Even I didn't keep much hope in this track, but I was atleast expecting that the track will not butcher the character of Om, but I guess, it is wrong to expect anything

I agree even I expected that they won't torn Om's truthful character by making him hide his crime 😆.

I dont know whether you guys agree with it or not but i honestly believe Off-screen nonsense has affected On-screen character development.
And this isnt even about VM.

Now turning him liar, murderer, and hypocrite is the major setback for his characterization. If he is hiding his crime then how can he claim he believes truth anymore. No one will relate to him now. I am really disappointed.

I am equally disappointed Sitara but we can't do anything they actually successfully killed the most loved character.

Actually I feel that they are showing that Om is just words and not actions'

He speaks great words but doesn't know how to follow those

Usually when someone gives a lot of gyan , they also need to lead by example. Now Om can never question others on their manipulative business practices. Even the confrontation scene with Ishana (i dont want to bring trouble by mentioning her here, dont take this otherwise , this is only for example ).

What right did Om have to question Ishana , who only swindled people out of money and never murdered anybody?

See the hit-and-run is not the problem. Its the fact that Om hid it which makes him a grade a hypocrite.

I agree Nikki This is not the Om we loved. he is now shown as hypocrite now they can turn him in a negative lead so easily.

Yes Nickky, in fact after this revelation I feel that Ishana was better than Om,

He has no rights to question her

For the sake of him I want him to be turned completely negative

I can accept him being Tej, but not Shakti

i dont know what has happened. But something has.
Maybe the writer who wrote the initial 30-45 Episodes left because the show itself has had a tonal shift. It is no longer about the OBbros. I had always known Om's Bhaiya Bhabhi will have more prominence but never this.

Maybe the writers are pulling the Middle brother syndrome. Right from the times of Kyunki and Kahani to Kis desh mein hai mera dil , it has always been the middle brothers who turned antagonistic.

This show didnt require it. Also even if they turn Om into an antagonist , a good successful and loved villain requires a lot of hard work and that is not what we are seeing with the cvs here. They have chosen to work on only two characters and i guess we only have two options ----- either we cut our losses and leave or we accept that this no longer is going to be the Ek-Kahani-ke-teen-kisse and ek-dusre-ke-zarroori-hisse.
