I actually think he's already done that, where he's shared his pretty overwhelming responsibilities with Anika, not discussing them-- but actually sharing them. Unconsciously or not, he has found a person of equal strength, and already treated Anika as a fully equal partner. The man who wont let his fiance speak about his business problems hasn't just shared bigger problems with Anika, he has already expected her to deal with them FOR HIM.
Letting Anika to handle someone who he sees as family is a big sign of trust. So Tia doesn't even get a 2 minute discussion about a well known business deal, while Anika gets to decide how to help Mallika when Shivaay himself is worried and shows her that he can't figure things out. And lets her help him. And speaking of Mallika, there was that moment when Anika was literally his partner dealing with her.
Example? When Mallika was rushing to leave the Mansion after the picture leak, before Siddharth Vikram Rana got there. Shivaay had to leave to go see Tej about the Ranas sending them a legal notice. He was torn, because he had to go to Mallika, and here was Tej, demanding his time too. I was floored because instead of Om or Rudra, who was closer to her, or even Dadi, it was Anika who he turned to for help. When she followed him Anika told him to go to see Tej, she would deal with Mallika. And he.. just went. They nodded at each other, and then crossed paths, one heading to take on the first responsibility, the other one taking on the second issue. It was a moment of absolutely seamless, synchronized and compatible partnership.
He might not have any idea, and this isn't a product of being in love with someone, but his deep respect for Anika is already there. Its not respect for her name or admiration for her beauty or even physical attraction that is making him treat her like a partner, and I don't mean a "romantic" partner.
Its him purely acknowledging that she is as capable of taking care of stuff as he is --its respect, pure and simple, for her abilities and strength-- which mirrors his own.
