Look at it this way-----

Om was a certain way because of all the angst in his life.

His father cheated on his mother , his mother was a drunkard , lost in her pain and the fact that even when he never wanted it , he and Shivay were always going to be pitted against each other for the heir race by Tej and Pinky.

Pinky's rude behaviour towards Jhanvi was also a point.

Also Riddhima. Wasnt she supposed to be this publicity-hungry person? i know she cared for Om but she also wanted fame and this wouldnt have gone down well with him?

Slowly and steadily the cvs have removed all of these angst points.

Tej no longer has an affair and even swetlana's character is gone---the actress has signed some other show. Now , he doesnt even pressurizes him to join the business.

Jhanvi doesnt drink any longer and she and Pinky have become BFFs. There is no longer the intense competition which we saw during the Maha-aarti.

Apart from being a commentator and now a murderer , what is Om's role? Where is his character graph?

Its just sad because Omkara truly was a class apart and it saddens me that we wont get to see him , the one that was promised , anymore.

Sorry if it hurts, but hiding a hit and run case is something which could have been never expected by a positive character of any show

Am not going to comment anything on this track because I never had any expectations from this track, it's just added to calm down Om's fans.
And secondly I wanted to comment on getting complete picture by watching two to three episodes more.

And I don't have any patience to crib anymore. 🤣

It would still be inconsistent with his prior characterization but it could be explained.

Now i am afraid history will repeat itself.

Me and Rachu were expecting something similar, but this hit and run case is certainly not done

I am getting a feeling that once Shivika is done, the battle for heir will restart and this time Om will actually work to defeat Shivaaye and as a negative person

I think he is the next Tej in making, just like Ishana had said

I know they gave this track only because Om's fans were demanding a lot and post this, they will stop demanding 🤣

Even I didn't keep much hope in this track, but I was atleast expecting that the track will not butcher the character of Om, but I guess, it is wrong to expect anything

Preet I agree with you completely. Its a sign of worst character. Hitting by accident is something else but hiding it is crime and being satyavadi harishchandra it's biggest crime.

I thought that gul gave kunal break to enjoy before they shoot for drug track. We get three omless episodes. Gradually cv is removing all the points for which this character is loved. Now turning him liar, murderer, and hypocrite is the major setback for his characterization. If he is hiding his crime then how can he claim he believes truth anymore. No one will relate to him now. I am really disappointed.

I agree Shipreeta. This wasnt the Om i fell in love with. Him hiding the Hit and run is the last nail in the coffin.
