a chance to say anything as a character. Just like that, she's become a rag doll from a sone di doll, if you know what I mean?

I don't like this contrivance which reeks of sexism, heck it even goes against the logic of story telling. Khair. I wanted to vent.
