Soumya too looked hurt and in pain but she is a more restrained personality than Rudra and also is stronger than him emotionally, she could hold back the tears a little more convincingly. I guess losing her both her father and brother has made her like this and she has never had a shoulder to cry on. Rudra will now be that shoulder. Likewise, she will treat Rudra as more than just a kid, because he is just so much more than that...

Actually RumYa are the most intense atm, which is a pleasant surprise because everyone sorta expected them to be the cute happy go lucky couple. Rudra's 180 degree change in demeanour and personality when it comes to Soumya is making RumYa very exciting and enjoyable to watch.


I honestly don't expect Om to have an 'intense' love story at all, but that's another topic. :)

I love Rumya so much. I'm glad we're finally getting to see their love story and their characters develop. All of their scenes are simple but packed with so much emotion. I am someone who started to watch Ishbaaz 3 months after it first started and after catching up to the show, I must say one of my points of interest in this story is Rudra and Soumya.

I recently posted my first ever comment on this forum and that was on a RUMYA post. I really love their equation. Finally something different from Gul's camp. Rudra is fabulously complex but totally simple as well. He does not have a lot of hang up's or major anger issues. But he is still so layered. Some mature and intelligent writing is coming through for this character. Even Soumya is a very layered character and has many aspects to her. But the strongest being her steady and mature nature which is a foil for Rudra's more easy going laid back style.

Leenesh is a serious find and such a versatile actor. He delivers in all his scenes, be it with Soumya, his parents or the O'Bros. The phase that RUMYA are at right now is amazing to watch and their intensity is superb. There is a serious undertone between them now. They both have feelings for the other, but don't want to be the first to voice that they do in fact feel "Married". It's a big deal, and they are still very young. But age is not a barrier to true love. But with life experience comes more maturity to handle it.

But I feel these two will grow up a lot courtesy of this secret marriage. Especially Rudra. Suddenly he is put in a position of being something his older brothers are yet to become "A married man", a husband! I think it was a good move to get Rudy married first. It will be a point of conversation and even jokes in their family in the future that out of the OBros, the first to get married was happy go lucky, party animal / casanova Rudra.

These days, when I watch Ishqbaaz, I am waiting for the RUMYA scenes. Napstermonster was right. Rudra, the most un-likely member of the OBros trio will be the biggest Ishqbaaz of all. HE will do the crazy stuff to keep his love in his life. Something his big bro is yet to do, and his O Bro (Om) is yet to even feel!

Both Leenesh and Nehalaxmi are excelling in their scenes and I wait eagerly for their next scene!
